Airman.

Hacker.

Mercenary.

Hacking one of the government's top agencies when I was seventeen, then covering my tracks before telling them about it was my first mistake. My second was thinking they'd want to know that if I found the opening, anyone could. Nineteen hours later, five armed men in uniform kicked down my door.

I had a choice. Prison or recruitment.

The Air Force took me in and trained me to be the best Cyberspace Operations Officer they'd ever had. Being the gatekeeper for the military's strategic operations intel was an honor, but it put a target on my back. I never traveled without security—until I made my third mistake.

Four days and twenty-two hours later, barely able to stand after events that I wasn't at liberty to discuss, I erased my past, changed my identity, and went off the grid. Then I joined Alpha Elite Security. I was invisible, exactly as I'd planned… until she found me.

Code name: November.

Mission: Extrication.

I'm super impressed how the author can take the same theme in a series and make each book feel fresh and new. November and Atala's story is nothing like any of the others in this series. The only similarity is November rescues Atala, and fights hard to protect her. The rest was completely unexpected. It's why I always fly through her books and reach for the next one. Great read!

I went back and forth on the rating for this book, but I’ve come to the conclusion that any issues were mine. I love the writing of this author and the stories that she tells. This book was no different in that regard, and I will continue to read whatever she writes. That being said this book just wasn’t for me. I did like the intrigue, and I really enjoyed the cameos from other books she has written. There were one or two things I was left questioning when it was over. Others will definitely love this book, and I look forward to her next one.

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: heroine in peril
Angst: 😱😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥

November... the callsign of the man with the ice blue eyes and the personality to match. Captivated by the girl who was going to be collateral damage in the war against terrorism, there was only one thing to do, but four days later, everything falls apart in the worst way. Atala.. the beautiful butterfly with no last name, has only known subservience in her small world and when presented the chance to be free, she decides she's safer with the hunter. Until everything falls apart. Now she's a girl with no memories and a gaping hole in her life until her hunter finds her again.

Once again, Sybil Bartel knocks it out of the park with her superb storytelling! November is well written, moves quickly, and has characters you can't help but fall in love with. The book was actually a lot spicier than just the sum of the smexy times... the chemistry between the two of them was off the charts. If you're a fan of dominant, completely over the top, controlling men (at least in books, lol) then November will definitely check your boxes. Personally, I like a little more dominant heroine, but I do enjoy an occasional super subservient one, and Sybil is one of the few authors I trust with bringing that kind of heroine to a story I will adore. Atala was a product of her upbringing and it really works with the story. I absolutely loved seeing my favorite Sybil Bartel heroes make their cameos, but I wanted to say that I was ecstatic to see Ariella, Neil's wife. I think she's the first spouse to make a cameo and I was super here for that :)

Lady, you wreck me every time with your dedication to your son. I always read it to the end. I always cry.

November is the 5th book in The Alpha Elite series and is a complete standalone. It is told in first person, from dual perspective.

⛔️ My bookshelves can sometimes be spoilers

Reallllyyyy enjoyed this one, only downside was no marriage nor baby by the end of the book. I didn’t mind the push and pull that was happening throughout the book when it usually annoyed me. The H, November/Nathan/Hunter/Sir was a total alpha and the h Atala/Butterfly/sub was a total sweetheart, she was sooooo naive that it hurts and I just wanted to put her in a very secure place, afraid she would get hurt.

Overall a great book with both swoon worthy H and a lovely h.

- Main Couple: November (aka Nathan Rhys aka James Hunter) / Atala
- POVs Included: Dual POVs (November, Atala)
- Book Playlist (The Alpha Elite Book Series Playlist)

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------
SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)

Four years ago Atala was taken hostage for three months by a Russian terrorist cell who boarded her charter boat. While November was working for Cyber Command in the U.S. Air Force, he was ordered to use a drone to take the cell out. But doing that would also kill Atala, who he could see was innocent.

So he chose to get her out and save her at the risk of his life and status in the military. While doing so, he falls for her and her for him. But then she is shot and her body disappears.

Four years later he finds her. But she has amnesia from the bullet that grazed her skull. As she tries to remember what happened, November is trying to take down the rival hacker that's been playing with him his whole hacker career and is now messing with Atala's life.

REVIEW:

I'm happy to say this was a lot better than the last few books in the series, which have been getting too long and slow paced. This one felt like Bartel is getting back into the swing of things and felt more on par with her earlier books.

