What a collection of fun, flirty, romantic holiday cause! Many tie into their authors’ existing series, but all stand well alone.
Serena Bell’s, Kilby Blades’, and Kameron Claire’s stories are among the standouts in this fantastic set!
WILDER FOR THE WIN by Serena Bell ////. Wilder Adventures 2.5
Amanda Kenning, née Wilder, is trying to seduce Heath Kenning, aka her lawfully wedded husband. She’s hoping the much anticipated Tinsel and Tatas Gala might be just the night to stage said seduction.
Serena Bell writes this reconnection story beautifully, and we thrill to see Heath and Amanda recapture some of the passion that’s drained out of their marriage, and work together to find ways to stop that from continuing. A terrific addition to the Wilder Adventures series that also stands well alone.
LAST ONE GETS THE BOOBY PRIZE by Kilby Blades //// Hot in the Kitchen story
Cella Dawes and Max Piccarelli volunteer their time and efforts for the Tinsel and Tatas Gala, and the commitment turns out to be an even bigger project than this couple imagined. A lovely slice of life story that I read and enjoyed as a stand-alone.
TATTOOED TATAS by Kameron Claire //// Maddox and Archer meet at the Tinsel and Tatas Gala, as Archer’s sister Annie is one of Maddox’s clients and friends. They feel almost as if they already know each other, through their loved ones’ connection. A sweet, hot insta-love…
MIXING MERRYMAS by Dylan Crush /// A Whiskey Wars short story
Grace and Arlo meet by chance when Grace returns to Beaver Bluff, Tennessee to support her sister Charity in a fundraiser honoring their late mother. Arlo provides a timely rescue, and Arlo, Grace, and a homely canine she’s entrusted with named Cootchie get ready for some festive holiday fun.
A TRIVIA PURSUIT by Hope Ellis ///. A Barflies short story
Adam Petridis and Bria Marie Larson have been BFFs forever… and they’ve been quietly crushing on the other for just about as long. The Tinsel and Tatas Gala events prompt Adam to act and be bold. He has high hopes that with the help of some good friends this night will mark a new beginning for Bria and him.
A terrific trivia night scene!
TWO NIGHTS TO BELIEVE by Melonie Johnson /// A Too Good to Be Real short story
Penelope and Jay are coworkers and engaged to be married. When they’re tasked with throwing together a gala of epic proportions in two days, they’ll need a Christmas miracle. And what is Christmas after all but a time for those?
Two Nights to Believe is a cute interlude in Pen and Jay’s happier ever after.
TITS THE SEASON by Tawdra Kandle ///. A Year of Love in a Small Town short story
Ty Hollins and Celeste Barrett shared one memorable night, but life took them in different directions. A decade later, Ty agrees to return to town for a benefit concert as part of the fundraising festivities Celeste is planning. A cute second-chance story!
DECIDEDLY WITH TINSEL by Stina Lindenblatt ///. A By the Bay short story
Drew Chapman and Juliette Rogers want to be partnered up for the Tinsel and Tatas festivities about as much as they’d volunteer for a root canal, but when their boss assigns them to get in there and win, they’ve little choice but to do their best, enemies-vibe aside.
They were once BFFs, but that changed around the same time their families moved away from each other. Teaming up reawakens all kinds of not-so-deeply buried feelings.
Stina Lindenblatt’s story is entertaining and flirty fun.
THE GREAT CHRISTMAS RACE by Elizabeth Lynx ///.
Frankie Dior is NOT drooling over Sebastian Moldovan, her insanely hot boss. She is NOT trying to sabotage him in the company holiday contests so that she can knock him off her mental pedestal. In return, Sebastian is not secretly drooling over her competence or hot bod. Totally.
Elizabeth Lynx writes a funny holiday story complete with hot cocoa shenanigans and some secrets!
ALL I WANT IS YOU by Claire Marti ///. A Pacific Vista Ranch short story
Jenny Ericsson and Tyler Reyes shared one scorching night. When they are partnered up for the Tinsel and Tatas Gala and events, it must be fate, right? Ty plans to make the most of this second chance…
A terrific story that stands alone well.
WREATH THIS RING by MK Meredith ///.
Charlamagne Woods, Charlie to her friends, and Giovanni Bonamici enjoy a hot night, but when they’re partnered up for the wreath contest for the Tinsel and Tatas Gala and events, Gio is hoping to parlay that into more.
A lovely story about family and loss and loving and living.
