"Originally from America, I moved to London because I wanted to live abroad but spoke no foreign languages. After a brief and unsuccessful stint as a serving wench at the Tower of London I found work as an actress and comedy performer. I’ve perfomed regularly at Edinburgh and London comedy festivals. A few years back I got a job touring around the UK as a storyteller and that’s when I discovered that kids liked, laughed at and didn’t fall asleep when I performed stuff that I wrote myself. I was hooked on writing and performing for kids..."
Gotta love a graphic novel! When the animals of the woods start having previous things stolen from them, it’s up to Agent Moose and his pals to solve the mystery! This is loads of fun - gonna for right in my graphic novel box in my classroom!
Graphic Novel Plenty of humor as Agent Moose and Owlfred return to solve more cases. This one involves Moose's grandmother as well as the local reporter. Mid to upper elementary level readers will appreciate the absurdity and be challenged to follow the hints to figure out who is robbing the forest animals.
This is a very clever and humorous graphic novel for younger readers. The drawings are stylish. The vocabulary is entirely appropriate. The story plays out hilariously in a way that teaches good life lessons without being preachy and boring.