That said, November still wasn't my favorite of her alpha heroes. He wasn't bad, and I loved his protectiveness of Atala. But the heavier Dom/sub themes just aren't my favorite. I like dominant heroes, but not necessarily the bdsm lifestyle. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I don't like when the MMC has to be called by "Sir" because it feels impersonal and not romantic to me.

That said, I didn't hate November. He's pretty sexy, but just not my favorite.

On the other hand, I actually really liked Atala. I'm not normally a fan of Bartel's heroines (but usually I love her heroes). But Atala was sweet and brave and I liked her. She's very submissive, but I found it sweet rather than annoying. She just had a good demeanor and I liked her.

I also felt like the story had a much better pacing. I'd call it medium-paced, but it wasn't a super long book either, so it worked well. I didn't get bored and that's great considering I was very bored for the last three or so books in this series.

Another thing I LOVED was that Talon was in this one (he was strangely missing from Zulu, even though he's made a cameo in virtually every Sybil Bartel book). So I was thrilled by his major role in this book! Yay! And he finally met someone he couldn't nickname! haha
“Thought I was gonna have to bust down your door, Miss Atala Rose. Which, for the record, a name like that’s so fittin’, it just ain’t fair. I can’t even nickname you. Although…” Pausing, he looked at me and grinned with mischief. “I could call ya Butterfly right in front of Hacker Boy and watch him lose his shit. That might be worth gettin’ my ass kicked.” He winked.

I also loved the appearance of not only Neil, but Ariel to! So cool! Bartel hardly ever has her heroines make re-appearances in future books and this was so special. I loved it!

I still don't get the epilogue scenes in this series though. I would love to know what they mean and how they connect to the rest of the books in the series. Please explain them for us Sybil! I want to know what's going on! lol

Overall the book was a lot better. I was about ready to put this series down despite loving all of Sybil Bartel's books up until this series started. But I think at this point I'll keep going. I would love more sex in them like her older books, but this one was a lot better with that than the others in this series -- so it's improving at least! :) Still love this author and how she writes sexy AF ex-military guys!

DNF at 72% !!!!
i couldn't feel a connection between them ZERO!
all of that sub thing was weird for me because there was no build up to lead them there.
I kept going because the plot had potential but getting to 70% i find myself not caring at all about this two together, there was nothing between them LOL. It was weird , no passion, nothing.
When they get intimate which was also very rare it was all so clinical and detached , i didn't like it at all and November a lot of times was just a '' bully'' rather than a Dom , for no reason.
I'm disappointed

OMG! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE JOURNEY AND MUST READ!
Part One is the story of Air Force cybersecurity genius and hacker, Hunter and the ‘sub” Atala. She is suspected of being part of a terrorist ring. He has been watching/tracking her via his computer and believes she is innocent. Which, as it turns out, she is in more ways than one. Hunter is 100% focused on rescuing her from the cell which has taken her. He is a dominant and when they meet, she tells him her name is “sub” as that is what the men have called her. Her story of life on her beloved boat/ship and the simplicity of her life will tug at heartstrings. Will Hunter be able t protect her from the men of the cell who are looking for her? She reminds him of the “butterfly” for which she is named. Can he set her free or will he keep her? Can he protect her, keep her safe and set her free on a life on the run?
Part Two..Four years later… Nathan Rhys aka November is no longer working for the Air Force but for AES (Alpha Elite Security..see previous books in the series… all stand-alone) run by a team of former SEALS and Black Ops forces. He has created a facial recognition software as he hunts for his “Butterfly”. Will he locate her?
Four “New Year’s Eves” have gone by for Nicole. She knows she was rescued near Prague by an old woman living in a dilapidated farmhouse. she knows she was badly hurt and had to heal. When the pain is too great in her head, she has seizures an doesn’t understand why. She has no memory, 5 passports, 5 credit cards, a bloody matchbook with 2 words on it and in need of work. She has found that on yachts as a stewardess. She has no idea why she is skilled on a ship and on water. With little money, unaware of the millions in accounts waiting for her to use, she ends up outside of the tavern whose matchbook she has. In walks November much as he did 4 years previously. And a new adventure begins.
Who is “check mate” who has been cyber stalking November for 17 years. Who is the terrorist “Z” who was the 5th man involved with the kidnapping of Atala? Is the terrorist cell active again or is this another one? Will “Nicole” find the answers both she and November desperately need?
Sybil Bartel has written her most searing AES novel in the series. As always, her characters are deeply flawed and ex-military and experts in their field. The women with whom they become involved are equally complex and together, compassionate, passionate, focused as well as uncompromisingly strong and resilient. November and Atala are such characters. He IS a dominant male. A loner. His keyboard skills have been evident in all of the books in the series. He can locate anything and anyone.. he is THAT skilled. Atala is more complex in that she is dealing with trying to find clues to who she is and what are her links to ‘check mate’ if any?
This reader cried, hurt, and could not put the book down. This complicated love-story is worth the read as it is twisting and turning, a page turning, barn-burner excellent thriller of a story. Readers will be kept awake trying to read just one more page until they are done. Will questions be answered? Will there be a HEA? You are just going to have to delve in. Many more than 5 stars. Hop on the roller coaster ride! You won’t regret it. It is a powerful story written by an gifted and powerful story-teller.