STAR BRIGHT by Susannah Nix //// A Starstruck short story
Kimberleigh Cress and Spencer Devlin aren’t exactly BFFs. One might even consider them enemies of sorts, after a truly terrible on-air interview reporter Spencer did with actress Kimberleigh a year ago.
Susannah Nix does a lovely job of allowing these two to lower that wall between them and find not just common ground but a simmering passion for the other. Their full story will be available in the expanded Star Bright.
TA TA TO HEARTBREAK by Tracy Pedersen ///
Drake Sheen and Samantha Cox are on the verge of divorce but maybe a holiday miracle can help them rediscover their hearts and priorities.
A charming reunion/second chance story.
PRETTY PACKAGES by Marika Ray ///. A Jobs from Hell short story
James and Liv are thrown together when his boss, aka Liv’s unconventional grandmother, asks him to play tour guide and show Liv around town. They hit it off, and the rest as they say, is history.
A charming small-town instalove!
ROCK, PAPER, SANTA by Piper Rayne //// A White Collar Brothers short story
The uber-competitive Mancini brothers celebrate the Tinsel and Tatas events with laughs, love, and an “I will bury you” mentality. Dominic and Valentina, Enzo and Annie, and Carm and Bella have a great time, and so do we, in this fun little short!
TINSEL BOMB by Arell Rivers // A Sins of the Fathers short story
Xander Turner and his family are in for quite the evening at this gala event. Prequel for Ms Rivers’ Sins of the Father series. No HEA.
A BRIT UNDER THE MISTLETOE by Brenda St John Brown /// A Calder Castle short story
Oliver Wentworth the third and Gemma Scott are friends, and a fake date situation might give them just the push they need to make it out of the friend zone…. Maybe with a little help from their friends.
BOOBY TRAPPED by Sylvie Stewart //// A Love on Tap short story
Rylee McAvoy and Dean Harrison have been game winning buddies for years. Dean’s older sister Darcy has been Rylee’s best friend since they were kids, and Dean and Rylee connected over their ultra competitive game-winning shenanigans. This year’s Tinsel and Tatas festivities might be just the thing to see that they might be winning at something a little more personal as well.
A delicious little sister’s best friend story!
This is a collection you shouldn’t miss! Make sure to get reading and into the holiday spirit!
This was a short story to acknowledge Young Survivor Coalition and breast cancer and it was exactly what I needed.
Elizabeth Lynx has this way of writing romantic comedy that is so her. The story was light, a little crazy and even goofy sometimes but in an adorable and funny way. It was also sexy and hot. It's incredible what this author can do no matter how many pages she writes. Sebastian was such a good guy (a little too good, much to Frankie dismay), and I'm crazy for the good guys. It was impossible not to love him. Frankie was a little insane, but she was also sweet and funny.
It was such an easy and fast read, that left me wanting more. I do hope this author writes more about Sebastian and Frankie, because this story was such a tease.
Get your jingle bells ready because 18 top-rated romance authors are teaming up to support breast cancer month. Each romantic comedy is short in length but not in substance. All proceeds go to Young Survival Coalition which aims to help women under forty diagnosed with breast cancer. All these women deserve our support.
Let’s get right to my favorite stories, shall we?
Wilder for the Win – Serena Bell brings us a couple who’s trying to spice up their married lives. I connected with the couple and loved this sneak peek into their lives, both in and out of the bedroom. Well written with plenty of humorous lines. I’ll be checking out more from this author.
Tattooed Tatas – Kameron Claire full-on made me bawl in this one. A tattoo artist who helps breast cancer survivors. This story has all the feels, including a fun romance. There’s a definite ‘women rock’ vibe and I was fist-pumping the whole time reading it.
A Trivia Pursuit – Hope Ellis takes trivia and makes it sexy. The couple is very appealing, and I loved the hero so much. I totally smiled while reading this story. The characters leap from the page and the emotional tension is spot-on. I have to go read everything Hope Ellis has written now.
All I Want is You – Claire Marti is one of my favorite authors of all time. She’s a masterful storyteller with enriched characters who burrow their way into your heart. This story is a second-chance romance with plenty of awkward moments. The chemistry is off the charts. Another brilliant romance with all the feels. The best part is the setting: on a beach in sunny California.
Don’t take my word for it. Grab your copy of this limited-edition anthology and support a wonderful charity. Highly recommend!
I really love Brenda St John Brown and the Calder Castle series and this short story didn't disappoint.
