Shark”s story…I have been waiting for it. For some reason, this character really caught my attention in the previous novels. He is the perfect example of the strong, silent type. Action starts from the opening pages and never lets up. My favorite….so far.

Logan hopped a ride on the chopper, to join his team in Afghanistan, after his mother’s funeral. He is a pro at keeping his feelings to himself, but Claire picks up a vibe from him. Could he be the one after her? What, if any, are his intentions? She is gorgeous, but it is not her looks that get Logan’s attention. He can sense the fear radiating off her. He feels the need to know more. After all, he is a protector.

His Seal team mates, and the women who love them, are his friends, his family, but there is something about Claire that draws him in. He uses his size and gruffness to create distance from people and convey a sense of menace. It doesn’t take a lot of effort on his part. It seems to come naturally.

I love how he got his nickname in school….Shark. Should I tell you? Can you guess? Hint: what do sharks do? Cruise around and…

When the helicopter went down, Claire’s badass side came out. I am impressed, and surprised, and I love it. Her and Logan are the only two who survive and neither one trusts the other. They need to figure it out…and soon. They would have to work together to survive long enough to be rescued. Logan knew his Seal team would come looking, they just had to last long enough for the team to find them.

Claire Bear…walls collapsing…feelings coming out….taking over…BUT, it’s all in or nothing with Logan. He tries to use his ‘shark face’ on her, but she can see right through it. We do have some of the back and forth angst, the push and pull, but they have only known each other for days, not weeks or years. Still, the intense situation can put things in perspective.

When Logan and his team were sitting around a scrounged up barrel that created a makeshift fire pit, I immediately thought of a Seal Team TV episode. From them on, it was easy to visualize the action, making the suspense and thrills even more intense.

Terrorists, HIM, the traitor…I don’t understand their ideology and motivations. Does HE truly believe, or does he want revenge for some slight he feels?

Shark’s story was worth the wait. AND, with Jane Blythe’s tease about Chaos coming home and finding a woman in his bed, she has me eager for the next Seal team story. This was my favorite, no bones about it.

I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of Saving Logan by Jane Blythe.

I feel like I end up saying this every book, but this was my favourite one of the series so far.
From cover to cover I was utterly transfixed, I refused to let the real world interfere until I was done.
This was this author at her best, with non stop action from start to finish, and so many red herrings you'll be continually changing your guesses of who the "bad guy" is.
This couple brought out the best in each other, and helped each other shoulder burdens both past and present that no one should have to go through.
Will they make it out of the sandbox?
Highly recommend you one click to find out. Trust me you don't want to miss this book.

I have been waiting for Shark’s, aka Logan Kirk, story as he was such an intriguing character and being the nosy person that I am, I wanted to know all about him. 😀 This book was like candy to sugar addicts, I loved it.

Logan, ah, such a dark, brooding hunk of a man who absolutely steals your heart. I will admit I did want to kick him in the behind a couple of times though. 😀 Along with his team, these characters are all full-bodied, best vintage you could find. With the story set in Afghanistan on the military base, the tension is high and the support from the whole team is almost tangible just like Shark’s has always been for everyone else too.

Claire is a psychologist who is on a mission and holy moly, does it turn out to be a deadly one at that. Right from the beginning the action starts, it hooks you right in and there is honestly never a dull moment with everything that continues to happen. One of the best things about this author is she isn’t afraid to go all in with what happens to characters if it suits, it always does. It’s always written in a well-balanced way yet you feel it to the depth of your heart just as you experience every other emotion with the characters too.

This book is excitement filled with your heart rate racing in anticipation, it is also soft and gentle, loving and sweet, a great balance and one I cannot recommend enough.

What another great read added to this series. Logan aka Shark is a new favorite Seal for me. Saving Logan has a lot of angst with the push and pull of emotions. My heart is still hurting for Claire and all that she had to endure. Logan has played a part of two in the previous books and always just seemed closed off. In his story we get the real and raw Logan and what makes the man tick.

The Seals are out on a mission and Shark is the last one to join. Little did he know that woman he had been suspicious of would soon be all he can think of. Claire does not trust easily and has a past that made me cry. But when these two are together..wow its like a magic.

Saving Logan is not an easy read because of all the emotions and graphic details. But I had to see these characters through and in the end was grateful. This story has a lot of emotion tied to it and I couldn’t ask for more.

Logan is our broody special opps Shark!! Claire is on her way to Afghanistan to help uncover a traitor when the plain there both on is shot down. She and Logan are thrown together to survive. Neither one trusts the other.

“How’s the lady?”

“Umm, the one who you spent forty-eight hours with trying to stay alive in the Afghanistan desert while you were being hunted and shot at,” Night said, looking amused.

Ms. Blythe always builds a world that is raw and gritty.

This is non stop action adventure. Some parts are extremely hard to read. So Beware!!

