I am loving these Zyanthan Warriors!!

This series just keeps getting better and better. These Zyanthan warriors are so full of honor and love for their world. They are smart and tenacious willing to sacrifice and do whatever it takes to protect Zyan from The Brotherhood/Coalition threat.

In this one, Remmikov, who seems to be the target of The Brotherhood is being made the fall guy for the explosions that occured at the end of the last book. He is angry and bowled over because he had spent his life working hard to prove his loyalty and fealty to Zyan, to get out from under his traitorous father's shadow. He gets approached by a little human female with a message from the Brotherhood. He is drawn to her but cannot trust her since she must work for the enemy.

McKenna, a tough fierce survivor, is doing everything she can to protect herself and Chloe, from the Brotherhood thug that captured them. Chloe, is being hurt and starved everytime McKenna doesn't follow through on a task or errand. McKenna is sent to deliver a message to a Zyan warrior and she has five days to make him agree to what's in the message. When she meets Remmi she can see he's different but she's scared to trust him with Chloe's life on the line.

We get a huge step forward in the storyline in this installment. There is political intrigue, betrayal of the worst kind, a coup, and the tragic loss of important allies. It's fast paced and action packed. I was speed reading through this in one sitting.

I loved McKenna and Remmi together. They complimented each other in so many amazing ways. Where one was blind the other was there to show the truth of things. Of course I was also crying like a baby, when as usual the strong stubborn warrior will do what he thinks is right to protect his 'Sholani', and then laugh it off when the just as stubborn lady love tells him to get over himself.

Action packed

I love this series. Each books brings something new to the series that keeps the reader wanting to keep reading continuously til the end.
Remmikov has had to live with other Zyanthians disliking and not trusting him because his father was a traitor. Now someone set him up as a traitor too. But why?
McKenna has to deliver a message to someone who is aligned with the Brotherhood. If she doesn't do as told they will punish her friend.

McKenna joined th bride program and ended up some I to slavery. She left Coalition controlled earth where she was hurt terribly to start a new life and ends up in a worse place. While being he!d captive she meets another young woman who has been deeply traumatized from her experiences . So traumatized that she has lost the ability to speak. By some stroke of luck McKenna and her friend at rescued and brought to Zyan . Just when she thinks she's free the Brotherhood infiltrates where she is staying and begins too abuse her and her friend. t is when she meets Remmikov. Remmikov is the so if a traitor who has spent his life trying to regain his family's lost honor. He is a great man who is despised for the deeds of others. When McKenna and Remmikov meet their attraction is immediate, but neither trusts very well. No matter how much they desire each other the lack of. trust leads to misunderstandings and bad choices. Once they realize that they are better and stronger together a new world opens up for both of them . No matter the pain, danger of plotting the downfall of an entire planet can stop these these two once they realize that love is the most important valuable treasure there is. Excellent add I job to the series. It was raw and emotional filled with just the right amounts of danger, Intrigue and not romance. Remmikov has had to battle most of his life with the fact that his father was a traitor. he betrayed not only his family but his race. He was caught and his sons bore the brunt of his actions. Despite all that Remmi (although he hates the nickname) grew to be an honourable warrior, he strived to be better and not let his father's shame change how he chose to live his life. All in the face of Zyan tradition where someone only needs to do something bad once and the rest of the family is tarred with the same brush and never allowed to forget it. If a culture ever needed an epithany it would be this one! McKenna has been sent to get the traitor warrior Remmikov to come to the base where she and her friend have been living. She was stolen as a slave and rescued by a commander called Ossen, however his second in command Voken seems to have taken over and is as different as night and day to the stoic, gruff but kind man. They have been beaten, cut and threatened. If she wants to save her life and Chloe's she has to try and deceive a man she is coming to realise is kind, honourable and not the person who was described to her. Can she tell hm the truth?
Loved this so much. Your heart truly bleeds for Remmi as you wonder how tough it must have been to not turn towards a darker path because of what happened. How difficult it must have been for Kenna too when she wanted to tell the truth but also wanted to protect everyone. These are some of my favourite stories.

Soooo I just don't know, am I in a funk?

I have some issues with this author and I don't think I will continue to read her books.
1. inconsistencies. From one chapter to the next, I'm left confused because from the wording in the previous chapter, it's super obvious to me the characters thought one thing, only for the next chapter to say they think the opposite.
2. overuse of the "withholding information" plot device. UGH.

I DNFed at 41%, right when our herione decided to tell her man "all", except then decided that no, she couldn't. Even though he poses exactly ZERO danger to Chloe, or perhaps his NOT knowing is actually putting her in the most danger, but either way, his knowing does NOTHING bad. And it's the most innocuous thing to tell him, too! She's shared literally EVERYTHING ELSE. WTF woman! I can't deal.