You will fall in love with Gemma and Oliver. With the spirit of the Christmas Dash and the stars aligning these two finally get on the same page for some Christmas magic.
Get comfortable when you read this book plus a heap of other amazing stories by some fantastic authors who have done this for an amazing cause - Young Survival Coalition - which is a breast cancer charity.
At the time of writing this review there is only 15 Saturday left until Christmas so what a wonderful way to start the count down to Christmas.
A Brit under the Mistletoe is a five star read but the whole book is a four star read - loved it!
I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book from Brenda St John Brown for an honest review.
These authors charmed and delighted me with their offbeat senses of humor last year. I’m tickled pink to report that they’ve done it again. They kept me laughing, they kept me sighing, and in a few cases they nearly had me crying. The stories in this anthology covered the spectrum of romantic comedy themes, including best friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, sibling’s best friend, second chances. It certainly hit on all my favorites. There were side stories in worlds I already know and love. There’s the continuation of stories I didn’t know I needed more about. There’s even the kickoff to brand new series in between these covers. Really, it doesn’t matter what you’re in the mood for, so long as you’re prepared to laugh, this book has it all. And I’m already praying to every higher power known to (wo)man that we get to come back and do it again next year. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the authors.
100% of proceeds will benefit the Breast Survival Coalition. The organization supports women under the age of 40 who are diagnosed with breast cancer.
Drew from Decidedly with Baby finally gets his HEA in "Decidedly with Tinsel". The short story is part of the Tinsel and Tatas anthology. Here's a sneak peek!
I licked the side of my whipped cream and moaned, “God, this is soooo good.” Drew didn’t say anything; he was too busy staring at my lips.
My eyes suddenly became preoccupied with his mouth, while fantasies of kissing him waltzed through my head.
No, no, no. I was so not going there again. The thirteen-year-old who had once crushed on him had long since left the building.
This is Drew. Remember? The crusher of dreams? Does any of this sound familiar?
Drew’s mouth curved into another smile. He reached up and wiped the end of my nose. An electrical current spiraled through my body at his touch, sending a rush of adrenaline into overdrive. My heart rate quickened, my body tingled, and the ache between my legs came out of hibernation.
“You had cream there.”
Oh, he wasn’t staring at my lips after all.
*** You can get the story in Tinsel and Tatas, a charity anthology that benefits young women with breast cancer.
100% of proceeds will benefit the Breast Survival Coalition. The organization supports women under the age of 40 who are diagnosed with breast cancer.
A lovely anthology of eighteen short stories, delightful rom-coms that will make you smile & all in a good cause too. I particularly liked Two Nights to Believe by Melonie Johnson, which takes place the Christmas following Too Good to be Real & focuses on Pen & Jay. Of curse Mrs Weatherfork features & has given them two days to organise a fund raising event for cancer. There are corgis, the weather turning mild & Pen finally voicing her fears. A light hearted read that made me smile & laugh but also empathise with Pen. These short stories are perfect for dipping into when there’s an hour or so to spare plus I get to meet some new authors My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
With so many of my favorite authors on board, my expectations were very high for this charity-inspired collection, and I'm happy to say that they were exceeded on every level. Each story is its own standalone, usually set within that author's established book world, and each one focuses on the local community's contribution to the Tinsel and Tatas fundraising efforts on behalf of the Young Survivor Coalition. At least one of the characters in each story has a personal connection to the fight against breast cancer, which makes this story feel relevant and personal even for readers who may not know anyone affected.
My favorite was Serena Bell's "Wilder for the Win." I've been on every Wilder Adventure so far and I absolutely adored reading about Amanda's story with her husband, Heath, and how they breathe new life into their busy marriage.
"Tattooed Tatas" by Kameron Claire brought new life to the opposites-attract trope with Archer and Maddox as a seemingly mismatched couple who are perfect for each other in every way. Maddox is an inspirational character, and I loved reading about how she uses her artistic skills to help mastectomy survivors find the beauty in their scars.
I loved the twist on the Trivia Night game in "A Trivia Pursuit" by Hope Ellis. Adam and Bria bring a nerdy sexiness to the table and I adored the grand gesture that finally set them on the right path.
"Tits the Season" by Tawdra Kandle was a swoony, sexy, second-chance story with Celeste and Ty, ten years after their almost-start that got derailed by life. The emotions run strong in this one, and it's hard not to mourn the needlessly lost years between them. The short format necessitated a more direct approach to their misunderstandings from before, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who fell in love with Ty right from the start.