Saving Logan: Special Forces: Operation Alpha: Saving SEALs Book 4 is by Jane Blythe. This book is perhaps the most suspenseful of the book in the series so far. Once you being reading, you can’t quit until you find out who the traitors are and how the team will find out who he is.
Shark (Logan) is flying on a helicopter on the last leg of his journey to reunite with his team. He had stayed behind because his mother was dying and then to arrange and attend her funeral. Now he was almost with his team; but he was intrigued by one of the other members of the flight. An unusual woman is on the helicopter. He obviously wasn’t military but civilian; but in what capacity. As he watched her, he realized she was afraid of something; but not the helicopter. Just as he started to speak to her, something that was very unusual for him, the helicopter was hit and the pilot told them to prepare for a crash landing.
Of the six people on the helicopter, only two survived the crash, Shark and the lady who was Claire Barrett, a psychologist; and Logan. Claire was in Afghanistan to try to find a traitor. A patient of hers told her about a plot against the US and then committed suicide. He didn’t tell her who was involved so they had to figure that out. She has no idea who he is and thinks every man she sees is a potential suspect. First, they have to hide until help arrives.
Logan is known for his taciturn lifestyle. Now, he has to talk to a stranger to get them to safety. What’s more, he finds himself wanting to talk to Claire. He feels like he can tell her anything and that they have known each other forever.
Many other adventures are in the future for Logan and Claire before the book ends. Just as one finished, another starts. This is not a book to be missed.

Saving Logan is by far the most challenging and heartbreaking book in this series to read. It's brutal at times. Conversely it's uplifting too. Claire may be one of the most resilient, courageous characters I've ever come across. Logan's stoicism turns into outrage as the danger just keeps coming at this woman who has stolen his heart in just a few day. They both have abuse in their pasts that color all their actions and feelings in the present.

Thrown together by fate, Claire and Logan make an arduous trek in hostile territory while injured. They have avoid enemies at every turn while awaiting rescue. Although they make it back to base where she should be safe, Claire's life is still endangered from an unknown enemy/traitor. Subjected to torture and brutality after being kidnapping her mental toughness and refusal to break shine through. Logan, his team and Wolf's SEAL team leave no stone unturned in their quest to find Claire and bring her home. Although the mission is a success will this couple be able to overcome all the trauma they've suffered to get to their HEA?

Consulting psychologist Clare Barrett and SEAL Logan ‘Shark’ Kirk seem to be the only survivors after their helicopter was shot down. Clare’s afraid and distrustful of men and touch, Logan causes Clare’s spine to tingle but the choice of trying for safety with him is out of her hands when armed Afghani soldiers come to search the wreckage.

Travelling with Logan across A-stan to reach the base, Clare wonders if the armed soldiers were there for her and suspects Logan of working with them to keep her from talking to the base commander about her dead patient. Clare’s unease toward Logan eases when she notes his protective instinct8 after he guesses her trauma. So had the attraction they shared.

Rescued by the team after two days of hiding in caves, surviving on his emergency pack supplies, Clare and Logan are convinced the other used them for convenience when CIA, NSA and the base commander question them. Treated and released at the hospital, Clare receives a threat slipped under her door. Trying to tell Logan about it, he brushes her off.

loved it.

This series just ticks all the boxes

Claire is one of two survivors of a helicopter crash. Claire has been brought to Afghanistan to indenting a traitor to the US. Logan is meeting his team and catches a ride on the same helicopter.
Between the two of them they have to rely on each other to get out of the Afghan mountains.
After getting back to base the work starts on finding exactly who the traitor is and can they both do that and admit their feelings for each other?

Well this was a total story of miscommunication between the two of them. It just shows the importance of talking. They caused themselves anguish because they didn’t come out say what they were feeling.
Logan was awesome and Claire was a badass. I’m glad they eventually got their heads out their backsides and got their HEA

Forged through adversity

Logan/Shark and Claire. A rough introduction but almost immediate trust in the face of adversity. Non stop action and violence lead to a strong bond with romantic feelings. Shark is with his team for a rotation but Claire is on base trying to help find a traitor and is in danger. The scenes are violent and graphic. Trigger warnings for assault, violence, torture and rape. Claire shows incredible grit and her character is well developed to demonstrate her reasons for caring, tenacity and her love. Logan is finally explained in more depth and I loved his depth of emotion and how he handled owning his mistakes. A quick read with some heartbreaking aspects and some very beautiful sweet moments. Loved seeing Wolf and the others show up and the introduction of therapy dogs!

Oh goodness, I think this story broke me!
This is Logan aka Shark's story, but it's more about Claire. What strength she has, she saved him first then he saved her and throughout this story they worked together. There was a connection, but with her baggage could she be interested.
I was so invested in this story and the characters, both these 2 and their teams and the original Stoker team made an appearance too.
Claire went through so much physically and Shark, well I wanted to smack him for jumping to conclusions, could he ever be ready to trust and depend on someone?
My heart ached, my tears flowed....wow such a wonderful story, well done to Jane Blythe.
I highly recommend this series and the Special forces world.

