this album is one of the best albums to date. levanter is a lyrical masterpiece, the photocards that come with it is absolutely ethereal the limited lenticulars are very beautiful. the title track shows a new side to stray kids and is one of their best ones ever, i am a levanter defender and she deserves SO MUCH MORE. i cry every single time listening to astronaut because IT IS SUCH A COMFORT SONG. anyways new stays listen to this album, stray kids discography never ever MISS.
First things first, I like how the limited (at least the Cle series) have a cover. This feels like soft vinyl. I have Seungmin's member page and that photo is truly a work of art; I like the fashion choices, expression and also the blurred edges and the quote "I wanna be myself". The first photoshoot uses very bright fashion yet still a bit edgy with distressed and cropped pieces. The neck ribbons, ties and scarves stand out. The colour co-ordination especially for Chan and I.N was great for the unit shoots. I like how some lyrics are flying over the pages; very in theme with levanter and the colour choices of navy blue, white and mustard are stylistic. In fact the photoshoot is characterised by those colours (mustard way less) and pastels blue and purple and pink. The first photoshoot took place in a field.
The second photoshoot took place in an open space as well but in with wooden buildings. I liked the photos especially with the wooden backgrounds; they add a lot of texture. The fashion this time in contrast was solely black and white. Hyunjin's fluffy hair! Han's belted cap! IN's pink hair is cute. The individual shots with dry grass as background were very artistic. Chan's individual shot is very captivating. Seungmin's neck scarf and whole outfit is iconic. IN's hair kind of blends in the background in the individual shot.
The third photoshoot is the city version. Some of them changed hairstyles and colours. In this photoshoot some of the photos are oversaturated in my opinion.