This was intense....!

November is the fifth installment in Sybil Bartel's The Alpha Elite Series and can be read as a standalone.

Let me start by saying this is those kind of books where you don't really know what to expect, but it wasn't this. Not that it is a bad sign, on the contrary, it's intense, temperamental and abrasive in the sense of you knowing November's calm, collected and controled demeanor as an AES high skill employee against his intern outrage, turmoil and revolt. All because of the 'Bosnia event' and the situation that led to it, something everybody at AES heard, some know, but nobody talks about it and with good reason.

This is the story of a hacker boy (Talon's words, not mine) and his butterfly with fallen wings, not broken ones. Two souls with very similar upbringings but different journeys, actions and reactions to it. It didn't happen by chance or serendipity. The hunt was on purpose and with purpose, meant to destroy, maim and annihilate, IF ONLY........he hadn't observe with focus and precision.....he hadn't captured her innocense........he hadn't thought she didn't deserve to die......he hadn't disobeyed the orders and responsibility..........BUT HE DID....and then....Nathan Rhys and Atala Rose were irrevocably connected to life. Something, not even the reality of nothing, was capable of desintegrating.
Four years have passed and November is in for the imposibility to present itself accompainied with a demon that has been evading the trap for seventeen years.

Sybil didn't hold down with the AES hacker account: raw, gritty, convoluted and absolutely tension-filled, the atmosphere is heavy and the movements wary. As well, an emotional-riddled climate that has November internaly conflicted with his feelings, wants and needs, and Atala's wishes, desires and will to recognize herself and belong to the man who has winter cool eyes and a name of a month.
Their connection is one of total power exchange where you can feel the longing hunger and the trust, even with Atala's actual situation. November is an alpha dominant, even it might make him angry and clash with himself, Buttertly is the most precious thing to him and why he started the whole ordeal on his own and vowed to put a definitive end to it. I absolutely loved Atala Rose, in her simplicity and demure, she was wise for her age and for a life that robbed her of the world. She might not remember, but she felt without belligerence or hostility. She knew what happiness meant.

I think this is a more reflective storyline. You have to immerse youself in the environment and live vicariously through our protagonists' battles, scars and conquests. It was soo strenuous and agonizing for them....but just so worth it!

Sybil, I ❤️ you one book more!

Worst Book in the Series

I had problems with this boom
Starting with the fact that I despised November! He was an absolute dickhead! He was cruel to Atala and doesn't know how to be a proper Dom. Apparently, he thinks being a bully and not discussing and setting boundaries before engaging in a D/s encounter is how it's done. Being dominant doesn't mean being an absolute jerk! He treated her more like a slave than a submissive. He was also a selfish prick, making decisions that would affect the rest of her life without even consulting her! I'm so sick and tired of book where men make decisions for women because they think it's what best for them! It's BEYOND irritating and insulting! No one has a right to make those kinds of decisions for other people. It's especially irritating when they do it under the guise of "not hurting" the other person! In this case it was super frustrating because he was actually depriving Atala of what she wanted and needed most; his dominance. By leaving her, it was actually detrimental. He never once considered that it might be what she actually liked and wanted from him! If he'd ever bothered to really get to know the girl instead of ordering her around, maybe he'd have realized that, but again, he treated like she was less than human and didn't possess a mind, opinions, feelings, or wishes. It came off more like a mix of how you'd treat a dog and a slave. She's a person, not a thing. And this is coming from someone who's part of the BDSM community!

Then we've got quite a few errors in the book. Words in the wrong tense, sentences missing words, horrifically screwed up syntax in places, formatting mistakes, and either spelling mistakes or horrible typos...not sure which. For example, using the word 'four' instead of 'for,' and 'I' instead of 'I'm.' Who edited this book that this many mistakes made it to print? Sloppy work. Big pet peeve of mine!