I really loved Claire and Logan’s story. Claire is on a mission to uncover a traitor and she finds herself on a helicopter with Logan on their way to Afghanistan when everything goes completely wrong. They are running for their lives, Claire’s life is in danger due to the information she has and someone wants her gone. This relationship happens fast, and neither can believe the feelings, each with concerns, misunderstandings, and miscommunication add to their problems. When Claire turns up missing all Logan wants is to find her to set everything right before it’s too late. Another amazing addition to the series and can’t wait for more.

Lets begin by saying Logan is hot, hot, hot. He can rescue me anytime. I'm so excited that Logan found someone that brought him to his knees, fell in love do anything for kind of love. They both rescued each other in this story from not only the present tragedies but from their past as well. All though I really wanted to hurt both of them on more than one occasion. You had Claire that know matter what she persevered through any tragedy, never giving up and than you had Logan that was one alpha hottie that would go to hell and back for the ones he loved. This story was one of my favorites but I also love them all. Fantastic series and I recommend them all.

This book is perhaps the most suspenseful of the books of the whole series. Once you start reading, you can’t quit until you find out who the traitors are and how the team will find out who he is. Although I have to admit that this book reminded me of another book I read but for the life of me can’t remember. This story is an action packed suspense filled romance story that will have you on the edge of your seats. There are so many twists and turns to this story you will be riveted until the very last page. This story was emotional, but with non stop action and suspense. I am glad that I read it!

OMG

What a ride!!
This beautiful spellbinding story of Owen and Claire will have you on the edge of your seat. It's packed to the rafters with emotional conflict. Owen and Claire have bothered suffered insurmountable pain. Finding each other and in turn the other half of their soul was so outstandingly beautiful it deserves every single year I cried.
Once again Janie Blythe has gone that extra mile to open up the door and allow you to sink into a magical world written with obvious love and talent.
A heartwrenching, heartwarming, beautiful story that will walk into your heart and take permanent residence.
5 stars just doesn't seem enough to do this story justicd

I am a huge Jane Blythe fan and this would have to be my favourite series. What an adventure for Logan and Claire. Every way we turned there was so much drama and suspense and Logan and Claire had so much chemistry. I devoured this book, like all the others, and I wanted so much more of these great characters and this amazing story. From the moment I read the first page the action started and did not end until the very last page. Ms Blythe certainly knows how to draw you in while keeping you on your toes with this story and the plot twists that just kept on coming. I was anticipating this book and I was not disappointed at all. This entire series is a must read.

I received an arc copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Couldn't put it down!

I loved this story! Very action packed and intense, yet sweet & spicy at times. One thing I liked is that it went away from the "she's out of danger so we let our guard down and she got kidnapped again".. this time they knew she was in danger but she gets swiped right out from under their noses and it had more info and detail about the abduction and what she (or they, rather) went thru before being rescued. Hopefully that makes sense and that I worded it correctly lol

Dark, twisted and action packed, hold on to your seats because this one is nonstop from the very beginning. Logan is the strong, handsome, reliable, quiet type while Claire is strong willed, independent and slightly damaged, a combination that is tested when they are thrown together in a dangerous situation. They need each other but can they trust each other enough to survive? Loved this addition to the series. I found it darker then the others but absolutely devoured every page!

Logan is special ops known as shark for the way he's fierce about protecting everyone he can.
Claire is desperate to get to the military base to help solve the problems and find what Raymond had meant on his last session with her.
She's no idea who she can trust but an unexpected problem throws the two of them together.

Logan and Claire’s story was a nail biter, but in the best possible way! Jane did an outstanding job of keeping me guessing until the very end and I couldn’t be happier with how it all unfolded. Nail biting suspense, true heartfelt emotions, and plenty of action to keep you hooked. An amazing read! Highly recommended

Excellent

Logan was on his way back to his team from his moms funeral. Claire was on the same helicopter. The helicopter was shot down. Logan learned Claire was a psychologist. One of Clairs patients told her about a terrorist attack before he killed himself. Claire is such a strong woman. Loved this book.

so good

This was an incredible story. Parts are difficult and are for mature readers. I cried a lot thru this as our girl in this story goes thru so much but I’m so proud of how strong she is.
Logan is my dream book boyfriend and is the perfect match for Claire.
This book was hard to put down and is definitely a MUST READ

Good book. Very interesting plot line, but not well developed. It seemed like a bit of a mess towards the end. Lots of different characters being introduced along with addition threads of the plot. I did like Logan and Claire, though.

Looking forward to the next one.

What a strong emotional story

Starting with a helicopter crash in the Afghanistan desert, searching for a terrorist, kidnapping, beatings, torture... Logan and his team have their work cut out for them. This IS a love story, but a nail biter.

Love shows up in many ways

Logan and Claire had a rough start. But love showed up and they both mustard threw. Didn't like the bad stuff you write about , but your way of writing made it a lot more interesting . job very well done.