This is a story of deceit, betrayal and lies. There’s also love, fated mates, some very steamy scenes and a happy ending. Remmikov is wanted for setting bombs off and killing people. His dad was a traitor to Zyan and because of that the people automatically class Remmi as a traitor too. He’s in hiding but when he sees someone following he corners them and he never expected a female, let alone a human female. McKenna is being forced to do the bidding of the brotherhood or they torture and starve her only friend on the entire planet. She gives Remmi the message but he’s very sceptical. He continues to see McKenna and they get closer and closer, until she tells him the truth about what she’s hiding. She runs out of the safe house they are in and he can’t find her for several days and is very worried about her so he goes to the Goji base to confront Voken and the brotherhoods plans. He’s willing to do anything for his mate, even walk into the lion’s den.

A full-on adventure that will keep you up too late! Dude. This story is full of intrigue and action. McKenna is almost super-human in how she is surviving her adventures in outer space. Remmi had a lot going on too like he was fighting just to earn a place in a judgey society that shunned him. There's a lot of back and forth and half-truths and all-out lies, it's nearly impossible to keep track of all the twists. I read this straight through, I couldn't find a good stopping point to sleep. This whole series is brilliant, and you can read them out of order but they're better in order.

This book is part of a series about Zyan and the political conspiracies that are working to undermine its government structure. The previous books build up to this point with the underlying spy/traitor struggles.

Like all of the authors books in this series, this book could be read as a stand-alone. However, it is my opinion that it reads easier as part of the series, book 5.

This story focuses on Remmikov and McKenna. They both have strong, valid reasons for their trust issues. Fortunately, after a few mistrustful mistakes of their own, they come together as a mated pair.

This book reads strongly as a cumulative build and final confrontation between usurpers and traitors to Zyan and those working to defend it. There is the romance and relationship building between Remmikov & McKenna along the way. This story has a few twists, some return hero’s, and previous character references.

I enjoyed this book. I am not usually interested in political intrigues, but the author has built up to this point in her other books from this series. It was a relief to actually have a win after all of the dark secrets. I like these two main characters together. I am looking forward to the next in this series.

Remmikov has become target of The Brotherhood and is seen as the traitor behind the explosions that came at the end of the last book, Alien Awoken. Although the books are interconnected, Julie Cohen does a great job of Getting the reader up to speed so, if you miss a book, you can keep up very easily. It was easy for the Zyanthans to believe Remmikov would be a traitor, his father was executed for treason when he was a child. McKenna is a tough fierce human trying to protect herself and Chloe from the Brotherhood. She is sent out on "missions" and when she fails, Chloe is punished. Her current "mission" is to seduce Remmikov and bring him to the base. The book is full of intrigue, steam, drama, action, betrayal, twists and turns. A great addition to the series. And best of all, every book in this series can be read for FREE with your KU subscription.

Great story to read and that I volunteer to review via Booksprout. Remmikov and McKenna who have deep trust issues to work through as their feelings toward each other bloomed was a enjoyable story with twist and turns and action along with steamy romance. Since his father's betrayal, Remmikov is always proving he is a honorable warrior is now a wanted criminal for the bombings in Zyan’s capital. With help from Havok, Remmikov is hiding in a safehouse vowing to prove his innocence. McKenna is sent by Voken to contact Remmikov and give him a message. Voken uses Chloe her friend as leverage so when she returns after finding him with no answer Voken hits her. Returning back to Remmikov who followed her and now knows she is working with the Brotherhood, can he trust her? I got invested in the characters and the storyline while reading this fifth book of this enjoyable series.

This book may be part of a series but you could read it as a standalone as the author does a good job of bringing the reader up to date about Zyan and the political conspirators working to undermine the structure of the government. If you've read the earlier books you will be aware that they have been building up to this point so there is some repartition.

Remmikov and McKenna are the central characters in this story, they are both well-drawn and have trust issues which fortunately they are able to overcome, which allows them to mate. The storyline features lots of intrigue and drama as well as the budding romance between Remmikov and McKenna, there's a lot happening and some twists I wasn't expecting.

Remmikov has been framed for bombings in Zyan’s capital and is running from the Brotherhood. His honor and loyalty are so strong, but no one believes him because his father was a traitor. He meets McKenna and their story is sweet and heartfelt. Both have been put in a bad position caused by the Brotherhood, so neither is able to trust. Yet they are drawn together and respect each other. Will they finally be able to trust and count on each other so that they can combine their strengths and face the challenges aimed at them? Will she tell him the Brotherhood gave her an ultimatum to either betray Remmikov or watch her friend die?

