well guys I did it again.
I genuinely after being tired of constant lectures, I didn't had any desire to read books. Until I stumbled about this book on Wattpad. a spinoff to the book I actually loved a year ago? Of course I couldn't drop it.
Y'all don't judge me for having Wattpad😭🙏 books are sometimes more good there on plot than the actual published books [hah oops]
The writing style is as clear as daylight, its easy to understand and easy to get to for me.
The difference between vampires and humans is like a line between poor and rich in the countries. They drink human blood to survive since they consider them inferior and they are trained to be vampire pets right from the start.
Here we found that there are two vampires, Nico and Xander, both brothers stumbling upon a pet shop to buy themselves one, while Xander initially didn't thought of it, he didn't refused the offer, and so he chose our protagonist and named her Doe like a deer.
The time frame here you will see skips majorly fast in the starting, as a spinoff, everything happens after the specific timeframe has passed. In the start we get to know the reason Xander has been keeping Doe, for his fascination of Layla, he believed himself to be in love.
Xander Vanderwood [short for Alexander]. I love this dude, now don't get me wrong, from the starting he's a very complicated character, you will dislike him, I did too, I was very perplexed and angry at him, he would stay quiet, and I wanted him to voice it out. His character development takes a major role here, it's like a key development that snaps in and I get to know more about him from the inside, he's funny, easily loveable, and doesn't realises his self worth and is broken. Yet I loved him deeply because he's fictional and he did so many realistic things that people do in love which they think they are and it broke me.
The way Xander makes a bad reputation for himself just for the sake he wants to be punished makes me want to smack him hard. But the way he sorted things out? MWAH. my guy I loved him with his green eyes and a bit long blonde hair [yes guys you heard me right.]
Doe is a very interesting character, she's way different than Khloe may I add, and I just don't know how to say it, she's just afraid of Layla, but she's not afraid of Xander, she points his mistakes out, and is a bit judgy on him. She helps him out ,and makes him realise the situation. I loved her character and the way she's taken in control here.
I don't know what to say other than the fact it is more on romance, and it's also a very much slow-burn and I loved it intensely may I add. The way they interact is so funny and when Xander shy away from her at one point was so laughing awh. They healed something in me and I was soo in love with both of them. And when they spill tea to each other🤭🤭 besties for life lmaoo! They also called each other nicknames that were laughing like dove which was sweet and her calling him LEECH and BEDBUG like I laughed so hard when they talked about it
okay them mentioning about virginity [now I don't know if it's in book 1 or 2] but I had to skip it so many times because this book made me had second hand embarassment so hard that I just didn't know what to do with it. But skipping it was also okay since it didn't changed much [lie.] I loved seeing Nico and Khloe too🤭 it was a bit different seeing them from this perspective but I loved it. The characters like Erik, I loved THAT GUY!! save him for me ahh. I loved Magnus too!
This book had me giggling and blushing, laughing and even second hand embarassment, yet I still loved it and I would recommend, read the series in order so don't read the spinoff first! read vampires pet.

Honestly this book was such an amazing read. I think I liked it better than vampire's pet.
The whole of vampire's pet has portrayed Xander in such a way and this book just tells everything wrong with that.
Doe is definitely my inspiration, she's such a beautiful and strong character that you can't help but fall in love with. And Xander well he deserves the world.
The writing in this book is just so mesmerizing I couldn't find fault in any of the words written.
The author has such a beautiful mindset, I'm honestly in love with this book.
One of the best book out there on wattpad and it deserves to be published.

A must read AFTER Vampire's Pet. Didn't think I'd be able to like Xander so much but the way the story is told made me shift Nico to #2.

I read this book for the first time on Wattpad 😭 this book is sooo good 🤌🏻 beautifully written the plot 🤌🏻🤌🏻 this is the first & last most perfect vampire booki read.🫶🏻 5/5💜

Just like the other Version I love this book series with my whole heart❤️.
The plot with Alexander being such a cute gentle guy and only did these stupid things because of Layla, surprised me so much.
I like that he shows his emotions openly, this makes me like a guy even more❤️.
Doe is so strong and I hope that she gets her happy new life in the fourth book.

Ah another from my wattpad days 🤠 this was better than the main story imo and i really liked the fl she was such a good character and the flawed ignorance of the ml felt relatable? I just remember liking this a lot and thinking it was well done
