There are three things that are certain in this life.
Death.
Taxes.
And if I want something, I will get it, no matter what it takes.

From the moment I laid eyes on Olivia Cooper, I knew…
She was mine.
She didn’t agree, but I wasn’t going to let that stop me.
She was all I thought about. She was my obsession.

So, I watched.
I studied.
I toyed with her and I played my games.
In her I’d found my perfect match, because she met every single one of my challenges with one of her own. She fought back and I loved it. All good things are worth fighting for, right?

Trouble was, she thought it was all a game, but I would never give up. I saw something in her that made me crave more.
What did she see in me?
Cruelty.
Savagery.
A street soldier with a thirst for vengeance.
I was a virus and she was immune.
Or was she?
Where I come from, they call me The Psycho.
And I’m about to show the world exactly why.

The Psycho is hands down my favorite book from the author. Shh, it’s our secret, don’t tell the others; Adam has made me believe in his stalking tendencies. Let's face it; I was far from a fan of his until now.

Adam Knoble Is a true psycho, gives zero fucks, and with no Conscience. He is brutal, and some may say a Savage. That is why he is the leader and fixer of the Soldiers of Anarchy. Then one night, a woman in a red dress and blonde hair catches his attention, Olivia, aka Liv. What He sees in her eyes is a mirror of his own.

Was she some kind of siren? Because she was pulling me forward like a damn magnet, and that had never happened before, not with any girl.

I love Liv in the Rebels of Sandland series. She is brilliant, fiercely loyal, and feisty. She gives him a run for his money; it’s freaking fantastic.

Sparring with Olivia was opening up new avenues of fun for me.

I couldn't get enough of Olivia and Adam. I was sucked into their world and didn't want I come out. Dark Room!!! It's a scorcher for sure, and I hope to read more scenes about that room in future books.

“Do as you’re told, or I will tie your hands to this fucking table and fuck you with my tongue until you’re almost there, you’re so close… and then I’ll stop. I won’t let you come. I’ll leave you begging for it.”

I read this book in one sitting and couldn't put it down. I was left wanting more. I can't wait to see what she has in the works for the soldiers.

I'm kinda sad.. I was so hyped about this book it let me down. The person who let me down was Olivia aka Liv.. she was just so gosh dang annoying.. and not in a good way.. the only reason I didn't DNF was because I loved Adam.. he was a good character hes psycho but for good reasons he was head over heels crazy in love and obsessed over Liv.. and she was meh.. she kept pushing and pushing and pushing I think about 60% of the book she was the one pushing.. it got so ugh that I skipped some of her chapters because I couldn't care like I get making the guy work for it.. but that was just to much push away.. Only time she was okay was when she was with her brothers.. I didn't find her badass with a nickname blackwidow..
Postive things about this book was Adam, the dog, and the guys in Adam's Crew.

As much as I love the idea of the dark room I wish their first time wasn't in the dark room.. since it's pitch black.. it was hawt but wish that first time was not in the dark lol.

Psycho stalker romance!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💙💚🖤💜❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎
Character development: 🧐🤨🙄🤤

The heroine: Olivia - she has been done wrong in her life and a lot of people have think she is something she isn’t. Partially because she is outspoken and unafraid. Men have used her and she is afraid all any man will ever want from her is one night.

The Hero: Adam - a true psychopath, Adam doesn’t have feelings. He hears voices in his mind and doesn’t feel regret or remorse. This is why he is perfect as the de facto leader of the Soldiers of Anarchy. He and his friends in the Soldiers are a gang that are trying to improve their city. They own a club and each have a room in the penthouse apartment above the club. They clean up the streets by acting as a kind of vigilante force.

The Story: Adam is the baddest guy around and after seeing Olivia, he knows he wants her to be his. She quiets the voices in his head. So he stalks her and he texts her. Olivia is aware of him and knows who he is, and she likes it. She answers his texts boldly and is audacious in her response to him. She knows she should fear him but she doesn’t.

The book is told in dual points of view and narrated in dual narration by Faye Adele and Shane East. Both narrators have British Accents and they were perfect for the story. Shane East is one of my favorite narrators and I just love his voice. Faye Adele also has a very pleasing voice which sounds age appropriate for Olivia.