These are just a few of my favorites. With eighteen stories on board, I'm certain you'll find more than a few favorites as well. There's plenty of holiday spirit to satisfy any Christmas-romance junkie, and it was refreshing to see everyone having so much fun while raising awareness (and funds) for such an important cause.
I'm sure there will be many holiday-themed anthologies this year (as usual) but this one is an absolute must-buy that should be on everyone's wish list. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

It’s never too early to feel great or to get into the holiday mood. That feel good feeling can translate in all kinds of ways. That’s exactly what happens in this wonderful collection of stories. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. First; there’s really good stories second; by donating 100% of the proceeds to the Young Survivor Coalition.
As a two time Breast Cancer Survivor (I’m currently in treatment) I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this collection. One story I really enjoyed is Marika Ray’s, Pretty Packages. She takes us back to the town of Hell (which is hilarious by itself) and we are reacquainted with some of our favorite characters. We are also introduced to new ones,Olivia has her own touching story and James, who is sometimes living his own personal hell shows us there’s more sides to see than what’s on the surface. This story will touch you on so many levels. You may even learn things you never knew. I did and I thought because of my situation I knew it all. Guess what I don’t. So grab this collection and start to feel really good knowing that not only are you getting lovely stories but you’re learning and helping others!
All I Want Is You by Claire Marti Jenny is participating in a Tinsel & Tatas tournament fundraiser for cancer, and her mom. She gets paired up with Ty, who just so happens to be the same guy she had a sexy 24 hour Las Vegas encounter with. Ty got spooked with their 24 hours of sexy times, and left without having any contact information from her. So, he is extremely excited to find her again, she not as much, the hurt at his abruptly leaving is still very fresh. Safe read, these two get their second chance. I would have loved to see an epilogue, but we do get a hfn. This was my first book by this author, and it was a cute read.
Pretty Packages by Marika Ray I flipping loved this story so much, these two were everything. James is set to show Liz around, the surprise granddaughter of his handful of a boss, and ends up finding his "the one". Everybody wants a James…they just don’t know it yet. He is absolutely adorable, just like she said, hot with a side of puppy…and we all love puppies. I’m pretty sure that he is so great, if you don’t like him, then it’s you. Actually, they both were pretty awkwardly adorable, which made me adore them even more. They just made my heart happy. Safe read, with two of the sweetest characters. I loved this storyline, so sweet and heartfelt. This will definitely be a feel good re-read for me. And actually, this is part of a series, so…planning on trying to read the series too. First book by this author, but I definitely want more.
Tattooed Tatas by Kameron Claire Maddox is a tattoo artist that transforms mastectomy scars into beautiful works of art, all while being a close friend with each of these people. Archer is the brother of Annie, who is one of the people Maddox had helped. So when Archer finally meets Maddox at the Tinsel and Tatas art and fashion show, these two are pretty much inseparable, and stay that way. I loved this storyline so much, great writing, fantastic characters. Safe read, with two of my favorite characters. They’re opposite, but not if that makes sense. A sweet epilogue, and hea. This was my first book by this author, but definitely won’t be my last, I loved everything about this story.
This anthology is so much fun and I found myself loving each one and wanting more. Revisiting some favorite places and characters too, like Auburn Hill Pretty Packages, makes it a great way to pass time. That town always has me in tears of laughter. Plus finding some new stories by other authors I enjoy. Each and everyone will bring a smile and some laughter, maybe even some heat that will leave you needing a cool shower. Some even leave you, like Tinsel Bomb, jaw dropped and needing to know what happens next. Make sure you pick this up for some terrific reads. It’s for a good cause too!!
There were a few wonderful stories in this anthology (my favourites by Serena Bell, Kameron Claire and Hope Ellis which would all get 4 - 5 stars), however the vast majority sadly weren't that great and there was some pretty awful writing and cringeworthy stories as well. So I think 3 stars is about the right rating for this book of short stories.
Tinsel and Tatas This is a simply fabulous holiday romantic comedy anthology that you will not want to miss out on. The Christmas spirit is high along with the laughs and naughtiness along the way. With this anthology 100% of proceeds will benefit the Young Survivor Coalition. So go support a good cause and enjoy some holiday spirit with a mix of the naughty, nice and all those laugh out loud moments while meeting a few new to you authors along the way.
