F*ck Yeah - Jaye Pratt & Crystal North continues Amelie's story over Easter and connects some dots regarding with Baxter when he was at his grandfather's and met Charlotte aka Raven. Love the overlap!

I am a huge fan of these two authors working together. They have undeniable chemistry, which translates to on the page chemistry that keeps me glued to the page.

This book was short but it gave me a glimpse and calmed some nerves leftover from that cliff from the last book. Can't wait for the final chapter.

Love the series and recommend!

So I’m still reeling from the ending of F*ck Off months later and I devoured this book needing to know what happened. Jaye promised me that I shouldn’t feel tortured and broken hearted after reading this, but I still had my doubts. This book was filled with humor, truth, and family in Australia.
I loved seeing Aadi and Smalls again, especially with Kalen in the picture. Kalen possibly became a close second favorite of her guys in this book. He brought so much humor and his interactions with Aadi and Smalls had me crying from laughter.
I absolutely loved that we had Baxter’s POV and that we got a glimpse of Raven- I really need to read the Vengeance series. My only complaint is the length because it’s a novella and there’s only one book left for Amelie and the guys- I’m not ready for it to end. This book luckily didn’t have a massive cliffhanger, but I still need to know what happens next.

This was a short novella that happens between book 2 and 3 where Amelie and Kalen head back to Australia for a funeral during Easter break. We get to learn a bit more about her brother and Smalls as well as get a peak inside Baxter's head when he meet Raven from Vengeance. I absolutely loved getting Baxter's POV, I think that was the best part of this book. The cliffhanger from F*ck Off was brutal so I am feeling a bit more positive after reading about Easter Break.

I love love love that we get more Baxter in this book. He is quickly becoming one of my all time favorite characters. I also love the tie in to his part in Vengeance. This is a great, quick read that is a must read for anyone that is reading either the Knox Academy series or the Vengeance series. You get so much of the personalities of the characters and a great progression to the stories.

Easter Break in this series and yes this is a shorter book but its still full of plot twists. Amelie (FMC) and Baxter (my favourite character) are the main focus of it. Amelie goes home with Kalen to Australia but things dont go to plan. Her and Kalen bring on a few steamy scenarios and a few laughs too. I loved Bex is this book. She was an absolute riot. So funny

Whereas Baxter is with his grandfather and here is where his story crosses over with the Vengeance series (i love crossovers) and introduces him to Charlotte/Raven from that series. Baxter and Raven's meeting gets a little bit stab happy. I know i shouldnt laugh at that but he was being really obnoxious and i couldnt help but think he kind of deserved it. As much as i like him.

The highlight of this book for me though was the banter by text message Amelie & Baxter had. It was constant source of laughs. This book was a great addition to the series and a bloody good read too

Wicked little read

Wow totally needed this to help tide me over until the next book. We get to see Amelie and Kalen in Australia when she's asked to go back for funeral. To be with her brother and Smalls.
We get to see Kalen want to do everything he can while in Australia with some great outcomes.
We also get to read this book from Brandon's p.o.v which brings more to light about him too, and shows the friendship between him and Amelie more.
This book even though is only a little book leaves you on another cliffhanger with Amelie and Kalen and a certain person and something you will not expect. Now totally need book 3

Loved it! It was great to see Ameile in Australia and get to know her family more, even get to see more of Kalen.

Ameile has gone to spend Easter with her family and Kalen has tagged along, much to the annoyance of everyone around him when he has too much sugar, lol.

I loved watching the relationship grown between Baxter and Ameile and the text messages were genius! She finds out a few secrets that have been kept from her but overall this book just let's you get to know the characters more.

I did kinda miss the others guys left back in England, although there are a couple of calls they don't play a huge part, this one is for all the Kalen fans.

For anyone who has read Raven's books, she makes a small appearance and definitely leaves her mark on Baxter.

This is - brilliant. It’s the perfect filler of the time after the brutal ending of F*ck Off. Without giving away too much, this book mainly revolves around Kalen and Amelie taking a trip home. We get glimpses of other characters and meet some new people who could potentially blow the story up.

It’s 133 pages of crazy, but what did you expect when it involves Kalen Knox. If your looking for something to tide you over between book 2 and 3. This is perfect. It has parts that make you anxious, make you laugh and give you hope.

Like every book in this series, I LOVED this one too!!!
Kalen literally had me cracking up laughing at all the things he said and did.
Getting more of Aldi and Smalls was the best and seeing into Baxter’s life was seriously intriging. He’s definitely got a dark side that makes him even more sexy AF!