I usually love stalker love stories, even more so when the Hero is a psychopath or sociopath. I did enjoy this book but there was something about it that I just didn’t connect with. Maybe because though Adam was a killer, the Soldiers of Anarchy is a group that does good. My love of Dexter is probably shining through here, since the soldiers go after pedophiles, rapists and more. So maybe I just don’t see him as bad as he is supposed to be.

“We were the good guys doing very, very bad things. Broken angels doing the devils work.”

Also Adam seemed tamer in his stalking than I expected. Maybe that was because Olivia knew who he was and knew he was always out there watching her. He was also a genuinely nice guy to her and dreams of a home and family with her. It all seems so white picket fence and daisies. I guess I just wanted him to be a bit more Psycho.

Had a hard time getting into it. The beginning was also confusing AF. It says standalone but this definitely needs to be read after the other series, which I didn't know it was a spinoff until I started reading it, or else it looks like it's just all over the place. It's also VERY wordy, and the characters are a little too try-hard for me so I just couldn't take them seriously

The Psycho was a dark and sexy stalker romance. Man, I want a stalker if he is Adam, only Adam. He was ruthless, obsessive and oh so hot. Once he had his eyes set on anything that he wanted he stopped at NOTHING to get it. I devoured this book!!

Adam is the leader of the Soldiers of Anarchy. We were introduced to him and his crew in Rebels of Sandland series. He felt no shame or regret for what he did in the name of good. He and his friends were true vigilantes. They hid in the dark and played with their prey before ending them.

After seeing Olivia he knew that she was the light to his darkness and that she wasn't as pure as she portrayed to others. That she had darkness inside of her and it was his siren song. That she was hurting and alone, even though she surrounded by people. They just didn't care for her like he could.

Olivia is feisty, out spoken and doesn't allow anyone to tell her what to do. Her home life is lacking even though she has everything she would want, her parents aren't really there for her, but her brothers are her saving grace. She doesn't allow Adam to take an inch because she knows he'd be like a dog with a bone. He'd never let her go. She pushes and he pulls.

This was dark, gritty and so so sexy. Hello dark room!!!! Holy HOTNESS!! I can't wait to read other books about this crew!

I found the author on Tik Tok, she was promoting this book and my interest was sparked. Her selling point was Adam...unhinged, animalistic, psychotic, Adam. He sounded frightening and exciting at the same time. Needless to say I preordered and waited giddily.

The book starts out running. And I don’t mean that in an exciting action packed way, I mean there is way too much going on right away. In the first 2 chapters alone which equal to about a dozen pages we are introduced to at least 13 characters. THIRTEEN CHARACTER INTRODUCTIONS WITHIN THE FIRST FEW PAGES!!! There’s Adam the hero, his friends/gang members, some local businessmen, a hoochie, rival gang members and all their girlfriends, and finally Olivia, the heroine. They were all referenced by first and last name and given some some kind of backstory so they must be important right? To be fair, this is the first book I picked up from this author meaning some of these characters might already exist in an existing world I haven't read about yet. So for a first impression I had no idea who any of these people were and it was a bit overwhelming. I thought it was the first of a series, I could be wrong.

Anyway, my biggest problem with this book was the complete let down of Adam’s character. Adam the PSYCHO, was anything but. His entire personality was in exposition. Why does everyone fear Adam? Because he says so. That’s it. We are told he is psycho so therefore he is psycho, there are no actions shown to the reader that proves this. Perhaps an instance where he catches a group of girls looking at him, he stares back at them, hard, they look away in fear…BOOM…he psycho!
In the beginning of the book he comes off as someone with a stick up his a$$ to be honest. Constantly telling us he’s a badass, snapping on people for no reason, never letting his fellow gang members know what is going on until last minute…I don’t know what this is ensuing? Perhaps that he is thinking critically and is always one step ahead of everyone? Either way it’s just poor leadership skills.
When I think of a psychotic, obsessive, domineering hero, I expect to see a man who cannot be explained. His actions should confuse and shock me. When Olivia compared herself to Harley Quinn I expected the hero to be an adaption of Joker, leader of a crime gang, crazy and extremely intelligent. He is someone that would beat a man’s face in while mechanically laughing and in the same breath spew off some sentimental poetry to the heroine convincingly. Instead Psycho Adam made a ‘Finding Nemo’ movie reference…yea, he’s a Disney fanatic apparently. That’s not psycho, that’s quirky.
His other failure was the fact that the heroine walked all over him in the beginning. I know this was just to make Olivia appear strong-willed and fearless but it took away from Adam’s power, what little he had to begin with.

