Pros & Cons #5

Pros & Cons of Obsession

Rate this book
A jaded lawman on the wrong side of the law. A vigilante conman with a passion for justice. An obsessed stalker who wants them dead. If they’re going to have a future, they’re going to have to confront the past.

★★★★★

When the past comes calling, there’s nowhere you can hide.

Once upon a time, a conman and a lawman walked into a bar. That conman turned the worst day of my life into the best. My name is Leo Shook. I’m an FBI Special Agent with a secret that could cost me my life.

As if it wasn’t bad enough that my association with Charlie got me suspended from the Bureau, but when Charlie died, he posthumously blackmailed me into babysitting his team of criminals while they ran around the country doling out Charlie’s brand of vigilante justice.

Then Charlie came back from the dead and things went from bad to worse.

Now I'm trapped in a freaky bunker by an obsessed stalker and Charlie is running around at this monster’s beck and call.

I don't know where I am. I don't know where Charlie is. I don't know who my captor is. All I know is that if I don’t get out of here ASAP, I’m a dead man walking.

FIVE MEN. FIVE CHANCES FOR REDEMPTION.

One thing's for sure, they're no angels.

★Pros & Cons of Obsession is book 5 in the series and NOT a standalone. You'll be much less confused if you've read the first four.

***4 - 4.5 Stars***

Pros:

- extremely loveable guys (and with that I mean the whole bunch, but Leo and Charlie were/still are my favorites!!!)

- this was Fun with a capital F

Cons:

- even the plotholes had plotholes

- the editing still left much to be desired

- a pet peeve of mine (no worries, I don't let you guess, it's flashbacks)

Yeah, no, you don't need new glasses and I'm sure you aced maths. The cons do outweigh the pros, so why such a high rating? (heads up: you might want to prepare yourselves for a long and eloquent explanation now...)

...

... wait for it

...

Well, tbh, I'm as clueless as you... Sometimes you just don't care *shrugs* The entertainment factor was high, I'm a huge fan of this series and ... well? ... yeah?... I even loved the flashbacks. Shocker, I know ;-) This was my favorite in this series and I'll miss the guys. *sigh*

A con artist and an FBI agent meet on a holiday, have a ‘phoneymoon’ and fall in love. Fifteen years later they discover they’ve had a stalker all this time! #RomCom #DudeLit

The romance was sweet, I liked the part where they put their initials on the lock to hang on the bridge and the con artist put his true initials because ”it doesn’t count if it’s not real.” GAAHH😩!!!! BUT….
1. Too many time jumps between past and present, some were not even important, like when he met the bad guy. If you already TOLD you really don’t need to SHOW, especially when nothing really happens.

2. It felt inconsistent with how the MCs were in the previous books? For one, I was looking forward to him calling Leo ‘daddy’ intimately like he implied he did in book one; instead he was acting like that codename was weird? ALSO, it was implied/said in previous books that they met a handful of times and it was a real enemies relationship between them and maybe the agent was deceived once by him….. I don’t know, the plot is messy. The original one was intriguing but it changed a lot? I didn’t like that. ALSO, the world wasn’t that accepting 16 years ago.

3. Just like my other favorite character’s book, I enjoyed reading because it’s really fun but I expected more from the final books!

I'm absolutely in love with this series. It's right up there as one of my favorite series ever. And I've been waiting for this book for a very long time. That's probably why I was a tad bit disappointed. Not much, but a little.

This is Leo's book and he's been one of my favorites since the very beginning and I've always been wondering what road A.E. Wasp would take for his story. The road she took was a little messy. Both the story itself and the execution. It was a little too many time jumps for me to be fully invested in the story taking part in real time. Was all the flashbacks necessary? Absolutely. But it made me feel a little disconnected and I missed the adrenaline from the other books.

Most of all though, I'm happy that it's not over here. I'm not ready for this series to be over.

I've been waiting for Leo's book since the beginning and I'm glad we finally got it! The entire story Charlie and Leo is revealed at last and I really enjoyed it!

This is told in dual POV with alternating chapters in past and present. It was very interesting to read about their first and the development of their relationship along the years. Loved their chemistry and how they perfectly fit together.

I did figure out the villain pretty easily but it didn't take away from my enjoyment. Also loved seeing the rest of Charlie's crew and I'm excited for the upcoming Christmas sequel with all the couples.

