3.5 stars - I feel like this book is trying to cover too much ground in too short a book. The story is interesting, but everything feels very glossed over.

Really quick, great read. I enjoyed seeing these characters fall in love and nearly lose it all, all thanks to an ex with a deceitful soul. This is another new to me author but I am looking forward to what the next books in the series brings. 4 Stars!

This story is short and sweet to read. The storyline is quite OK for such a short story but I was troubled by a lot of grammatical errors. Even though English is far from my first I know that it is not correct to have both past and present tense within the same sentence which was way too frequent and other errors as well. So I can not give this story more than fine three stars despite me having liked the story otherwise.

Past & Present Tense Do Not Belong in the Same Sentence Repeatedly

I am waiting for an ARC to drop, so I needed some short reads for the time being while waiting. I didn’t want to get involved in a full length book, when I knew I would put it aside for the ARC. I have quite a nice reading streak on my Kindle and I don’t want to lose it. I searched my Kindle for novellas and this one popped up.

1) The ONLY reason this book got three stars from me is because I finished it. That’s my baseline for any book I complete, whether it is a full length story or a novella.

2) If I’m reading and something in the text causes me to STOP, I review what was written. Sometimes, it could be a word I don’t know. Other times, it’s a spelling or grammatical error that was so obvious it stopped me reading in my tracks. That happened a lot in this novella. There were present and past tense verbs in the same sentence numerous times. I’m not an editor, but I am a former teacher and basic grammar errors just slay me. I know all indie authors don’t have the monetary resources for some services, but having a group of family or friends read for error checks would be beneficial. Even getting a group of readers to provide feedback would be helpful.

3) This book was almost a DNF for me, but since it was so short, I muddled through to the end. There are parts that had promise. Showing the relationship develop between Eric and Max would have been nice to see. Just because novellas are short doesn’t mean you have to cut out key plot elements.

I know this is a series, but I won’t be continuing it. I won’t take the chance based on the errors in this one.

All his
This story is about Eric and Melissa – a millionaire and a single mum. He’s a rich businessman, and she’s the fill-in flight attendant for his privately chartered flight. They share an instant mutual attraction, but their first interaction is anything but nice. He’s rude and obnoxious, and she snaps back at him. He does surprise her when he apologises for his unnecessary outburst. She does the same. That’s where the working relationship changes a little.
He puts her on his permanent flight roster to see more of her. With her financial problems, she’s more than happy to take on the work. Another work trip to New York provides them with the opportunity to spend some time together, getting to know each other – in more ways than one.
There are ups and downs, ex-created drama, and lots of love, sweetness, passion and steam! This totally swoon-worthy alpha male claiming what he wants, had me smiling, smirking, and blushing all the way through.
I was really bummed when I got to ‘The End’, but was so happy when an Epilogue appeared… I can’t WAIT for the next book in the series. My suspicions are that they might involve one big brother and a beautiful felon ;) I give this first book in the series four and a half steamy stars.

Eric was the billionaire boss who sometimes forgot to be human. Melissa is his flight attendant and she has lost her patience with his rudeness. Eric will apologize and they will start to work together. Eric wants to get to know Melissa and they start spending time together, enjoying each other’s company. Melissa has some issues she has to deal with before their relationship can progress. She has an ex who is manipulative, a liar, a cheat and a womanizer as well as thief. All of this will create problems for Melissa. Eric will not take no for an answer and he begins to work on this problem. This is a story about two people who are amazing likable individuals who want to be together, want to be happy and love each other. It is a great read. This is the first time reading this author and I really enjoyed the story. I will be adding her to my list.

Do you ever pick up a book knowing exactly what your're going to read? You think, "This is going to be a (enter qualifiers here)" and then you start reading and realize your were one hundred percent right? Yeah, this is NOT that book. The addition starts with the book cover. Yeah ...Yeah don't judge a book by it's cover bla.. bla... bla, we all do it and this one is the scratch to your itch. This the story of Melissa and her Mr. Stone. Melissa is a divorced single mom with an ex. from hell and wants his cake and ice cream and all that comes with that including the control over all aspects of her life an all around jerk. Then she meets her Mr. Stone he is Alpha down to the bone and won't tolerate someone mistreating his girl and he isn't the one the stand by and do nothing so the questions are will her jerk of an ex-husband get what's coming to him....will Melissa and Mr. Stone get their HEA?

Eric is a multi-millionaire CEO. Melissa is a single mom, and his new flight attendant. Despite a rocky first meeting, they become friends, and then lovers. This is a new-to-me author, and I really enjoyed the story. One thing I really love about Eric is that he's the first one to apologize for his behavior on the plane. He comes from a large family, and I love their closeness, I'm impressed that he understands her commitment to her son, and includes Max in some of their activities. Melissa initially thinks Eric is as controlling as her ex, but soon finds out how different he really is. These two are just sizzling together, and the revenge on her ex is priceless!

Eric and Melissa's story !!!