And that ending!!!! Bring on Term 3!!!
I can’t wait to see where these two authors take us in the next book

Quick novella set at Easter break (between books 2 and 3)

- Amelie & Baxter’s POV
- Amelie and Kalen go to Australia
- Really enjoyed the text conversation between Baxter and Amelie at the end of each chapter - a great insight into their friendship

- We get to see Baxter’s POV when he first meets Raven (crossover with the Vengeance series by Crystal North)

F*ck Yeah is a short novella focusing on Amelie and Kalen going to Aus for Easter Break, we also see what Baxter is up to and theres a crossover with the Vengence series when Raven makes an appearance.

Loved this short, it’s got me so excited for book 3. Kalen had me in absolute stitches but I underestimated the ending, I assumed there wouldn’t be a huge cliff since it’s a novella, I was expecting more of a mini cliff and I was wrong, so very wrong.

Loved it!

As an Australian I love reading books set here, this was perfect - loved reading about all the foods, places they visited etc.
It was great to see Amelia with her family and meet additional family that hasn’t been in mentioned before.
Loved the text messages, I was laughing out loud so much - oh so good.
Overall a great book , can’t wait to read more of this series

Aww I have missed these characters so much!! I was glad to have this novella to tide me over until Book 3. I got some relief to things I had been fretting over from the last book, while setting up new questions. So many LOL moments, including scenes where I devolved from snort laughing to laugh wheezing 🤣🤣

F*ck Yeah is a novella told Dual-POV from Amelie and Baxter during their Easter Break from Knox Academy, with Kalen accompanying Amelie. While the overall Knox Academy series is dark contemporary romance, this novella was an incredibly fun, fng hilarious, light read. I absolutely love it when authors give us extra side stories of our beloved characters during "down time" and we get to feel a deeper connection to them too. Of course there are twists, secrets, revelations, and new questions to the Knox story, so it's definitely a must read if you're following the series.

Baxter [asking after Amelie]: “She went alone?! “No. I believe...Kalen accompanied her.” Jesus, it’s worse than I thought. What kind of protection is that muppet going to offer?
🤣🤣

I love Kalen's crazy ass and very much enjoyed what he brought to Easter Break in Australia with Amelie and her family. I love that this novella gives him a place to shine while also showing more to his relationship with Amelie. And how Kalen and Chelsea hit off? 💕💕 I fell a bit more for Kalen, that's for sure.

Amelie: "What the hell is a shenanigator?”
Kalen: “It’s a person who instigates shenanigans. They’re my speciality."
🤣🤣 It totally is.

Amelie: Kalen grins at me. Tears are streaming down my face, he cracks me up so much.
Same, girl, Same. 🤣💕

I looooved having more Baxter. I might be more obsessed now. Might be. Yep, totally am.

While Baxter is in a different part of the world for his own school break, and would probably prefer that the world think him dead, he does allow Amelie to make contact with him -- snippets of their texting each other is one of my favorite parts of this book. Baxter also meets a new dark haired beauty to obsess over, though his feelings for her differ from what he feels (whether he admits to having feelings or not 😅) for Amelie. For those readers also reading Vengeance, you do not want to miss Baxter's first impressions and dinner date. Baxter also has some self-reflection time that help him reach certain decisions that I think we'll see play out in the next book.

Amelie text msg to Baxter: I gave her a psychopath smile. You know, The Baxter Branson Special? It got me rethinking the offer I declined earlier…burning the world to the ground with you could be fun.

Awwww they are so besties 🥰 I love it!!! 💕

I've grown a soft spot for Smalls, which seems to grow each book. I love their soul-mate-love-friendship, and I hope the authors consider writing his story.

"... You are, and have always been, my best friend. I need you in my life. I couldn’t live in a world where we were not friends, it would kill me. You’re my rock." 🥰

Bring on Term 3! 🖤🖤🖤

This little novella transition from the previous book is just what this series needed I think. I'm pretty sure quite a few readers were left in shambles at the end of the last book after what happened to On. There is a lightness to this book that the others didn't focus on, and a bit more story building that will get us where we need to be for the next main book, although don't think the authors forgot to give us a jaw dropping cliffhanger just because it is a novella. They wouldn't leave us hanging like that...or...technically they would. I also really enjoyed the texting banter between Amelie and Baxter that was periodically included between chapters. It added some humor and meshed the two together as we followed both of them on the spring breaks. If you read the Vengeance series, you'll remember that Baxter is originally from that series(this current series happens before that one). There is an extreme change in Baxter's character from book 1 and 2 of that series and this novella finally lets us see what Baxter's POV is during that pivotal moment of meeting Raven. I really loved seeing how he began to feel something for another person, other than his singular friendship with Amelie, and the catalyst to his change in demeanor and a bit of his outlook on life, just because of one meeting that involved a girl who didn't see him for his name and a knife. Looking forward to the next book!