I sure hope the next book is better and that the main character is actually likeable. Good riddance to Nathan "November" Rhys!

I anxiously awaited this one, as I have space in my heart for all the AES men. I realized a quarter of the way in, I was ill prepared to handle the situation November and Atala found themselves in! And honestly, November is not one of my favorites...

My heart raced, and I took a time out before continuing, when I hit that part. As with all of the stories in this series, these men [and their women] find themselves in some harrowing situations. I just could not understand how this situation was going to become a positive one!

I commend Sybil, for being a gifted and creative author, strong enough to write these characters, and ultimately deliver a [perfect for them] HEA. WELL DONE!

There were a few things that bothered me about this story, and these characters, that may not bother you - so I'm not going to list them. For me, this couple was not easy to connect with, because of November's vacillation between keeping Atala, and releasing her. IFYKYK. *wink* I sincerely appreciated the drama and mystery behind why all of this was occurring, and that kept the pages flipping furiously.

Of COURSE, it was Fantastic to "see" all the AES men doing what they do best, and I sincerely appreciate Talon's levity in this one. Always a good time when he shows up! I do love these guys!!

I ended this read feeling satisfied with this read and happy that I know another AES team member, and that both of these characters have what they need, in the end.

I await Echo's story, and thank Sybil for providing me with another good reading experience, with characters I love.

Sybil Bartel is a master storyteller! Her books about these Alpha men of the AES are so addicting! 'November' was no different! I was instantly drawn to Nathan (November) Rhys and the fragile Atala (Butterfly) Rose. Before I was halfway through, I knew this was a completely off-the-charts story - and I wasn't ready for it!!

Boy, was I not ready!!

Atala has a target on her back; November as well. His expertise at cyber security finding a terrorist cell puts that target on him. This is also where he discovers Atala, an innocent, traumatized & unwilling hostage, whose charter boat they use to plan their attacks. She escapes & these terrorists will stop at nothing to find her.
What ensues next in this story is full of grit, raw emotions and non-stop action.
November vows to protect Atala. They run from their enemies, keeping one step ahead and having to erase their tracks constantly. Their emotional relationship involving a "sub" (Atala) and an extremely dark and dominant Alpha (November), is an incredibly powerful and complex process.
There are issues introduced in the book that completely opened my eyes. Yet, these are the things that Sybil writes so well about! She can tell these stories that compel the reader to want more! The Alpha/"damsel in distress" theme might be repeated in each of her books, yet, with a fresh twist in each!
I absolutely could not leave this book unread for long! I was completely overwhelmed by November's character!

"Who da" thought!!???!! 😉
An exceptional story - bravo, Sybil!

Honestly I thought I knew what I was in for when it came to November’s story, you know the whole man rescues woman, woman brings him to his knees type of thing, well November was all that and a whole lot more.

Knowing what I knew of November from reading snippets regarding him here and there throughout the previous books in the series, I assumed him to be a cold, hard, emotionless man. Oh he’s hard alright, in all the right places if you know what I mean, cold and emotionless too when needed but there is also a whole lot more to him. Upon meeting Atala the FMC we get to witness the dominant side of him as well as the extremely protective side, but will this “Hunter” be able to protect his prey from those who are looking for her as well as taunting him? Can he keep his submissive “butterfly” or will he set her free? And what happens if time runs out? Find out the answers and a whole lot more in this intriguing, action packed read, filled with mystery, heartbreak and a whole lot of secrets.

Sybil’s style of writing and the way in which she can repeatedly take a theme and use it over and over within a series yet somehow make it refreshing and new each and every time is beyond impressive. These books just keep getting better and better, I look forward to the new one... Echo, I'm ready when you are.

Less than 1 star. VERY disappointing. Did not enjoy AT all, won’t read again, would def not recommend.

Hardly any sex and when there was, it was tasteless and impersonal. November was far more aggressive than I was expecting and the whole story was fkg convoluted. Guy on the cover as ugly as FK.

My thoughts at 100% are exactly the same as at 25%:
I’m at 25% and not happy 😕. Firstly, what the actual F is the deal with all this Dom/subdom crap? Sybil isn’t known for this and that is NOT what I signed up for. I’ve been bursting, waiting for this book to come out and already I’m very disappointed.

Secondly, this guy just doesn’t feel like November from the other books. Yes he’s hella smart, yes he’s totally badass and YES a total badass-geek at that. But that guy is also chill and discreet and professional. This guy isn’t chill, he‘s reactive & emotional and a little reckless with this very odd, naive girl.