This was an intriguing story that will pull the reader right in. The reader won’t be able to resist these wonderful characters who, despite everything done against them, remain worthy of honor, respect, and friendship. Grab your copy and enjoy their story.

This is such a fantastic book by Julie. She brings the characters to life in such a realistic way. Assaulted on earth, Kenna becomes a mail order bride but is then sold to slave traders. Saved from them she goes to unknown planet and their she must fight for her survival. Ultimately she finds a like minded warrior and together they fight for their love.

Wonderful!!! I love these guys they are so honorable, even though they have issues. He does not think he is worthy of a mate because he has been held to the same mold as his father who was a traitor. He meets his mate but does not trust her in the beginning because she takes messages for the Brotherhood. Come to find out the man who abuses her is his brother whom he thought died in the war. The hits just keep coming. Together they save the council but she is gravely wounded. That is all I will say, you really must read it to find out what happens. Great job!!

This unique and entertaining Book 4 in the Zyanthan Warriors Book Series is an entertaining and intense Alien romance story with great characters. This story has chemistry, steam, action, danger, love and an HEA. These characters are very well written with great interactions, interesting histories and great personalities. Another great story in this series full of twists and turns and some very opinionated and stubborn characters as well as some absolutely delightful ones. This is the story of Remmi ( alien ) and McKenna ( human ). Remmikov ( Remmi ) has been betrayed and trusts no one. McKenna is being forced to track him down and bringing him to the Brotherhood. The story keeps us turning the pages with danger, action and love. I love this series. Even though it is a stand-alone, it is better to read the other books first to better understand all the social taboos etc., as well as the roles of many other characters. The characters and stories always intersect so beautifully, that's why!!! I can hardly wait for the next book in these series.

This a good book to read! It starts of being a little slow going but It definitely picks up. There is a lot that happens, but they get through everything together.
It is about Remmikov Bazzok and McKenna Walsh. Remmikov is an alien who was framed for a bombing and branded as a traitor. He is now on the run trying to clear his name. McKenna is a human who is being forced to help the brotherhood. The Brotherhood gives her a choice: betray Remmikov or watch her friend die. I enjoyed reading this book and I am looking forward to reading more!

I’m loving this series sadly I missed book 4 but I can catch up with it later through my kindle unlimited. McKenna has no choice but to work for the brotherhood she has been given a job to get a warrior to join their ranks but it’s not going to be so easy because Remmikov doesn’t trust anyone, he’s on the run but he’s been framed and no one will believe him and when he finds out that McKenna works for the brotherhood Remmikov kidnaps her. I loved this story it’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

Book five in the Zyanthan Warriors series a SciFi Mail Order Bride Enemies to Lovers Alien Romance story. I would say that to date this is my favorite. Zyanthan Warrior Remmikov/Remmi's story of a man because of his Father is shunned by the Zyan and now he is blamed for something he did not do This story has suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, villains, and a human woman McKenna that will show him he is worthy of love. Remmi is a young warrior trying to overcome the prejudice against him because his dad was a traitor. Kenna ran from Earth with a bride program only to be put in slavery. She's now working for Voken but only because if she doesn't cooperate he hurts her friend. Kenna doesn't trust Remmi to help her even though she has feelings for him. Remmi doesn't trust his feelings for her because he wants to protect her from his reputation.

This is another fab book for the series. I loved this couple together but it was a hard road filled with mistrust. Thankfully, they're fated mates and find a work together towards a happy future for themselves and the planet. So much is going on that this story was quite the page turner for me, with action, twists and sizzling chemistry. I'm looking forward to the next book :)

Another Great Zanthan Warrior Book!

I love this series and I think each book is a little bit stronger. This one does not disappoint!

McKenna and her friend Chloe were rescued from alien slave traders by General Ossen. He has been helping them adjust to life on Zyan. But now he has disappeared and the military base has been taken over by Voken. He is holding her friend Chloe as a prisoner to get McKenna to do whatever he wants. She is sent to find Remmikov and bring him back to the base.

Remmikov has been framed for the bombings in the Capital and has been hiding, trying to clear his name. He knows if he can get through to General Ossen he can get things straightened out. Unfortunately he keeps getting told Ossen doesn’t want to talk to him. When he catches McKenna following him he captures her and takes her to his safe house. Things get even more complicated from there.

This is a fast paced book with lots of twists and turns. Don’t miss it!!

Remmi and McKenna’s story is so wonderfully sweet. Both are so unable to trust anyone because of what they have gone through in their pasts, but in the end they learn to trust each other and face their challenges together. The intrigue of what is happening in the Brotherhood gives some great plot twists to this story and kept me reading late into the night!

Remmi and McKenna have a very sweet story. This is well written with palpable and potent emotions, suspense, danger and intrigue. The plot is entertaining with a few twists.