I think I was the most excited for this one in the series. Leo intrigued me from the beginning of this series, and I really wanted to know his relationship with Charlie, why he was an apparent law-abiding FBI guy brought into this band of criminals and Charlie's missions.

We slowly got more as the other books went on, and with the last book ending with Charlie revealing himself to be the "interested party" to Leo and that he was still alive, I was really excited to read their story.

It started off well, with these two reuniting and right away having reunion sex - so we know right away that these two have a history, whatever that might be, and it isn't the first time they've had sex. There's an intimacy to it. They know each other well.

But when Leo is kidnapped and Charlie wakes up handcuffed to the hotel bed naked, and Steele and Breck come into check on Leo and find Charlie, alive and well...well, Charlie has some explaining to do. And they have to rescue Leo, wherever he is.

Throughout the book we go back and forth in time with flashbacks. At first we get when Charlie and Leo first met and how they fell in love, then we get other points in their relationship as well as a few other flashbacks.

And in the present, it's a race against the clock for Charlie and our other Pros & Cons guys as they try to find Leo before the person who took him kills Leo or Charlie or both of them. Because whoever took Leo, it's personal....

Overall, I loved this. I'd been waiting for these two and for the most part they didn't disappoint.

This had the usual amount of typos that AE Wasp has, which at this point is bothersome more than annoying. It's just how this author does it, and her stories are good enough to get past it, ultimately. I do wish she would try harder to catch them, though...like idk if she doesn't read through herself for edits at some point or what, but...I think she should.

Anyway, back to the story. For the most part, I loved these two together. Their beginning was so interesting and had me hooked.

But I did take one star off of this and that's because of the present day stuff...which, I didn't feel like we got enough of with these two. Eventually they do find Leo and we It left me disappointed.

Also the story did this a few times, where it cut ahead to the next part pretty abruptly, and skipped parts that I would have liked to see.

Also in the present, I felt like we didn't get enough of these two just...together. It lowered my enjoyment when so little was focused on these two and their relationship. I know for these two, they're settled into their relationship, and while it's been a complicated one, and not exactly a traditional one, they've still been together for quite awhile.

But like...where was the heat? Where was the passion? Being settled doesn't mean we shouldn't get the .

There were soft and sweet moments between these two, to be sure. But...in the present they were kinda missing that passion and heat, I gotta say. I did adore these two, but...I just wish we had gotten a few scenes focusing soley on them and their love for each other.

It was so focused on the bad guy case of the book, and the other guys in the group (which, isn't bad. I love the other guys, I do, but...they already got their own books. We don't need to focus so much on them) that I just...wasn't getting enough from these two.

Which, not exactly their fault, and more the writing, honestly. Choosing to barley focus on them and their relationship. Taking focus away from them made it feel like they weren't as in love as they felt in the flashbacks, and even in the very beginning of the book when they had their reunion in the present day before Leo was kidnapped.

Even the epilogue, as great as it was to have the group together (I do genuinely love these ten guys and Miranda and Josie as well), it again barely focused on Charlie and Leo, and what their life is like post story.

And it was totally setting up the events I'm sure will happen in the holiday short the author said will be coming out soon (which I'll totally read, no doubt about that), which again...takes away from Charlie and Leo's romance, though. I would have rather had an epilogue focused mainly on them.

So that was my main complaint with this, and hence the taking off a full star. Once we get into the present, with these two reunited...there wasn't enough of them and I was left feeling a little bereft by the ending of this.

I was thinking to myself "I enjoyed this a lot, I couldn't put it down, it kept my attention, a good portion of this I absolutely loved...but why am I feeling like something was missing?" after I finished. I thought more about it and it was because I was feeling duped out of more on the Charlie and Leo relationship. I wanted so much more.

They had a good beginning in the flashbacks, a wonderful beginning, and I know we can't know all of what they did and how they lived the last together, but even the glimpses we got of later years were nice. But just the present day...and their ending...it just left a little to be desired, unfortunately.

The plot was interesting enough. I was totally right about who the bad guy was. I wasn't too worried about him, even when he tried to do his worst.

But speaking about another part that was abrupt - - another part that I feel should have been included that was just skipped over.

Anyway, the bad guy was taken care of (he was a shit, to be sure, but he wasn't that hard to take care of. He was more desperate than anything else, and a desperate man isn't one with a plan, to say the least.)