***OG summary posted in book 1 review, same overall breakdown for all (4) books below***

This seemed like an optional book, but apparently was not, as book three opened with parts from books 2.5, so maybe read it if you actually want to finish the series.

This is dual pov, between Amelie and Branson only.

I actually like his as a character, and assume after this he may get his own book? If not, what a waste of a semi okay character.

He is hidden away on some islands, and Amelie and Kalen go back to Australia for a funeral and Easter break.

Spoilers but like do you care?

Her mom Debbie, yeah, her real mom…makes an appearance, so does the grandma Branson has been working for.

More childish Kalen, I mean the worst he has ever been, I skipped soooooo much, and more monster cock.

Skip to the last three chapters so you can just move on. Nextttttt

Overall? 1
Plot? 2 (bk1), 2 (bk2), 1 (bk2.5), 0 (bk3)
Spice? 2 all the way
Char Dev? Where? 0…nah 1, for Susan.
Cheating? No, but fuck if there should have been
HEA? Wouldn’t give a fuck but maybe
Triggers? Yeah, drugs, alcohol, sexual assault, ptsd, re-trauma, parental abuse, age gap
Tropes? Reverse harem, but shouldn’t have been, crime organization, enemies to lovers to enemies to lovers to wtf? High school bully sort of, shitty guys, poor excuse of a heroine.

F*ck Yeah is a novella that's part of Knox Academy series. It is a break between books #2 and #3, and I actually had fun with this one, mainly because BAXTER. Seriously, I fucking love Bax. His friendship with Amelie was so fun to read, the little messages exchanged between them before each chapter were the highlight of the book imo. Kalen is also present, being his bubbly self. It was cute to see him just being himself in a carefree environment, without having to worry about The Order and The Academy. The novella also soothes the cliffhanger ending in the second book for those who are desperate to know what happened after. We also see a glimpse of Raven, the lead from Vengeance, and I was intrigued enough to pick up the first book in that series after reading this. I mean, if even Branson is enthralled by the mystery surrouding Raven, I have to check it out as well. I enjoyed seeing more of Amelie's life in Australia, and the ending was supposed to be this major twist but it crossed my mind something like that would happen in the series, I just assumed it would be in the third book.

Overall, a fun + light reading while we wait for the next part of the series. 4/5 stars.

Short but sweet Novella following Amelie who returns home to Oz for Easter break with kalen tagging along. Initially returning for a funeral of a friend of Smalls and there to support him, she discovers some home truths, while kalen thoroughly indulges his inner child and goes nuts!! Its in this Novella we see for certain why its good to have kalens brothers other personalities around to dilute his somewhat hyper behaviour!!

Chelsea loves kalen as it allows her let loose for adventures such as going to the local zoo, having a big bbq, and of course can't forget the kids birthday party with the bouncy castle that sees a difficult secret rendezvous in the middle of the night!!

We learn more about her grandma and the whole criminal empire she's built over in Australia. And finally Amelie meets her. She goes to say goodbye on her way to the airport with kalen and gets the shock of her life when someone else is there to meet her too...

Not an essential read but I really do strongly recommend reading this Novella. Like with most, it has little snippets of info that help make sense of certain things later on!

holiday from The Order

I quite liked having this novella in the middle of the series, it was able to tie up the cliffhanger of the second book, move the story along and also give some focus to Amelie’s family who mean so much to her yet we haven’t really been able to make a personal connection to them so far. Although Kalen was the perfect person to go with Amelie to Australia and provided fantastic comedic relief as always, as he is such a larger than life character, it would’ve been really interesting to see one of the other guys go with her to see a different side of their character maybe. I feel sometimes Sawyer and Slate are not given enough page time.

Also really enjoyed having the back and forth banter between Baxter and Amelie as you see just how deep their friendship actually goes and what it means to the usually closed off psychopath. The Baxter and Raven story is really intriguing and a great segue into another book series.

Looking forward to the conclusion to the story.

This is book 2.5 in the Knox academy series. You do need to read the books in sequence order to get the fuall picture. This is not a standalone.

Amelie and Kalen are in Australia for the two week Easter holidays and my gosh Kalen had me in stitches.

His ADHD almost completely took over and he became even more childlike that normal.

He is adorably hilarious in his antics. You can't help but chuckle at him.

Amelie on the other hand is dealing with the guilty of leaving the other Knox brothers behind, worrying about Baxter her protector come friend and trying to find her way with the boy she once loved.