***The Great Christmas Race by Elizabeth Lynx The Great Christmas Race is fantastic. I loved every moment of this one. Elizabeth Lynx gives us a mix of the office romance, suspense, the sexy and the sweet all wrapped up in one holiday race for a good cause. I loved Frankie and Sebastian so much. They have red hot chemistry and make a great team as they try to win the race. Frankie is a hoot and tries her hardest. Sebastian is a man of mystery that you want to know more of. I could not get enough of this one.
Wilder For The Win by Serena Bell I loved this one. It is the perfect start to this anthology. You will just love Amanda and Heath as they bring the sexy back to their marriage. You have ugly Christmas sweater, naughty toys, outdoor fun, cute family moments and a gala for a good cause. You have so many amazing moments wrapped up in this little quickie that you are going to love. I for one cannot wait to dive into more Wilder Adventures after this one and getting to know the family more
Last One Gets The Booby Prize by Kilby Blades This is a cute read. I loved Max and Cella. They had high hopes getting a little bit of rest while supplying all the food for the gala and well lets just say curling and boobies. This has cute reconnecting moments and a couple of giggles along the way that you will not want to miss out on. Just wait until you meet Max and Cella.
Tattooed Tatas by Kameron Claire Archer and Maddox are a amazingly cute. I love that Maddox is this fabulous scar tattoo artist. She is talented and loves making breast cancer survivors come out of their shell again. Archer is an artist, art dealer gallery owner who is in awe of the women that helped his sister. They have this instant connection that will put a smile on your face. I really enjoyed this one.
Mixing Merrymas by Dylann Crush This is a such a cute read. You get this cute dog and a lovely couple out of it. Grace and her Cootchie are an adorable duo. Arlo is that ever loveable bartender. You throw in the gala and a whiskey mixing competition and you are in for a treat. Grace and Arlo have this instant connection you are going to love and it will leave you smiling until the end.
A Trivia Pursuit by Hope Ellis The love of trivia is strong in this one especially for a good cause. I love the relationship between Bria and Adam. You feel the pull between them in this quick read. You understand why Bria was hesitant to be more then friends. I love Adam's way of breaking down the Bria's walls and so will you as trivia night as part of the Tinsel and Tatas event kicks off. This is a cute read that will make you smile as love is found.
Two Nights To Believe by Melonie Johnson This is such a heartwarming read. I love seeing Pen and Jay again along with Mrs. W and her adorable corgi's. If you haven't had a chance to meet them yet from Too Good to Be Real don't worry this one will give you everything you need to know in this short read. I love how Pen and Jay pull off the on the fly moments of the Tinsel and Tatas event that Mrs. W wants to through so beautifully. This one is full of all those wonderful moments that you will just love.
Tits The Season by Tawdra Kandle Cute second chance brother best friend read. Ty and Celeste are wonderful. I love how Celeste is so involved in the weekend of festivities. She has had a crush on Ty since they were kids. You feel for them and their miss timing hookup in the past. Ty is fabulous and I love how he throws himself into everything just to spend more time with Celeste. You feel the chemistry and pull between them. This is such a sweet cute read all surrounding Tinsel and Tatas.
Decidedly With Tinsel by Stina Lindenblatt Love this one so much. It has that mix of sweet with the whole frenemies too. Juliette and Drew childhood friends turn enemies and such a lovely pair they are. You will love the competition of the weekend events that bring these two to another level. Juliette and Drew are lovely and I want more of them.
All I Want is You by Claire Marti All I Want is You is a wonderful read. It is a second chance meet for Jenny and Tyler as the team up for their beach battle. I love how we get little sparks as this one goes on and their is such a lovely connection between Jenny and Tyler. Jenny wants nothing more then win the games for her mom a breast cancer survivor and Tyler wants nothing more then to see if Vegas was a real deal. I loved this couple so much.
Wreath This Ring by MK Meredith Wreath This Ring may bring a tear or two to your eyes. This is Charlie and Gio's friendly town competition with making wreaths to go to a good cause not only for tinsel and tatas but for bust of advertisement for the town businesses too. Charlie is running from life and she believes she has good reason to. Gio is a fabulous Italian chief who knows a good thing when he sees it. I love their chemistry and connection. Such a fabulous read.
Star Bright by Susannah Nix This is such a wonderful second chance romance. If you love those actor and actresses romances along with those thrown together for second chance then you are going to love this one. Sam and Drake are fabulous. I love how they are locked together and work together for their contest and gala. They are hot moments as well as giggle moments that will have you falling in love with them as they come back together. I loved this one.