So overall, I enjoyed the first half for sure, definitely 5 stars, loved getting to know Charlie and Leo's beginning, seeing them fall in love, all that good stuff. The plot overall was entertaining and kept me interested. But I just had too much a problem with the above stuff I talked about, which means I would give the second half probably around 3 stars, rounding this out to 4 stars.

Fairly solid overall, but falling short where I wish it hadn't. The second half read more like it was the action/plot stuff first, romance second, when it should be the other way around. This is a romance book first and foremost, after all.

So I'm so happy we got this last installment, and of course I'll be reading the short that lets us say goodbye, in way, to all our couples, because I have so enjoyed this series overall, and the author also said she's starting a spin-off series, so we're not saying goodbye to this world quite yet, which I'm happy about.

I still definitely recommend this, too. I just felt like the ending fell short when it didn't need to. I need more with Leo and Charlie, because I fell in love with them as a couple and wanted more.

Still a thumbs up for me, though.

This was everything I needed and I am soooo happy there’s more. I was guessing the title was about the cat and mouse between FBI and criminal. I did not see the established relationship coming. Charlie and Leo were adorable. There’s just something about the Texas cowboy and British gentleman that was so hot. So many little surprises along the way. It was nice to see Charlie being inner circle rather than outside it. The whole thing was adorable. Loved it.

What the French fried hell is this?

AEW....Whyyyyyyyy...

I mean sometimes a series can drag on... sometimes the books turn out dull & boring... These tangled mess is nothing like that
..its just bad. Its rushed & a giant soup mess. Backwards & forwards the writing swings around like yo yo at the end of a string...

Charlie isn't dead...big surprise.. considering Snook was getting calls from a mysterious "Al"...ohhh but the left field revelations don't end there... Oh no... There is this whole other relationship with Snook that reads like insta at its worst.

Psychotic ex who buries Leo in an underground house..who knows Charlie is alive but doesn't know all the other misfits..decides to get revenge. It just had to be him because no other characters were introduced. Again..suspend disbelief on how the cb radio guy was found.

Oh & Charlie is a British Earl..Leo & Charlie went on a phoneymoon when Leo got dumped at the alter ...

Carson is like Charlie part II..Eric is a shadow..Davis has been reduced to the "wallet".. Danny & Breck are still oddly close despite having other men..

Its a crap ending to the series...it started out great but the quality dropped with book.

In spite of many things

The flashback format drove me batty too.

This has to be read just as fun and silly because the premise and plot was so full of gaps and lacking in logic or logistics. I don’t mind literary license in suspense books but this was a learners permit trying to parallel park. My brain just picks up on that sort of thing, so reading it drove me crazy. I had to reread prior volumes and chapters, trying to find things I might have missed that would make sense of missing elements but didn’t find many. Hopefully your brain can leap over plot holes with alacrity and you’ll enjoy it far more. I will still happily read subsequent or spin-off volumes and probably pick them apart too.

Darn it! I wanted to love this story so much because we all could see this coming since the first book. But, God bless, does anyone use Beta readers anymore or am I just picky?! I was reading right along and then plot hole! I kept thinking I had skipped pages but no, the device for the rescue just appeared out of thin air. And then other little "what the hey"... Chinese or Italian, the grandmother's age and role in war, 120 year old silk not rotting, the little girl snatched by Josie?! The only thing that kept this from not being a one star was the couple!!

The Book I'd Been Waiting On!

If you've read even one book from this series, I know you would have been anticipating this book like I had.

I'm happy to report that it did not disappoint. I completely enjoyed it.

It had humour, heart, romance and an appropriate amount of action to tie everything together. We FINALLY got to confirm all our suspicions (at least I did) and got the full glorious back story of Shook and Charlie.

The only thing I didn't completely get into was the "Then" and "Now" format. This might be very effective storytelling for others, but wasnt the best for me who prefers a linear format. Also, there were some things that could've been better explained about a certain person's abduction, subsequent escape and how the baddie got to be there in the first place.

Nonetheless, like I said, I loved the story and thought it was a great ending for the series despite everything pointed out.