I really enjoyed this short, steamy romance and for a debut it is a strong start. I enjoyed how the story introduced all the other brothers setting up for the next sequel; I can't wait to read the rest of the Stone brothers. Melissa is a strong character and will do anything for her sweet, adorable son Max. Eric is a handsome businessman and can't help but get involved with single mum Melissa. This is such a lovely second chance romance with a happy ending and I can say that I am looking forward to reading the next one. Hmm, well it was ok

I really don't feel that spending the last 15-20% of the book on the next book was a good use of the author's resources. I barely began to like these two either desperately or together, the interaction between Eric and Max was completely glossed over as well as Melissas interaction with his family. There was nothing about what was given in this story that led me to believe that either of them were really in love with each other. She wasn't a strong character at all, and would have lived in fear and heartbreak if she hadn't been "rescued" by Eric. No thanks on the rest of the series, I'll pass.

This is a good instalove novella with a protective hero. Eric falls for Melissa in a matter of days and soon finds that things are not what they seem with her. Her ex-husband is controlling and using their son to keep her from being happy. Eric protects what is his and finds a way to neutralize the ex’s threats.

The stories in the series seem to follow Eric’s brothers. I look forward to reading the next one.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. This story of Eric and Melissa was so good I had to laugh. Eric alpha arrogant billionaire male and then you have this sweet Melissa single mum with son Max they struggle and she needs more money to help them out more. Can Eric and Melissa get along considering they are the opposite of each other, was an emotional book.

Melissa is filing in on a charter flight for Eric Stone. When she serves him his drink wrong he starts yelling at her, only she has had enough of being treated poorly by rich jerks! Eric can’t believe how badly he just acted and apologizes to Melissa. He can’t help, but be attracted to the beautiful curvy woman! Can they find their happily ever after? Great book that I would highly recommend!

The novella-length story 'Up In The Air: A Millionaire CEO & Single Mom Romance' by Eden Webber is a fast-paced romantic story involving a feisty, strong woman, Melissa, her adorable son Max and, the hard-working, overly stressed billionaire, Eric. "Up In The Air" is an enjoyable read with laugh-out-loud moments, fist pumps and romance that will have you smiling from its first chapter to the last!

The story has it all which is impressive for a short story. The main characters are insanely sweet and their story has a perfect happy ending. I liked how this story is obviously the start of a series but it did not get hung up on giving tons of details. Plus the drama level was perfect and the villain got what he deserved

It's good but just fine.

A story of a single mom, Mellisa Dunne and a billionaire, Eric Stone. Their first met is on the air, ofc, when Eric has a trip that needed him to board a plane and finally meet with Mellisa, the new flight attendant.

There is a plot here and I like it just fine. The smut scenes are fine too so yep it's fine. It has a happy ending too!

Loved this story, great characters and a page turning story. Our hero is alpha enough to be spicy but a family man too which made me fall in love with him even more. Our heroine was the right mix of strong and vulnerable and I was so happy that she got her HEA. I love the link in the tale for a sequel. Brilliantly done. I look forward to reading more by Eden Webber!

One of the sweetest romances ever! It’s insta-love when Eric meets his new air hostess Melissa. He pursues her, they join the mile-high club (not really a spoiler alert if you looked at the title) and grow their relationship to their heart-melting HEA!

This is the 1st book I've read written by Eden Webber; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I loved the characters.

Eric and Melissa! I loved their story! Quite classic trope BUT I enjoyed every minute reading this book! I can't wait to read the next one in the series!

P.S. The cover doesn't match the story at all... I'm a little disappointed with the lack of clothes in the majority of the books published these days...

Three stars for errors.

The book was quick and to the point. I liked the characters and the story. There were some grammatical errors nothing to keep you from reading the novella. I liked his family. There was no mention of her family. I hope all the books feature all of the family throughout the series. I love big families that have each other's back when a crisis arise.

This is my first book from the author and I think she delivers. This one is a good respite after reading one with a very heavy, very adult theme. I would have to admit though that I do not know how or why this happened or something, but either way, her books give a good breather.

And here I am proceeding to the second book right after!

Basics are there but needs work

The basic premise for the story is good, but this books needs to be flushed out and polished. The biggest interaction we get from anyone is at the very beginning. Every other scene feels like half started thoughts as the author plots the book. I think this has potential, but definitely needs to be rewritten and then edited.

Eden Webber, new author to this reader has a well-written, very short novella that was surprisingly quite enjoyable. It had angst, attraction, sexual tension, steamy sex, intelligent heroine, and falling in love ... All compacted in ~70 pages. Quite like this series and secondary handsome Stone brothers to see where their hearts lead them.😊

Melissa is struggling financially after her ex left her with nothing except a house and a huge attorney's bill after the divorce. He has money and uses it to harass her. She meets Eric when she works as a flight attendant on his private plane. Things develop quickly in a predictable way. This was very short and felt a little rushed.

short, sweet and a really fun read. i enjoyed how fastpaced and silly it was, but i really feel like some more investigation into the actual characters and their relationship really could have improved it a lot. i felt liek some of the crucial relationship deve;opment was missing, and it made it feel liek they lacked chemistry

A QUICK ROMANTIC READ
If your looking for a quick romance the story of Eric and Mellisa is it. They meet in the air and continue on the ground. They hit a speed bump but Eric smooths it out.