Pretty Packages by Marika Ray You are going to love this small town meddling grandma read. All for a good cause as James and Liv team up. You are going to just love Poppy and her ways. I love these anthologies! Reviews to follow as I finish each story :)
Wilder for the Win by Serena Bell (Wilder Adventures)
Amanda's story (the lone Wilder sister)--a relationship (maybe) in trouble story. Amanda and Heath's marriage seems to have gone...stale. Is it just a side effect of having 3 kids under 10, or is there something truly wrong?
LOVED this one. Rachel had a mini-breakdown while at a sex toy party in an earlier series book, so it was lovely to see her and Heath works things out in a verrrry sexy (and perfectly Wilder) way. Perfect as an intro to the series if you haven't read any yet, but even better if your heart broke a little in Walk on the Wilder Side when Amanda revealed her woes.
Rating: 4 1/2stars / A
Last One Gets the Booby Prize by Kilby Blades (Hot in the Kitchen)
Also featuring a married couple, this one is more of a "we're doing ok but OMG this not-a-vacation event might kill us" kind of story.
Max and Cella don't mind lending their talents--and cash--to help out a good cause, but they continually find out they've committed themselves to more than they realized here. This one was both funny and touching, and had a really sweet ending. It'll inspire this reader to look into more from the series and author!
A sexy first date turns into an emotional epilogue in this short story romance between a tattoo artist and the brother of one of her favorite clients/friends, a breast cancer survivor whose scars Maddox has made beautiful.
There's really no doubt that these two will end up together, but it's a sweet and sexy trip to their HEA.
A cute and sexy short story prequel to Dylann's newest series, this one leaves you wanting to know more about what's really behind the "Whiskey Wars" in Arlo and Grace's small town.
Not to mention you might hope to catch a glimpse of Arlo, Grace, and Cootchie (no, not a typo... I'm gonna let you find out who that is) in future books.
A friends-to-lovers story with a trivia challenge-themed public declaration! Cute with a side of steam.

Two Nights to Believe by Melonie Johnson (Too Good to Be Real)
Penelope and Jay started out as friends and coworkers and became something else during the first series novel, Too Good to Be Real. Now they're engaged, but a busy holiday season, an important (and stressful!) last minute charity event, and constant reminders of an earlier health scare have Pen feeling a bit...off. Can Jay help her to find the magic of the season--and of their relationship--again?
Spoiler alert: he gets an assist from a few furry accomplices...and it's adorable!
Rating: 4 1/2 stars / A
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
First of all, I need to mention that this book is huge! Sometimes anthologies are kind of scant and each story feels way too rushed. But TINSEL AND TATAS is over 900 pages and each short story felt like the perfect length to me. Loved that!
Because of the length of the entire book I read 5 shorts to base my review on. One thing I really loved was that each story has a small blurb at the beginning so you know exactly what Trope you're getting. I chose the 5 that sounded best for my reading taste!
TATTOOED TATAS By: Kameron Claire Trope: Opposites Attract Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Steam: NC-17 Review: This was a fun romance with a straight-laced businessman and a tattooed and pierced heroine. This story had mild BDSM vibes.
THE GREAT CHRISTMAS RACE By: Elizabeth Lynx Trope: Boss/Employee Rating: ⭐️⭐️💫 Steam: NC-17 Review: This wasn't great for me. The story was wildly improbable and felt really rushed. Mild BDSM vibes.
A TRIVIA PURSUIT By: Hope Ellis Trope: Friends-to-Lovers Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Steam: R Review: I really liked this story! It was so sweet and I loved the characters and their friends.
STAR BRIGHT By: Susannah Nix Trope: Enemies to Lovers Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Steam: R Review: My favorite of the stories. There was sone serious jerk redemption and mental health representation along with a great couple and serious steam.
ALL I WANT IS YOU By: Claire Marti Trope: One Night Stand Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Steam: PG-13 Review: This was a lighter story with a fun charity competition aspect and a really likable couple.
This anthology seems like a sure bet to purchase. There are enough different tropes, steam levels, and styles to fit any reader AND 100% of the profits go to charity! I definitely recommend picking this one up!
So far I've only read Rock, Paper, Santa by Piper Rayne, as I was lucky enough to receive an arc, but I can't wait to read more stories in the Tinsel and Tatas: A Holiday Romantic Comedy Anthology. This will be perfect to "snack" on with the holiday season rapidly approaching!