Also, The ending was the perfect set up for the Christmas novella which I believe would "truly" end the series. While I'm not usually a fan of holiday themed books, I just might read that one.

i feel like in book 1 of this series wasp was trying pretty hard to make the blackmail/action/heist premise equally important and high-stakes as the romances. by book 4 the blackmail idea had completely dissolved, and this being the origin story of the entire series, book 5 let it lie and instead gave us the goss on leo and charlie's whole deal, starting at the beginning. this was my fave of the series, it gave me a lot of tropes i love and a romance i was completely bought into from the jump. it's still only 4 stars because there definitely are some editing issues (missing words, wrong tenses, places where they meant to substitute one word for another but left both in) and when they're all in a group, some of the other guys become interchangeable in terms of how they're written and how they talk. almost like if she's not writing from inside their heads, wasp loses her grasp of what makes them distinct from each other. but it was nowhere near frequent enough or bad enough to damage my enjoyment of the book. i'm saving the holiday one for tomorrow when i'm tucked up cozy in front of the fire. :)

Guys!! I’ve been DYING for Leo’s story since we met him in the first book of this series, and WOW this does not disappoint! I fell in love with Leo and Charlie, aaaaand all the surprises along the way. Read on. You’ll see.

Leo and Charlie have a history that.. okay honestly I can’t really say anything without spoilers so how about this: this book is sexy (hot damn, these guys are fire), sweet (seriously swoony even when they are teasing each other as usual… maybe even more so) and exciting (wouldn’t be a Pros & Cons book without some serious action!) from start to finish. With this final book in the first season, Amy Wasp gives us another beautiful and sexy love story seamlessly woven with a plot that will keep you reading nonstop until the last page. And then, if you’re like me, you’re going to want even more.

If you haven’t read the beginning of this series yet, stop here! Do not pass go, do not collect $200, and definitely do not read this one until you have enjoyed the four prior. Trust me. You want the whole story here. It starts in book 1 and every story is fantastic and so much fun, so go ahead. Buy all of them. Allllll the books. Because believe me, you’ll probably finish them faster than Wesley can hack the NSA. Er, I mean.. what? He doesn’t do things like that. Nope. Never.

Such a great story from beginning to end, I really don’t want to let these guys go. I can’t wait for the Christmas novella!!

This is the book I’ve been waiting for, Leo and Charlie story! Finding out Charlie’s true history, and how Leo and Charlie fell in love. I loved how their history was dropped in tidbits with the flashback. But what I really enjoyed was their off the charts scorching chemistry. Leo is kidnapped and the boys are on the mission to rescue him. Charlie’s Angels meets Mission Impossible strikes again. This is one of the best series I’ve come across!

While I've loved all the volumes, characters, and couples in this series, this entry was definitely my favorite. The love story between Leo and Charlie was epic, with so much romance and history, and a well deserved HEA.

I wanted to take my time reading this book since it's the conclusion of this series. But I couldn't put it down, read it in one night. Who needs sleep when I can finally get the full story of Charlie and Leo. And it definitely caught me by surprise. They kept their secrets very well hidden and I fell in love with them more with each secret that was revealed. They're the perfect opposite attract couple. Charlie brings the fun Leo needs (which had me cracking up) and Leo brings the "being responsible" Charlie needs. Both bring the sizzling chemistry, so hot together. And of course it wouldn't be a Pros & Cons story without the action, suspense, and mystery. What a wild ride Leo and Charlie took me on, the twists and turns had me at the edge of my seat wanting to know what they will do next. It was a ride that I definitely loved every minute and did not want to end.

I have been looking forward to the final book of the Pros and Cons series. It was the perfect way to end this series (though we do have the Christmas edition to look forward to- yay)!

I love all these characters. Charlie and Leo are my favorites though. I loved learning about how they met and fell in love. The chemistry and passion they had for each other was palpable. The HEA made me smile and sigh in happiness. I’m so glad we get to see these characters again.

I did figure out pretty early who the bad guy was but it did not take away from my enjoyment of the story. Every moment was perfect.

I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys intrigue, humor, and romance.

When the rescue started I thought I had somehow skipped a chapter. To me, a big part was missing and I was left with a lot of questions. I really liked the intervals from the past, loved hearing how the relationship started, and it flowed more than the present parts. My favorite parts though, were when Danny and Breck appeared.

So I had heard somewhere that this was going to be the last book of the series and I was actually a bit sad by that news especially when I figured out this story was going to deal with Charlie in some way. You know I don't read blurbs, so I didn't want to know ahead of time. And boy, was I in for the surprise of my life.

I KNEW Leo and Charlie has some kind of history. I KNEW it. Or else everything about Charlie wouldn't have eaten at Leo so much. I also guessed who Al really was and partially what was going on but you'll have to read and find out for yourself. All I have to say, be ready for the ride of your life. Because it's going to take you on a major one. And I'm not going to lie, Leo's initial reaction to a situation was funny as heck and I think I would have added a few more things in for that one.

