Imagine "The Time Traveller's Wife", except human Crowley is the time traveller to an increasingly confused but as always fussily obstinate Aziraphale. This trope needs a special mood (that mood being "emotional"), but when it hits, it hits just right.
"Win a Date with Anthony J. Crowley" by Caedmon
(Good Omens)
125.000 words | ~455 pages
2.9/5 stars
I'm not a great fan of insta-love in this way - some of the developments didn't make all that much sense to me timeline-wise, and the writing wasn't bad, but could be a bit better (more show, less tell, and less repetitions). That being said, I guess I did still read it all in essentially one day.
"Ineffably Yours" by SecondHandNews
(Good Omens)
112.575 words | ~409 pages
4.4/5 stars
This started very promising because I adore flashbacks, then sort of dipped somewhere in the middle because it seemed not very canonical to me, and then went for heartbreak towards the end. I'm not complaining, but only because I know this is part 1/4 😂

I didn't know I needed a Fem-Southern-College-AU, but turns out we don't always know what we need, because this was so nice! I may be a little bit biased because of the rarity of IneffableWives content, but would definitely redommend.
"Choose Your Princes Wisely" by ZehWulf

"Fools Rush In" + "0-60 in 3.5" by nieded
(Good Omens)
139,664 words | ~508 pages
5/5 stars
Both titles are an excellent description of me devouring this series. I raced through this within 24 hours, and especially FRI was the healing, soft balm that my soul needed after AALS. As for 0-60, I have yet to encounter the day when more domesticity for my tortured OTPs is not welcome –also any day when there is a crossover with The Great British Bake-Off is a good day.
This entire series was honestly so well written. Definitely one of the best AU concepts I have ever read, and all the additional information was phantastic. Hats off!

Wowwwwww, this was painful because it was excellent. There's just something about the middle part of big story arches - they make it or break it. This one made it.

"The Tales of Eden Cottage" by Jupiter_Ash
(Good Omens)
105.025 words | ~382 pages

Cute little collection of (so far) 18 SouthDowns short-stories from the POV of various village side characters.
"Sit Tight, Take Hold" by nieded

157.603 words | ~573 pages

1st read: Did I just voluntarily binge-listen to about 23 hours of essentially Formula 1 fanfic - and love it?! Yep. I swear any time I say that no AU can surprise me anymore, a new AU comes along and surprises me.
Re-read: Changed from 4.9 to 5 because apparently I somehow actually became an F1 fan in between because of this series.
2nd reread: Don't judge, winter break was long.

Fandom!AU - Could it be any more meta? Another fake-dating-while-real-pining, the trope of tropes, but with delightfully little unnecessary miscommunication. Also, I have a thing for illustrated stories now and this one is the reason.
"On the same page" by Chekhov
(Good Omens)
117.728 words | ~428 pages
4.7/5 stars
Give me #fake-dating-while-real-pining any day of the week and I'll already gobble it up. Combine it with the beauty of an Authors!AU? Sold, we are indeed on the same page.
"How to Win a Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Television (and how not to)" series by GaryOldman
(Good Omens)
31.481 words | ~115 pages
4.9/5 stars
TVHosts!AU - This little ficlet earned its place on the podium of one of the funniest things I have ever read, and all while keeping with the drama and flutters. Delightful!
"Fire and the Flood" by VerdantVulpus
(Good Omens)
136.401words | ~496 pages

Prequel to TTWBAD. How deep into a fandom do you have to be in order to read about the fictional alternative-universe-versions of the alternative-universe-versions of the TV-universe-version of some book characters? This deep, apparently xD
("Fiends with Benefits" Part 2)
"The Trouble With Being A Demon" by VerdantVulpus

One of the tags reads: "This is exactly as weird as you think BUT it is also pretty funny". That tag is correct on all accounts.

"Things We're Forced To Name" by brilliantlyordinary
(Good Omens)
72.969 words | ~265 pages
2.2/5 stars
HighSchool! AU - Too far removed from the actual essence of these characters, plus there are only so many times you can describe somebody as "the blonde" before it gets too much (one, as it stands - not one per page).
"The Infernal Bodyguard" by Santillatron
(Good Omens)
174.483 words | ~634 pages
4.5/5 stars
Bodyguard!AU. Including the additional scenes from the full version, what can I say - baby got tropes.
"But You, My Dear, Are An Ocean" by megzseattle
(Good Omens)
82.681 words | ~301 pages
5/5 stars
Gentle and heartbreakingly realistic in the way it depicts the shredded ruins of what's left of our hearts after S2E6, and gentle and persistent in the way it mends them back together - and casually heals your soul while doing so. Absolutely stunning writing.
"What if... " by mltrefry
(Good Omens)
78.897 words | ~287 pages
4.5/5 stars
Did I need all those alternative timelies? No. But did I love them either way? Yes, yes I did.
1st-reread edit: I take it back, I DID need all those little interlude because every time I wanted to scream into my pillow because of another near-miss, I could come here and get a short reprieve xD
("It Was Always You" Parts 2-4)
"It Was Always You" by mltrefry

SingleDads!AU. This might well be the absolutely sweetest, most domestic, most healing dramatisation that I have ever read - and I devoured every little bit of this absolute chonker.
"Sweet" series by Shay_Moonsilk

Lawyer!AU. What even is accurate characterisation? Who cares, this was a fun read. xD
"The Persephone Clause" + "The Orpheus Cure" by Zetared
(Good Omens)
70.797 words | ~257 pages

Well, this was a thing. I liked the first 2/3 more than the last part - that kind of meandered too far from the source material for my own taste.
"Ecdyses (The Old Vines Universe)" by sevdrag
(Good Omens)
189.706 words | ~690 pages

Winery!AU. Might go for a wine tasting after this, that's how good it was. Beautiful writing, very soft, and great characterisation.
"The Curve of Old Bones" + "Twelve Days of..." by Jenanigans1207
(Good Omens)
241.962 words | ~880 pages

Christmas-y Journalists!AU. Maybe a bit sappy at times, but it's also both funny and dramatic enough to make up for it.