It was great to be back with the Mancini brothers, their wives, and families- Piper Rayne definitely packed a lot of fun and emotion into this story. I wasn't expecting all the feels I'd get from Enzo! I'm glad it focused on all three of the brothers- I loved seeing how their families have grown, and that for all they way things have changed, the "boys" are still the same. Leave it to Dom, Enzo, and Carm to make even a fun run for charity into something competitive!
Tinsel and Tatas is a wonderful collection Romantic Comedy storys. I love that this book is going to benefit a great cause, the Young Survival Coalition for Breast Cancer. They're a plenty of great stories to read and I pick it up to read Serena Bell's Story Wilder for the Win. I love this series of books, so I wanted to get a little more. A beautiful story of rekindling love after kids and life get in the way. I love that this book is going to benefit a great cause, the Young Survival Coalition for Breast Cancer. Perfect book for the holiday seasons.
Do you remember last year's bestselling Jingle Balls anthology? The one for testicular cancer research? Well we've done it again! I've teamed up with seventeen other award-winning, bestselling romcom authors for TINSEL AND TATAS, a new holiday romance collection benefitting breast cancer survivors.
This collection of holiday shorts ranges from sweet to steamy and promises to entertain. 100% of proceeds go to the Young Survival Coalition, an international organization focusing on people under 40 and under who are diagnosed with breast cancer. All stories can be read as standalones. Best of all, the anthology is being sold for just $0.99 for a limited time.
My contribution, STAR BRIGHT, is all new story set in my Starstruck series of movie star romances.
Ice queen superstar Kimberleigh Cress doesn’t show weakness. Ever. Until one fateful night the worst possible person to reveal weakness in front of—a reporter—sees her at her lowest. Spencer Devlin never expected to share an unlikely connection with the spoiled starlet who hates his guts. But now that he has, he can’t get her out of his head. Are they willing to let their guard down enough to turn one fateful night into something lasting and real?
Tinsel and Tatas is a fantastic holiday romantic comedy anthology from 18 wonderful authors including some of my favorites like Marika Ray, Piper Rayne, Susannah Nix, Sylvie Stewart, Stina Lindenblatt and so many more. The proceeds from this anthology will benefit the Young Survival Coalition for Breast Cancer.
In this anthology you can expect a short, sweet and sometimes spicy novella from the various authors based off of one of their popular rom-com series- so be prepared for adding some books to your TBR when you read a novella from a new to you author and find that you now need to go back and read their entire series too! Each novella will take place around the holidays and will have some kind of fundraiser or gala where the characters will also be working to promote and raise money for YSC or breast cancer.
Like in Pretty Packages- Marika Ray's novella based on her Jobs from Hell series- we get all the little snippets of Auburn Hills and all the people we love in a fun little read. James is a mail carrier and finds himself volunteered to show his co-worker Poppy's granddaughter, Liv, around town while everyone prepares for the Tinsel and Tatas fundraiser. James is that fun kind of contradiction that I love from Marika's stories- he is quiet and kind of awkward and shy but works out enough that he somewhat resembles the hulk. Liv is quiet and sweet but is obviously recovering from something but finds herself at ease with her gentle giant of a tour guide. The quirkiness that is Poppy and all the other residents of Auburn Hills had me laughing- Liv and her strength had me smiling- James and his sweetness had me swooning- and all of it together plus bringing awareness to YSC makes it a fantastic example of these wonderful novellas and the cause the are working toward.
This book of eighteen stories by good authors not only goes to support young women fighting cancer but is a great value on its own. I enjoyed Kilby Blades follow up on Chef Cella and her husband Sam's involvement as the star chefs for the TINSEL AND TATAS gala in Yosemite, CA, across the continent from their home restaurant in NC. It turns out they gave more than they bargained for when they discover that five couples have contributed more than $50,000 each expecting to vie at curling with the TV star and her husband, who don't even know the rules. Then to find out they must add 'boob' deserts to the menu means Cella must cancel her spa day at the luxurious resort! This story has a happy ending but another of my fave authors, Arell Rivers' story does not. But maybe that's to be expected since it's a prologue to her next series, Sins of the Fathers. An excellent introduction to the families as their celebration of TINSEL AND TATAS in NYC ends with the FBI escorting the patriarchs out of the ballroom. A fantastic read for a good cause. Recommended.
