As the charter season continues, yachtie Kenzie Anderson suspects that beneath the tranquil surface aboard Almost Paradise are turbulent currents. Has the havoc of the past several charters simply put her on edge? Or is something dangerous hiding just out of sight?

Captain Jimmy James Gamble can't believe it when items belonging to charter guests begin to disappear. His suspicions continue to grow deeper as secrets cause tension aboard the yacht. Just what is happening below deck on his boat?

As answers rise to the surface, neither Kenzie or Jimmy James are prepared for what they find. Have both of them reached their tipping point?

Christy Barritt is an author, freelance writer and speaker who lives in Virginia. She’s married to her Prince Charming, a man who thinks she’s hilarious—but only when she’s not trying to be. Christy’s a self-proclaimed klutz, an avid music lover who’s known for spontaneously bursting into song, and a road trip aficionado. She’s only won one contest in her life—and her prize was kissing a pig (okay, okay… actually she did win the Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Suspense and Mystery also). Her current claim to fame is showing off her mother, who looks just like former First Lady Barbara Bush
When she’s not working or spending time with her family, she enjoys singing, playing the guitar, and exploring small, unsuspecting towns where people have no idea how accident prone she is.

Tipping Point was another great read by Christy Barritt. This was the last in the series and it was just as good as the first one! I really enjoyed getting to know Jimmy James and Kenzie. These two characters are so different yet work so well together. The mystery kept me going and wondering what was happening. I highly recommend this series. It was very enjoyable.

As usual, Christy didn't disappoint with this satisfying conclusion to this Mayday series. I love the characters of Lantern Beach, and Kenzie and Jimmy were no exception. Always just enough mystery to keep me turning the pages and not wanting to stop.

This is another AMAZING story of Kenzie and Jimmy James! It really seems they can’t get a break! But this one truly had me holding my breath.
I’m not a water person, so when this story starts out with Kenzie waking up in the middle of the ocean, I couldn’t read it fast enough to be able to relax and know she was safe or was she? It seemed like trouble is always following her and Jimmy James.
I do put myself in the place of the characters so I really was on a whirlwind ride with these books in this series. I LOVED IT!
Oh, and the idea of owning a yacht and sailing to different places, being served and waited on, is a fun thing to think about.
Christy Barritt takes her characters on so many adventures. How does she think of all these things? This story has waves and waves of crimes that just don’t seem to end. I didn’t want to put the book down until I finished it. (That way I could breathe!) I really wanted to find out what was happening and who the bad guys were. I had no idea who truly was the bad guy! Wow, what a ride!
I’ve said this before, but it is so true - Christy Barritt is undeniably a gifted author because her books are always so full of interesting adventures, that make it so hard to breathe.
If you LOVE heart-pounding mystery, suspense, action, with a little bit of romance, then you will love this book!
This story will keep you on the edge of your seat until you finish it. Be prepared to not put it down, even to eat or sleep! Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE THESE BOOKS! If you like twists, and turns, “who done it” stories, then you need to buy this book!
I was given this book by the author which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

OH WOW!
It's hard to review this book without giving too much away. But the action literally starts on the opening page when Kenzie finds herself in the deepest most dangers spot she's ever been in.

The action is really good in this story as is the chemistry between Kenzie and Jimmy James. I honestly didn't see the ending coming out the way it did, but it was good, very good.

I think one of the things I appreciate about this author is her creativity in the characters she brings as well as the nice twists she gives to each story. Having read all the Lantern Beach stories, Jimmy James has made his share of appearances and his character was questionable in few of those books. Seeing him in this series front and center as a man of integrity, AWESOME.

Disclaimer: I did receive this book from the author, but was under no obligation to provide a review and all opinions expressed are my own.

The cruises of deception come to an end

Kenzie Anderson once again finds herself the target of injury and harm as the luxury charter yacht sets sail from Lantern Beach, destination: St. Augustine, Florida. This time, however, Kenzie and her friend, Captain Jimmy James Gamble, have finally begun to figure out what is really going on aboard ALMOST PARADISE. Unfortunately, my suspicions -- carried through from the first book in the trilogy -- proved to be correct. My punishment? To revisit Lantern Beach when Christy Barritt returns to the crime-filled island paradise. (I'm teasing, of course, it's no punishment to visit Lantern Beach. 😄)

I've read other books by this author and enjoyed them very much. Her squeaky clean series is terrific. I read book #1 and this book, #3, in this series. The writing just isn't the same as other series. First of all, these are adults and chaste kisses and warm glances? Jealousy and uncertainty? And I just didn't see the whole point of the plot. Without giving it away, why? I'm sure this nefarious activity would have been much more effective elsewhere, other than on a yacht- or made more sense. And the reason for trying to get rid of Kenzie? Because she was nosy? She sort of just stumbled on things and wasn't pro-active.

I liked this book but I didn't love it.

Kenzie Anderson and Captain Jimmy James Gamble are involved in more intrigue as someone tries to get Kenzie out of the way. But why? The clues seem to point to the cruise ship, but how is it or the other crew involved and what kind of scheme is going on. Another suspenseful read from a great mystery writer. You’ll want to read the whole series (in order for maximum enjoyment) as the tension and danger mount and the intrigue rivets you to the page. I’m sorry to see this spinoff series end and hope the characters may show up again. I received a copy from the author all opinions are my own.

