I chose to read this book because after reading the first few pages I wanted to read more. I don't often find many books interesting by reading the first few pages so this book bought me great shock.

A character in this story that really caught my attention was Lily. She was a curious person who went a little overboard to find out unnecessary information. In doing this lead her to various consequences. I found her interesting because she did some really gutsy things that I would never even think of doing. All she really wanted to find out was why her boyfriend never talked about his past. She really went to the extremes in finding this out that she made a fake topfriendz profile (a website in the book where people meet new friends, like facebook in reality) and acted as someone else- a fake. She knew she was in the wrong by doing this. The good thing was when the consequences came she took them well and at the end of the day she blamed herself and only herself. Something everyone can do.

" I'll make no excuses for what I've done."

This is a quote from the book that really ties in to what I've already said in the previous paragraph. This is something many teenagers should start using instead of " Sorry followed by an excuse" This states that she's the only person to blame for her actions.

Something new I have learnt from this book is to never blame anyone else for your actions and never use excuses. My father always encourages my brother and I to not use excuses because it will become a habit and you'll have an excuse for everything in life.

I have made this book fit the 'your own choice' category on the book blog bingo board because it doesn't fit into any another category. After reading the first few pages I just couldn't stop reading, I surprised myself really. When I noticed that 'your own choice' was the only category this book fit into it was too late to grab another book to read, so I continued.

Hilary, really writes easy to read and well thought out novels that teach such great morals and lessons, particularly to young teens.