The thing with Leo, with him being a part of the group, I knew he had a back story and I knew it was going to be his turn now. Everyone else got what they needed done except him. But the depth at which his issue was, was mind-blowing. And heart wrenching. I don't blame him at all for being a bit jaded and cynical about things. And with Charlie coming back, after all the stunts he pulled, including faking his death???? I'm surprised Leo didn't kill him for real. But like with everyone else, there's a job and they have to find out what's going on. And when Charlie and Leo figure it out before everyone else, it's almost a slap in the face. Actually, it really is, considering the circumstances. And with everything that keeps popping up in places, it makes things creepier.

This was such a good story. Soooooo many twists and turns I never expected. Some I figured out along the way but I never expected this. And as for the next adventure….lol…..boy they can't stay out of trouble for anything and I can't wait to see what happened.

It all leads up to this

With everything coming to head in the previous books it was clear this was supposed to wrap everything up, and the reveal of Charlie actually being alive (which had been hinted at) made it seem that the job was just going to be finding out who had been after him. Instead it turns out the team needs to find out who has been after Charlie and Leo after Leo gets kidnapped. And most of this is twisted up in learning about Charlie and Leo's shared past.

Having this book set with flashbacks alternated by the present meant that there was a bit less focus on the job happening in the present. The job wasn't exactly traditional since they were doing things at the direction of Leo's kidnapper, but it still had some very odd things going on that we learn very little about. There is much more focus on the past and it even changes a few times about how far back in the past is important to talk about. It brings everything up and really does explain everything that occurred to lead to the events of the series, it just doesn't quite feel like it settles things for the present in some ways. There is a solid resolution of the series events though and it truly brought together the team one more time. It simply would have been interesting to get more of a sense of what all happened while they rescued Leo and of what it meant for the team. Nevertheless it was a great story and a good wrap to the series.

Eeeekkkkk!!!!!!! We finally learn all about Charlie and Leo. I’ve been waiting from the beginning of this fantastic series for this book and It. Was. AMAZING. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. We don’t just get to see Charlie and Leo now; no… we get to see Charlie and Leo from the very beginning! “I think when I’m with you, it’s the most real I’ve ever felt. I think I’m in love with you and I’m not letting you walk away from this.” It was everything I wanted for them. There are so many gushable moments but I can’t as it would spoil the discovery. I’ll just say as they fell in love so did I, again and again. Of course, I enjoyed the action, mystery and suspense, but what I adore the most about this dazzling series—and there’s nothing phoney about it—are the incredible people, from the formidable family they’ve formed to the steamy and everlasting loves they’ve found, I never want it to end. I’m so glad there’s a holiday novella in their future as I’m not ready yet to say goodbye. I guess you could say I’m obsessed. In the meantime I’ll try and distract myself with go-karts and snacks.

**3.5 star average read**

As always, love the boys of Pros & Cons with their skills and quirks. I had been dying of anticipation for Leo & Charlie's story, and perhaps that is why this fell a bit short for me.

Although I could roll with the time jumps (mostly) and the somewhat out of left field revelations, it was the style of this one that really showed the time and delay between this addition and the rest of the books in series. Both Leo and Charlie's characters change from how we view them before. While there can be some expectation of that moving from 3rd person about a character to 1st person, the differences made me feel less connected to who I already knew.

This book sets up a "Leverage"-like series where the established team now makes their debut as an official, family-like vigilante squad. While that was my dream for them, it sends this series in a different direction than the original "5 men, 5 stories" approach. This threw me off a little bit, and I felt disconnected from the rest of the series, especially when we were instantly thrown into the action.

I was also kind if disappointed by the handling of the "big bad" here. This book's premise is more personal from the beginning of our heroes' conflict, and the big bad did not reflect that as well for me. Really, they didn't even seem that big or bad even halfway through.

I enjoyed the other books a great deal but this one was a disappointment. I didn't mind jumping back and forth in time from one chapter to the next, but there were some important details in the plot that were inexplicably missing. I have no idea how a major part of Leo's rescue happened because it was just never shown.

Same thing happened with the big climax. We get the general idea of what happened during the showdown with the baddie, but then BAM! The scene ends and the next thing we see is everyone out of danger and there's an odd visit from a friend that wraps everything up...I guess? Then cue the epilogue that felt more like a plug for the Christmas book than a wrap up.

