Its something new and im not saying its bad its just something new book wise i have read. Milly wrote this book wonderfully it was easy to get into and was amazing just as I said out of my books I normally read.

Fate is on my side
Sometimes it is hard for me to read about the Gods since their story is as old as time and we all know how the story ends, but this book took that old tale and gave it the perfect spin to capture my heart and attention. I love how these two battle it out, but when it comes down to it they connect and fight for each other. The author kept the action as high as the intensity and the book was better for it. And the characters are feisty and phenomenal. The perfect pairing even if they want to fight fate until the very end. If you are looking for a new take on an old tale this is the book for you. I can’t wait to see where the author takes the path of fate next!

A compelling read, riveting storyline and a great plot
This was a wonderful first book in the series which I thoroughly enjoyed reading it was one of those books that once I started reading it was simply impossible to put this book down it was that great a plot it just held my attention completely.
Alyssa had been assigned with the heady responsibility of ensuring that Earth remain protected which was no easy feat when there were so many other gods and beings that would do anything to cause as much damage and harm as possible.
Aries is the God of War and she is not going to stand for any of his supposed charm or nonsense however what they had not expected was the attraction they felt for one another to be so apparent. This is quite a unexpected turn of events with the challenges between the gods and the humans.
I hate to give away too much about stories especially when they are new but I can highly recommend this as an entertaining and full-on action read that leaves you looking forward to future books in this new series.
assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Alyssa is one of the three Fates who is responsible for guarding the gates of Olympus and is bored as nothing has happened for what feels like forever. So when three gods sneak onto Earth she is spoiling for a fight with them. However, when she encounters them she meets her match in Ares the God of War and finds it impossible to keep her mind or hands off him. When Ares arrives on Earth, what he really wants is a taste of the sassy Fate, but he finds that not only does she have magic to rival him but she threatens to conquer his heart too. But then mysterious and powerful magic attacks and she suddenly needs all the help she can get to keep them all alive and Ares decides he'll give everything he has to keep her from diving into battle to her death even if it has to be his life. Can they all survive?
I enjoyed this story which covered how they decided to come to Earth and how Ares met Alyssa. She really was a sassy and yet fiery personality who needed to learn how to control herself and her powers. It was wonderful to see Ares help her with that and that they were well matched with their aggressiveness and tendency to leap in. Well written and easy to read, feel and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.

We Love Milly by herself but love her when she combines her talent with another talented author. this teaming up is with Kala Aster a new to me author.
With tag-teaming authors, we always think of flow and the story these to put to pay had no hiccups, they wrote as one not taking from but enhancing. Amazing writing ladies.
Our little cutie is all about the science of things way more than the magic of things. Now if she'd just get that hot magical man out of her head she could get some things done. Our smexy god-man, oh yeah he has no inclination to be hooking it up 'specially wit the likes of the hot, curvy oh so intelligent female. But you see things just don't go the way either of them think.
They're kinda pushed together and you know boy meets girl and... nope. Zeus has thrown a proverbial lightning bolt down, A edict from the God all Father could very well put a nix to any lubby dubby that Hades and the dreamy fate might be feeling.
Come together they will for a mystery is afoot, as well their existence looms in the balance.
Great characters, fun story, a nice addition to the series. Some heat, some fun. Enjoy

This is book 1 in the Unruly Gods series. I really wanted to love this story but parts of it, I had a hard time getting into. Ordinarily I love mythology and everything to do with it. And in this, I did love Ares and his character. I had a hard time loving Alyssa though. I just couldn't connect with her and she kinda drove me crazy. I liked the different take on the Fates and how they come about. I liked the way the God's are, technically, criminals for coming to Earth. I just had a really hard time with other portions of this story. I don't want to give too much away because I am sure some people will absolutely love this story and it may ruin it for them. Now, this isn't to say that I won't read the next one. Especially because this might be just a one off and I may love the next one. I will just have to wait and see if I have better luck with that one!

Alyssa is assigned to protect the Earth from Gods and other beings that want to do naughty things. Aries at the God of War decides to go to because some mayhem Alyssa goes to collect him and realises she’s a fight.
Aries didn’t think anyone could challenge him until he meets Alyssa this comes to an eye shock to foreign and not only did he fight with her at fault for the same time. Really like the new fresh start a line with gods and fates been the centre of the story can’t wait for more and looking forward to this storyline and series been extended into more. Milly Taiden Is the Queen of paranormal romance highly recommend a lot of her series especially the PDA with Gerri Wilder been the matchmaker.