A very fine ending

Kenzie and Jimmy James are faced with more life threatening incidences and have a rough time wiggling out. It seems that some crew members conspired with the yacht's owner to bilk rich people of their wealth. Kenzie kept getting in the way. The last cruise was exceptionally dangerous, as Kenzie was abandoned in a dinghy in the ocean & left for shark food, with a storm rolling in. This kicked off more virulent attempts to get rid of her. Suspense reigns as they work to solve the mystery. Good reading.

A great conclusion to the Lantern Beach Mayday series.Poor Kenzie has been in enough life or death situations in the few weeks that she has worked on the Almost Paradise to last a lifetime. Will she have to continue to watch her every step? This book answers some questions that I had and others that I didn't even know that I had. Through this short series, I loved getting to learn more about Jimmy James and meeting Kenzie. As always, look forward to catching up with them in future Lantern Beach books.

My thoughts: this is the third book in a new series by ms. Barritt. I have not read the first two books in the series yet so I felt like I kind of came into the story in the middle. However, whatever I missed might or might not have been important to the story, but it still was a good read. Like a luxury yacht, Rich patrons, and a mystery at sea. The hero and heroin were not unlikely pair but miss Barrett made it work. If you like romantic suspense you will like tipping point and probably the first two books in the series as well. I was given a copy free and all opinions are my own.

I like the two main characters. They are strong, brave, and selfless. I enjoyed the scenes when they had to face the bad guys and dangerous situations. It was an interesting storyline, but I felt like it took too long to get to the conclusion. The bad things that happened to the main character seemed a little too extreme for the conclusion as well. Generally a good read, but not my favorite Christy Barritt book. I have read many of her books and would give most of the others I've read 4 or 5 stars.

I had a BETA Copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Christy Barritt has written a great ending book for this series. I enjoyed the suspense in this book, and the interactions between Jimmy James and Kenzie. The plot also touches on forgiveness and acceptance of family members. Interesting plot and a few surprises along the way. I would highly recommend reading it and the rest of the series.

Wow! Tipping Point is a heart-stopping conclusion for this latest Lantern Beach series. The book begins with Kenzie waking up in a rowboat floating in the ocean - with a storm brewing!!! And that is just the beginning!!!! If you like action, suspense, great characters and trying to figure out "who done it" stories, you have to read this book!! I received an advance copy from the author but all opinions are my own.

Another great book by Christy Barrett!!

I love to read books in a series. Kind of sad this is the last one in this series but I know Christy will probably have another series coming up.
This book has mystery, romance, and a Christian theme throughout.
I usually read her books in the first day to three days when they first come out.
I think this is book number 126 for me this year, all on kindle.
Thank you, Christy for providing these for free on Kindle Unlimited.

Thrilling and romantic

I enjoyed this story about Kenzie and Jimmy James. Willing to accept people for who they are is one of the characteristics of God. Trusting God to guide through every situation helped them to grow their faith in God. The mystery that overshadows every aspect of the story kept me reading!! I love Christy Barrit's books. Always a pleasure to read, and so much more affordable than others.

One story with Kenzie and Jimmy James and all the mishaps was enough. This had too much of the same drama and read more like a YA story
of them unable to decide, their life, love or career.
When per the guest instruction items were kept in a guest chest of drawers. Eddie having an unusual item in his chest also.
One figured out what was happening on this cruise.
This series didn’t have the depth of a plot or the characters like her other
Lantern series.

The adventures of Jimmy James and Kenzie continue in this book, Tipping Point. I enjoy the whole idea of having their story take place on a yacht. This adds a great deal of adventure to the theme. The mystery behind the happenings on the yacht in this story is well planned out and extremely surprising. I enjoy how the love Jimmy James and Kenzie have for each other grows throughout all the happenings in this story. I highly recommend this book.

Amazing series

This book was every not as great as the other two. You will not believe who's been behind everything from the beginning. I could see who one of the accomplices was once revealed but you'll have to read them all to get full experience of this mystery. Trust me all the way to the end enjoyable. Thank you Christy for the entertainment once again. God bless you lady you are an incredible author.

Mayday

Drama galore ahead! From the first paragraph to the last page, you'll be holding your breath. Christy Barritt outdid herself.
Although I loved the story, I do believe that anyone who knew Jesus would have been praying for His help if faced with such life and death situations.

So exciting

This was a brilliant, exciting round up to this mini series of Lantern Beach with more life threatening situations for Kenzie and Jimmy James, threats to family, mysterious happenings both on the yacht and at the marina, as well as newcomers on the yacht, they have to work quickly to find the culprits and the reasons why.

Even if I’m in my late 70’s … Jimmy James is a nice piece of eye candy!

Christy Barrit does it once again … Suspense, mystery, a bit of romance … a WONDERFUL read. I so enjoyed glimpses of Chief Chambers with her pregnancy, a grilled cheese (with fresh peaches I hope!), and finally meeting the elusive Mr Robinson …

Tipping Point Tipped the Scales

Suspense from the start, you didn't know who the guilty was until the end. Loved the series and a little sad it came to an end. My favorite book is the first one. I recommend this series! I appreciate that Christy Barritt always includes hope and Jesus in her writing!

Intriguing Series!

I love Christy Garrett's novels! I've read several of her series and this one was wonderful. I couldn't put it down. The way she puts mystery and romance together is exciting and casts a spell from beginning to end. They are clean, well written and fascinating!

We finally get some much needed answers in this conclusion for Kenzie and Jimmy James. Will they get the happy ending they deserve? Loved how much Chief Cassidy was also in this series. Really nice heroics done by Jimmy James, can't believe what Kenzie had to endure. Not my favorite series, but definitely a good one!