This was a fun anthology. There were so many laughs from both familiar and new to me authors. Loved that each author took a common theme and turned them into totally original short stories. I have never heard of the Young Survivor Coalition and all the information included made me go research them further. A very worthwhile cause and I hope this anthology helps them do amazing things. This is a cause I can get behind 100%!
I love it when an anthology contains not one but two stories from authors I am currently reading, and it's even better when that anthology is for a good cause. Way too many women are impacted by breast cancer in our world today.
I absolutely adored Decidedly with Tinsel by Stina Lindenblatt. This is a terrific little addition to the By The Bay romantic comedy series from this author. It's just the right size and the type of story I love after a hard day of work when I want something light and fun.
Wilder for the Win from Serena Bell is another winner for me. I love the Wilder Adventure series for it's light hearted fun and this one is a winner. It's fun and flirty and just right for when you want something light.
I'm looking forward to checking out some new authors in this anthology as well. Great price, great stories, great cause.
Tinsel & Tatas brings on the smiles for a worthy cause. Humor, heart and hope leave a lasting impression on the emotions. Rayne, Marti, Johnson, Crush and Meredith bring on the laughs while speaking directly to the heart. Whether catching up with old friends, being inspired by new ones or falling in love for the first time, Tinsel and Tatas is the kind of party that can be celebrated all year round.
Fantastic Christmas Anthology Supporting a Worthwhile Cause
Loved all the short steamy romance stories in this Anthology. Each is centered around a Tinsel and Tatas Christmas Gala to raise money for the Young Survival Coalition, a charity that provides support for breast cancer survivors. Most of the stories are a light read with humor, romance, drama and of course a HEA. Some of the stories included characters from one of the author’s previous stories or series (For example: “Wilder for the Win” by Serena Bell and “Decidedly with Tinsel” by Stina Lindenblatt) while others are about totally new characters. A number of the authors were new to me, but I will definitely be looking for more books by each of them. You will not be disappointed and you will be helping a wonderful cause when you purchase this anthology. I received an ARC of this book from Serena Bell in return for voluntarily writing an honest review.
Stina Lindenblatt's Decidely with Tinsel .. is a wonderful short but fantastic story in this collection of amazing authors. Getting to meet Juliette and Drew and seeing them coming together over trying to win a contest to support the Young Survival Coalition. Juliette's mom suffered from breast cancer and the prize was a week away at a spa. After Juliette's bf April breaks her leg the two of them have no choice but to work together. Throw in a jealous ex girlfriend trying to get back with Drew.. but in spite of trying to can't ruin a good thing she can't. Was also wonderful to catch up with Holly and Josh again PiperRayne's Rock, Paper, Santa... was also wonderful, We got to catch up with the Mancini Brother's and their families. When these boys are involved it's lots of humour and lot of competition. Between running a marathon in Santas suit to find out some of the problems the couples have over come. Scariest is Annie and her battle with cancer. Lots of money was raised by the boys and trying to get their wives what they wanted.
I have read the previous stories in the Wilder series by this author that had hinted at issues in Amanda and Heath's marriage so I was interested to see where this story would go. It was a really good depiction of what happens to a marriage several years, several kids, and some serious sleep deprivation later. Loved these two!
Tinsel Bomb by Arell Rivers - 4 Stars
This story is a good introduction to the authors next series. I immediately liked Theo and can't wait to read his story. Xander has potential but i didn't click with him as immediately.
What a fun, incredible compilation of stories for such a good cause! Tinsel and Tatas will bring you into the Christmas Spirit with a laugh & a bit of education about breast cancer survivors. From Serena Bell's heartwarming tale of bringing a marriage back to its smoking hot heights, to Marika Ray's glimpse of everyone's favorite town, Hell, from a visitor's perspective. This anthology is hot, wickedly fun, irreverent and saucy in the very best of ways, and just an absolutely great read!
I adored this anthology!! All the stories have a common theme around breast cancer and how people can come together to support a cause that is underrated. Especially when the people diagnosed are under 40. There are several of my go to authors in here as well as some new to me. I was so excited that Piper Rayne contributed with an update on my favorite blue collar workers. The Mancini brothers are still play “rock, paper, scissors “ to see who will do whatever deed they come up with. Catching up with them and their wives brought me back and has me wanting more of them. MK Meredith also contributed with a trip back to her Cove. Wreath making never meant so much to a new business owner and an older one. I was clenching my heart with love for them. Marika Ray takes us back to Auburn Hill and a pair that repair each other. The new authors I found, I know I will be reading more from them too.