Didn’t like her at all, so many inconsistencies in her personality and she’s just so so weak, really put me off.

Anyway, obviously only being at 25% there’s still a lot to unravel, but I’m really hoping this series doesn’t continue to go all Dom/fkn-sub as it progresses - already caught glimpses of that shit in the previous 2 books. It is NOT everyone’s cup of tea and it would be fkg cliche to make all of the Alpha Seals w these tendencies ffs.

Devastatingly brutal.

Sybil gives you enough information for you to follow along but to keep you guessing about the possibilities and the direction of the story line. November is devastatingly brutal in the best of ways. Sexy, hot, demanding, and so alpha he makes you wet. But forewarning, this is includes hot, hard, and aggressive sex. If you are vanilla this book is not for you.

November is one bad ass, fierce mother fucker. Enough said. Due to PTSD, amnesia, death, innocence, and November’s lack of social skills make for a hot mess of heartbreak. Sybil takes us on a dark and twisted path that has not been as evident in her past books. You are going to have to hold on and buckle up for this roller coaster ride.

November is all of Sybil’s alpha’s times 10. He is harder, more domineering, more protective, but also sweet in a way that life has never shown him. Butterfly…her innocence, her strength, resilience, and her guilelessness just breaks you and puts you all back together.

As always, Sybil’s books are a smooth read. The timelines, transitions, and connections to her other stories all add up. The editing is wonderfully done. This is a book that you can truly escape from reality as Sybil takes you on one hell of a wild ride.

An amazing tour de force.  A fast-paced, gripping story that kept the pages turning.  Ms. Bartel did what she does best.  She wove a brilliant story around November and Atala.  Full of twists and turns, complicated characters, and witty dialogue, this story grabs you from the opening line and doesn’t let go.

November is a hacker with a checkered past, and Atala is a lost soul. Together they are delicious perfection with combustible chemistry that leaps off the pages.  Thrown together by circumstance, they take on international terrorists and embark on a journey that changes them both.

I adore all of her stories, but this one is definitely a favorite.  Throw in the AES team dynamics that are superbly written, a sexy, multi-faceted, unapologetically dominant hero and an intriguing woman with a troubled past that is stronger than she knows. Wrap that into a tale that spans the globe and is full of suspense, and you get a story that makes you laugh, cry, and beg for more.

Ms. Bartel writes complicated, flawed characters that draw you into their world.  Another five-star read in this magnificent series.

I thought Novenber was every bit as instense as Zulu but in a completely different way. I was equally captivated. Take one hacker, November AKA Nathan Rhys AKA The Hunter, who with a few keystrokes can ruin your life or make you incredibly wealthy and one woman, Atala, who may be walking on this earth but doesn't exist anywhere on paper. Put them in suspense filled, intense, often dangerous and intriguing story. You've got a superbly enthralling reading experience.

As The Hunter, Nathan was charged with proving Atala was guilty of being a terrorist. However, he can find no proof of that. He rescues her only to have her disappear without a trace. Fast forward four years she resurfaces and he makes it his mission to right the wrong he feels he's done to her. What he doesn't count on is that his Butterfly has gotten under his skin. Her lack of guile, her naivete of worldly things, her deeply submissive nature and current state of mental health call to him like no other woman.

A good adventure

Athala is a woman with not much of a past. Then, she found November when she needed him the most. He was perfect for her, he was a dominant man and she was a sub. Their adventure have ups and downs but he help her so she survived. November was a dominant man, very dominant to the point that he didn’t want to have a relationship. He was too damaged by his past but he found Athala and she was the perfect sub. She enthralled him with her innocence and vulnerability. Still, he pushed her away because he had to protect her from a world that wanted her dead. It was the most difficult mission he had to do because this woman stole his heart and he couldn’t let her go. I enjoyed this book for the adventure but the couple’s relationship isn’t my cup of tea. The woman was too submissive and naïve and the guy too dominant, he didn’t even wanted her to open the car’s door. I’m sure some people find this entertaining but I found it a bit too much and boring. It’s a good book but know that the love is expressed in a different way.

