About the author

Grace Dacanay-Chong as a little girl loved listening to stories told by her grandmother. At age five, she began writing short stories. After 20 years of doing TV/radio commercials and print ads as Creative Director/Executive Vice-President in a multinational advertising agency, she decided to write full time. Today, she has written over 20 books. Three of her children's books have won first prize in the Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature, and one was nominated in the National Book Awards.

Gusto ko ang twist na hindi underdog ang lumaban sa bully kundi isang bully din. Maganda ang mga pangaral sa kuwento na kahit pinagtatanggol mo ang isang tao, pambubully pa rin ang ginagawa mo. Bahagi ang kuwento ng Christian series ng Hiyas na "Happy Home". Pangatlo siya sa series, hindi ko nabasa ang unang dalawa kaya medyo na-disorient ako sa history ng ibang characters at kung saan sila nanggaling. May Filipino and English translations sa text at sa dulo ay may mga quotes galing sa Bible. Mayroon ding mga follow-up questions tungkol sa bullying na puwedeng gamitin ng bata at storyteller for reflection.