I thoroughly enjoyed both the moments of hilarity and the serious undertones that are laced throughout the book.

Kalen and Amelie continued to keep me thoroughly entertained but I must admit I did miss the twins and Sawyer.

I'm looking forward to the reunion in the next book in this series. It's going to be soooo good!!

This novella is purely worth reading for the ghost busters moment at 80%! 😅

I don't normally enjoy mid series novellas, in my experience they're usually written as a cute story that can be skipped without feeling lost continuing the main books.

I should have known better. These authors have the talent of throwing the romance rule books out the window in favor of an entertaining and satisfying story, and this novella is no different. We pick up shortly after where we last left off, with Amelie on Easter vacation back home. She spends the time coping with what her life has become, while getting long awaited answers I was dying to read! Now I can't wait to see how the story ends, while praying I don't have to wait until September for that to happen 🙏 because of course these devious authors left us with another big cliffy along the way!

“Did you read the fine print? It states that, since Kalen doesn’t have blood from both parents within the...whatever it’s called...founder families, the only way he can be the sole ruler of the kingdom is to marry me, knock me up, and take my position because he’s a man.”

Audi and Smalls want Amelie to return to home for a funeral. She returns with Kalen by her side, who has skewed ideas about Australia. They’ve returned for the Easter break for what can only be called riotous fun. Kalen’s eager to take in everything Australian from fairy bread to kangaroos. He really is like a big kid in a candy store, his excitement is infectious. It’s easy to forget when reading this novella that “The Order” exist. With Amelie passing the initiation and being accepted it’s a first for a woman to be in charge. Which makes Amelie a threat.

Fuck, that beginning almost gave me a damn heart attack. You can't do this shit to us, it's bad for our health! After 3 books it obvious that we get emotional invested in the characters, and when you crazy authors give us scares like this one, it take precious years of our life. Despite that little scare, I really enjoyed this book. We got a lot Baxter's POV, and the messages between him and Amelia were pretty entertaining, we were able to see a different side of him, a lighter and playful one. It's cute. Kalen is still his hyperactive, hilarious self, always saying crazy shit that make me laugh every time. I think he's my favorite character ever. And of course, not even when they're in vacation can they keep themselves out of trouble. I can't wait for the next one ♥️

Queens!!!!

Honestly these two authors absolutely slay, queens of book cliffhangers. I swear it will come to the last book in the series and it will still end with a cliffhanger. I was literally crying from the first page I read (especially with how book 2 ended) then I was like what the actual hell, what a way to rip out a girls heart. Despite the beginning it was a really fun book. I fell in love with kalen some more in this book. He genuinely cracks me up. He reminds me a lot of a puppy so overly excited to explore everything and meet people. I loved reading about the very lush baxter too and it was nice having raven pop up from the retribution series. All in all utterly brilliant and hopefully camilla gets comeuppance!!!!!!

Gahhhhhhhh! I flipping love these books! Jaye and Crystal make an amazing team and I’m always so excited when one of their books land on my Kindle!

“Baxter: I give up, you’re a lost cause.
Amelie: See you soon Batman bestie.”
- F*ck Yeah, Crystal North and Jaye Pratt

I loved Kalen and Amelie in this book, their chemistry and playfulness is infectious and so fun!
The true winner here is the friendship between Baxter and Amelie. Their texts back and forth are so snarky and sarcastic! I loved getting to see this side of Baxter!
And dang it if they didn’t slide another big surprise in there at the end! *shakes fist in the air*
I can’t wait for book 3 in this series!!!

Absolutely loved it but what else was to be expected?! Amelia and Kalen head down under and what happens when you take the loveable, annoying ADHD Kaylen somewhere new? Chaos and trouble. While Amelia is spending time with her family of course new problems arise and then we hear from Baxter sigh!
Baxter’s back with all his emotional highs and lows which are there but you don’t see. Now Crystal you and Jaye need to just stop teasing and add him to the damn harem!! Baxter meets Charlotte and he’s intrigued. But also confused. She’s someone who’s not scared of him but he can’t figure her out.
What’s going to happen to everyone when they return to school? I can’t wait!!

I want more!

This book is in Amelia and Baxton’s POV. Amelia is on a trip to see her family and Kalen tags along. Kalen was a riot this book. I love his enthusiasm for being in Australia and acting like a hyper kid. We get to see Amelia and Baxton’s friendship also even though they are oceans apart. I loved how protective Braxton is of her. We also get Baxton’s POV from when he met Raven. If you haven’t read Vengeance you need to! I love his reaction to her and it makes me even more excited for the next book in both series!
