Book 2 in the Quantra Chronicles, X Point is such an addictive read that it reminds me of the series I watch on Netflix when I can’t stop watching episode after episode. Each chapter is more entertaining than the last one and in all of them the themes of the supernatural, science fiction and suspense are present.
Lovers of sci-fi can’t miss this second installment which can be read as a standalone and where they would be exposed to the story of Samantha Ryan Blake who gets involved in an unknown world for her, a world where strangers promise her freedom.
Author Crisp has done a great job here laying down Samantha’s feelings and mingling them with the other characters and their secret intentions. What a genius narrative!

Suspenseful sci-fi read

X Point picks up where the first in the Quanta Chronicles left off, with Samantha in a military hospital. Though she is given the opportunity to venture through realms, her journey is far more advanced than that as she is on a search to unlock ancient secrets. It sometimes takes quite a bit of action and suspense to keep my attention for a Sci-Fi read, but this one was an exception to that rule. Though there was plenty of action and suspense during the story, I felt that the character development was such a strong point in the story that the flow of the novel had even more of a scheduled pace to it than I had imagined. I was pleased with the author's presentation of the scenes of different realms and the realistic approach to each individual character. Definitely worth a read if you're into Sci Fi!

Amazing Sequel!

I am so happy to be able to read "X Point" by B.A. Crisp. "Red Bird" was a phenomenal book, and this one is no different. Picking up where "Red Bird" left off, we are with Sam once again as she wakes up in a military hospital and given the chance to go to other realms. I loved the character development in the first Quanta Chronicles book, and in this one, the character development is even stronger. Well-written, with action and suspense to keep the reader entertained, the plot and characters are what really drive the story for me. I love how the emotions just leap off the pages! It makes me feel as if I am right there with Sam and the others as they go on their journey. I loved it and would recommend it to other sci-fi lovers!

The writing style of B.A. Crisp was the first thing that I noticed while I was reading X Point. It was great. The story-telling was pretty easy and I loved the solidity of the plotline the author was able to come up with in this book. The heroine Samantha Blake has a character that sets her apart from the numerous heroines I have encountered in a book.

She is different and I admit that I didn't like her at first and it was hard for me to develop compassion to her but her character has progressed in a remarkable way. The storyline of this book is unlike anything else I have read before and that is the reason why I love it. It was giving me a different feel because not many books have this kind of plot.

A compelling story!
B. A. Crisp is the author of X Point, which is the second book in the Quanta Chronicles series. The story develops around Samantha Ryan Blake, who wakes up in a clandestine military hospital and finds herself surrounded by mysteries that she must solve. It is an interesting blend of mystery, suspense, fantasy and sci-fi.
When I started reading it, I didn't know what to expect from this book because it has many genres. But I was surprised! The author achieved to join them and to create an excellent story. It is fast-paced and the plot is entertaining from beginning to end.
I really liked it and I want to know how it will continue!

An entertaining novel
“X point” is an action-packed story with supernatural touches and a lot of suspense. B.A. Crisp has penned the second book of the chronicles called “Quanta”. It is entertaining and a fast reading.
Samantha finds herself in a weird hospital alone until some strange men appear and propose her something. She must make up her mind to get something in exchange.
I liked the way the setting is described, and the way Samantha is portrayed. She is a brave and dynamic character. At some points, I felt identified with her but I wouldn´t like to be on her shoes. I felt at the edge of my seat while I was reading her deeds. It is a recommended story.

This middle length book gladly surprised me. X Point, the second installment in the series called Quanta Chronicles written by author Crisp, is a novel that caught me reading late at night. I wasn’t able to stop because I found interesting things in every turn of the page.

Characters are very well depicted; their characters and behaviour were well expressed; it was as if I knew them. I believe that Samantha was the one who was best described.

The author’s narrative style captured my attention and it was difficult to put the book down. I certainly enjoyed the plot and how it was developed from the very beginning. Totally recommended read!

“X Point” by author B.A. Crisp is the second book of the Quanta Chronicles series and, same as the previous one, a riveting science fiction novel.
The development of main character Samantha Ryan Blake along the books is just fascinating. We can see how this foster child gains experience and strength to became a heroine, as to be the protagonist of many adventures in this engaging sci-fi plot.
This series is easily one of the most engaging ones of this genre I have encountered. I enjoy very much the author´s writing style as it is different from others: her unique management of suspense and her wise design of the plots make the books original and really engaging.

A multiverse conspiracy of epic proportions.

When she wakes up in a hospital, Samantha soon discovers she has lost four years in a medically induced coma providing her 'special' blood to another mysterious government agency. After she escapes, she returns to her efforts to save not only Earth, but the entire multiverse.

And that's just the 'beginning' of this awesome novel full of action, suspense, shady government conspiracies, and interagency conflicts and backstabbing by both friends and family.

Intricately woven together with hints of history 're-explained' to fit a perfectly plausible plotline, this is a science fiction masterpiece. Five solid stars.

This is the first book I read by author B.A. Crisp and I must admit I was fascinated by her writing style. "X Point" is the second book in the Quanta Chronicles series and in it, the author tells the story of Samantha Ryan Blake.
Samantha wakes up confused in a hospital she does not know, and the only way to get free is in exchange for delivering Raga into the "Source Vortex". But problems seem endless, can she unlock ancient secrets from another world?
I really enjoyed this science fiction book which is full of twists and turns, and I invite all readers to enjoy this reading, as I did.

Waking up disoriented in a military hospital is daunting, and for Samantha Blake it is only the beginning of a new chapter in her life. Offered her freedom in exchange for a terrible task, Samantha must confront her morals and decide exactly what she stands for and what she is willing to do.
The second in the series, I liked the story. It was intriguing enough with the liberal mystery within, but then action, the sci-fi, the suspense all balance it out and the fight will go on. Great handling of multiple character story arcs and continuation of worldbuilding.