So yeah. There was a lotta bad BUT I still loved Charlie and Leo. They were sweet and smokin' hot. That said, I'll still be reading the Christmas story coming out in November and hoping for a return to the kind of clever plots and engaging writing that hooked me on this series to begin with.

This is kind of a disapointment, because this book had everything to be a 4 or even 5 stars for me, but it didn't. I loved the characters, the plot, the writing, but there were SO MANY plotholes and edit mistakes that it was impossible to me to really enjoy it.
And why is Wesley away for the last 2 books? I don’t understand. It’s like in a tv show the actor is not avalaible for the whole season so they make him appear only in screens or things like that, but this is a book. You can make him be wherever you want. Poor Danny all alone for so much time… And don’t make me start with the whole no Leo’s rescue. He’s a prisoner and suddenly he is not anymore, don't know really how. First I even thought I have missed some chapters. I felt cheated.
This book feels like a first draft that wasn’t revised or edited at all, and that’s a shame, because it had so much potential and there were so many things I loved… Anyway, I’d still recommend it.

A satisfying end to the series...or is it?

Leo and Charlie's story is finally told, and what a story it is. I love this whole series, made up of caper stories and found family. The conclusion ties up almost all the loose ends by switching back and forth in time from the present situation to the beginning.
My only criticism, and the reason I gave four stars instead of five, is that the pacing of the flashbacks was frustrating and threw me off. I would just get settled in to the action and then be sent forward or backward in time. Your mileage may vary, of course.
Still, it's a fun story and I loved finally getting the whole picture, and being back with the gang.
This really can't be read as a standalone, in my opinion, but the series is excellent so I recommend them all!

I love this series. I love Charlie. I love Leo. I love the whole gang. I love enough about this book to give it five unreserved stars. BUT….

I do wish the author had taken the time to get a couple of British beta readers to look through this before publication. Devonshire?! Devonshire 🤦‍♀️ And why would Charlie be Lord Dashcombe if his father, the Earl, was still alive? And what British person uses the word ‘fixings’ to describe food of any description? And what on earth are ‘broiled’ tomatoes? They ate them in the one and only greasy spoon caff in London that inexplicably served really horrible tea and coffee. You know, the cafe that would have gone out of business within weeks if they couldn’t make a decent cuppa and served instant coffee, of all things. Why create an English character and set key scenes in London and Devon, if you are going to get so many details wrong? I know, I know… it’s all just a bit of fun and mainly aimed at an American audience that wouldn’t even notice… but I loved all of these books and it just spoiled the grand finale a bit for me.

Ok. Rant over.

This was my favorite book so far! I love Charlie and Leo(though I don't blame him for punching Charlie in the nose when he returned from the "dead".). I loved the first meeting in the airport and I didn't find the flashbacks distracting at all. I love the crew going into action when Leo is kidnapped and was horrified to find he was in the underground house and disgusted to find out who had kidnapped him and his reason for it was so arrogant and self-centered you wanted to scream. Glad he got what he deserved. I was interested when Charlie's grandmother wanted him to help his parents and he said he would. Looking forward to the Christmas story.

I've been waiting to find out Leo's story since the very beginning, and I loved it. Learning the history between Leo and Charlie (some of which did not surprise me, but some did and I LOVED it) made me giddy, and I adored their story. I did find myself wanting a bit more description with some events that happened rather than almost having time jumps . More detail would've been lovely. Regardless, I absolutely love these characters from the entire series, and I wish we had more adventures with them. I'm glad to see there is one more book, but I wish there were more.

The one I've been waiting for

Finally the book I've been waiting for since Charlies funeral.
And since I  just re-watched Veronica Mars this quote also fits Leo and Charlie:
"An epic story, spanning years and continents. Lives ruined and bloodshed. Epic"

Love how all of the boys, Josie and Miranda has become this close, chosen family.
And the book does a great job of telling the story of Leo and Charlie while also giving them a last job together - to catch one last bad guy and survive.

Pros & Cons of Obsession

I have fallen in love with ALL of these amazing guys from this series. I was secretly hoping Leo would be Charlie’s partner and what a love story that unfolded in this book 😍 this was a truly romantic story, that had passion, tenderness, fun and so much life changing love between these two men. I really wanted more of a nasty sting for Gabe Jackson, after what he out these men through (I’d like him to get his comeuppance in jail!) anyway I’m just so pleased there’ll be another book coming soon, I can’t wait to read it 😍📚❤️