I’m trying to figure out how this series just keeps getting better and better. Just when I think Sybil Bartel has outdone herself with her latest Alpha, she throws another one in the mix and takes my breath away. November is definitely not what I was expecting. I never got this sense of dominance from the interactions in other books in the series. Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining. He is more than I expected. He is sinfully delightful. I am not into the BDSM genre, but this novel was so beautifully written. It was soft, yet strong. Definitely an Alpha man. If all books in that genre were like this one, I could read more of them. If you haven’t read any of Sybil’s novels, you need to. She has a way of capturing your attention from the first page to the last. I am never disappointed with her words. November has become one of my favorites. And I am going to patiently wait for Echo. Well, as patiently as I can.

Perfect Book To Cuddle Up & Read Now or in November

Four and a half books into the Alpha Elite Security series and we’ve finally gotten November’s story. Probably one of the most intriguing and mysterious character we’ve been introduced to, November’s silence and demanding presence in the previous books has finally been explained and his story is epic. This is definitely not a book to start before going to bed or during lunch at work. From page one you will be pulled in and will want to read in one setting. Sybil Bartel’s ability to write characters that have the power to make you feel their agony, love, heartbreak and every feeling in between is exquisitely done in November and leaves the reader instantly longing for the next novel. I have not had a book hangover like this since reading Neil. Sybil Bartel continues to be an author that I instantly place a pre-order for. November is one I will enjoy reading over and over.

The relationship between h & H made me cringe a lot.

D/s is not my thing but I think I roughly know what that dynamic entails and what we got here was almost like a caricature of a real thing. Unhealthy, weird & twisted. Impossible to believe / understand.
Plus we get the most stupid safe word ever. Are you ready? It's "no”. Not to mistake it with "no, sir".... Jayzus!
I'm so disappointed Ms. Bartel.

(Also, like in a Zulu book, it didn't make any sense that h wasn't raped. None at all. If you go there, be brave and stick to it. Don't bottle.in the last second. Five rough men and a beautiful young woman on a boat for months together? Yes, it would happen)

Overall interesting plot but not very realistic. I really liked the fact that we get a story instead of the cliche romance.

But I didn't enjoy reading this particular one, I pushed through because I really like the author and I'm planning to read the rest of the series.

Again, Sybil Bartel weaves her special brand of magic and creates the best Alpha’s for us to devour, heart and soul.
November will make you gasp, whimper and sigh. The dynamics between Nathan ‘November’ Rhys and his Alpha Elite colleagues and pop ups from Talon and his trademark no-fks-given wit, and
Neil aka ‘Viking’ and his beautiful wife (because when these Alpha males fall, they fall hard and fast!) just makes this story addictive.
Everyone’s favourite dog Missy pops in to melt our hearts again.
Although this 5th book in Ms Bartel’s Alpha Elite series is a stand alone novel, I highly recommend you just jump in from the start. Take a breath, strap in, hang on, it’s a roller coaster you want to ride over and over again.

November sucked me in and I could not put it down. November and Atala’s story was so good. Atala born on the water and raised on a ship by an alcoholic father and Nathan a hacker who is in the Air Force couldn’t be anymore different. But when their worlds collide it is explosive. It was action packed and had me fighting for them. Atala a natural born sub also was tough and a fighter. Nathan was a loner and had a rough time letting people in but when he started working at Alpha Elite Security’s he has no choice to lean on the guys for help. And in fighting to Free Atala his butterfly he ends up freeing himself also! I highly recommend reading November and the other books in the alpha series. You can’t help but fall in love with the characters. I can not wait for the next book!

November by Sybil Bartel!

November and Atala our MMC & FMC
Novemver is mysterious and secretive
Atala has been dealt a hard life...

“Atala,” I repeated, sinking my career. “You now have two choices.”

Sybil is amazing at her craft of creating a story; she captures you're attention through angst and suspense, then takes you for a ride of your life!
Just like her books in the series it is action packed, have explosive chemistry and the feeling the characters are going through, you feel them as your own. I felt the happiness, sadness, grief, angst and more.... highly recommend this series, heck all of Sybil Bartel's books are phenomenal.

“There’re two sides to me, Butterfly, and one of those sides isn’t good for you. I can’t hurt you again.”

Not gonna lie at first I wasn't to sure about this one. That was my fault for starting a series a few books in, because damn! I thought I knew what I was getting because I have read some of Sybil's Alpha Bodyguard Series but I was not ready for this. However the last 50% of this was so good it completely changed my mind and did not disappoint, and I couldn't put it down. I loved Atala (our female lead), and just wanted to give her a hug and then got it in the form of reassuring words as simple as "there is help for everything" and " your still breathing" and then November damn! Seriously loved it and am now going back to the beginning of the series! 🦋

and sorry but Rhys broke me and made it all worth it.