Being in a gold palace can be boring if you can't go anywhere else. Three greek gods are bored. They are confined and want to go "play" big bad boys!
It's Fate's job to keep the earth from danger. This time danger comes in form of some hot guys. Resisting them isn't going to be easy. When dangerous creatures add to the situation they have to decide if the hotties are friends or foe.
Good start to the series. Some action, excitement, surprises, and steam. I'm ready for more.

This Alyssa and Ares's story. Ares is the God of War. Alyssa is assigned to protect the Earth from Gods and other beings. Ares and Alyssa are great characters! Marked by War was an outstanding, action packed, twists and turns. It left me wanting more can’t wait for the next book. I know for sure that it will leave the same way too. Gotta read this ONE!!! Highly recommend! Keep up the awesome work girl. Can't wait for the next book to come out.

Three guys walked into a bar.....no,no,no. Three gods snuck out of Olympus and came to earth. They thought they'd be undetected and raise some he!! But they didn't count on the Fates. Aeres, in particular, God of War seemed to have met his match in Alyssa. Strong, courageous and not unlike him, Aeres was smitten. Even detained and his powers reigned in by her, he can't get enough. When other powers come into play, van she trust him enough to give him a chance? An interesting mythogical romance by Milly Taiden

What a good start to a series. I absolutely loving hot new take on mythological component and having the Fates in the story as well. There a bit of action, intrigue, steamy encounter, and of course hilarious banter between Ares and Alyssa making it a helluva read. So looking forward to the next book in this series. An amazing start to a new series. I loved the mythological component and having the Fates written into it as well. It is a page turner full of adventure that's got plenty of action, twists and turns. You will be consumed with this one and won't want to put it down till the very end. It's well written with an excellent storyline. You just never know what the Gods or Fates are up to until you read this. I'm looking forward to more of this series.

I LOVE Greek Mythology!! What a fun, sexy and hot new take on the great Gods of Mt. Olympus and the Fates. Ares, the cocky SEXY bored God of War who escapes to earth and a restless Alyssa, one of the three fates, pursues him. The first book in a trilogy where the timeline runs concurrently. This is a different kind of love story and a fun take on the Fates. This book features Ares the God of War and Alyssa one of the Fates who is all about action. Put one tough female up against a buff tough stud of a God and the fun commences. I giggled my way through this hot tale.

I love mythology! This was a fantastic read! Ares and Alyssa are great characters! This was a very enjoyable read and so exciting! Ares is my favorite mythological character and I loved reading a story about him! Great beginning to a new series and very well written! Absolutely loved it!

This is a great start to a new series. As book one in the Unruly Gods series this was a great start. This was a interesting storyline it has lots of adventure with romance and hot times. Alyssa and Aries have there hands full when when they are attacked by a mysterious magic. They hold study together. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

A fun story. It is a good start to this new series. As a Fate, Alyssa’s purpose is to protect Earth. Unfortunately the job hasn’t been as exciting as she had hoped. All that is about to change when three gods decide to sneak to Earth. Area has been so bored. He can barely summon the energy to get out of bed. Sneaking to earth is about to change that!

This is the first book of three and the start of a new series. The Gods are not allowed to come down to Earth, but they have found a way to go and The Fates must make sure they don't harm Earth. Now if you remember the Gods are hot as sin and Fates are sexy so you know where this book is headed. Good start to a new series.

Wow, what a hot story! This book is one of the best that I have read in a while. I even caught myself bursting out loud with laughter more than once. The Fates are on the job and looking for more than one God on the loose. Gotta read this book. What an adventure!

I didn't dislike it, but I wasn't crazy about it either. I did not like Alyssa at all, she felt like she had the maturity level of a 14 year old girl with impulse control problems and Ares was pretty childish too. Which, I guess, works for them as a pair but it made them both fall pretty flat for me.
I plan on reading the second book and I hope Daphne and Hades have more dimension to them.

What a way to start a new series. There's just something so hot about an unruly God like Ares. And Alyssa thinks so too. Join this trio of Fates and God's to figure out an earth changing mystery. At least for three fates and gods. I volunteered to read and review an advance reader copy.

Ares and Alyssa connection between them in this bk1 was ccol to read. I like how the story plot is set up and i never got bored with the story can't wait to read the next book.

Loved it. Fantastic book. You will not want to put it down. Definitely a must read. If you like like Milly Taidens work you will love this.

Quite a unique twist. I loved reading about Gods honestly being uniquely human and finding themselves bored and petulant on being told they can't go somewhere lol. I can't wait to read more of this series and hopefully we'll get more of Ares cause he is my favorite besides Hades ;)