Olivia, the one semi-redeeming quality. She was ok. A little much in the beginning, no woman with common sense is going to “saunter” her way to a horrible neighborhood alone and confront a PSYCHO and his gang members…but whatever. I wish the author would’ve just stayed in Olivia’s POV. I enjoyed her and the story unfolding made more sense through Olivia’s eyes. I just don’t believe the author had enough knowledge and confidence in writing the type of character she wanted to portray Adam as. It’s a difficult character, I get that and possibly a good character but her execution fell short. I shouldn’t be able to understand Adam if he is a psycho, staying in Olivia’s POV would’ve helped the reader form their own assumptions of Adam as well as keeping him in a mysterious position.

I got about 2/3 of the way through and set it down, I just couldn’t immerse myself into the world that was being described to me. This isn’t meant to bash the author she has quite a following and many other books to choose from so I will check out her other works. Sorry for the bluntness, just had high expectations.

This is an entertaining crime romance story. Despite being the first in a series, it’s clear from the beginning that this is a spin-off series. I was a little overwhelmed by the characters at first, and I experienced some serious FOMO from the previous series. That said, after about halfway through the book I figured out who everyone else was (by the time it didn’t seem to matter anymore!) and I started to really get into this book. Adam is damaged and, well, psycho, but he’s surprisingly sweet to Olivia.

This is a cute book, and I’m really looking forward to the next ones in this series! 4 stars.

I’ve never read anything by this author before so this was a lovely surprise and I found myself really enjoying this one a lot. I’m definitely going to be checking out more from them now that’s for sure.

This was way less dark than I was expecting the darkness comes from what the soldiers do with their vigilante sideline rather than Olivia and Adam’s dynamic. Yes, he is a bit stalker obsessed but other than that everything else is entirely consensual between them and Olivia actually likes this about him despite how much she initially gripes about it. Adam manages to make her feel wanted adored and special with his razor focus and he manages to burrow right under Olivias defences. I also liked that Adam wasn’t a fuck-boy and he was choosy in his attentions.

This had chemistry and heart I did think some of Adam’s fellow soldiers were a tad underdeveloped but I still liked this one. There’s delicious darkness as well as the romance and I’m definitely on board for more stories set in this world. The developing bond between these two ended up being rather sweet and Adam falls for Olivia instantly whilst she does take a tad longer to catch up with him the fascination for her is always there.

Definitely recommend this it was well written an easy read that managed to keep me engaged.

2.75⭐️ (maybe like 2.8 if we are being picky but not quite a 3 star book..)

This book started off so well, and it just got progressively worse 😩
I’ll start with the things I liked-

The group of vigilantes, who run a corrupt town essentially are have all the authorities in their pockets, great setting for a dark romance, the first couple of chapters focused on the ‘soldiers’ and I was really really enjoying it

What I didn’t like-

Olivia is introduced as a really feisty, takes not shit kinda fmc, however this personality she has is quickly lost in the story and the way she behaves with Adam doesn’t make sense as to the character she was when we first met her? She’s scared, nervous, gives in all time?! I don’t know why we just dropped her personality completely

Stalker romance is normally one of my favs, however in this, even though he’s stalking her she’s aware of it from the beginning and essentially taunts him with it, which takes away all the tension and secrecy of an obsessed mmc who stalks the fmc

I’m fine with insta-obsession in a stalker romance (obviously otherwise it doesn’t work) but something about the fact that she knew he was watching her the whole time and they’d text each other whilst he’d just sat outside her house with a hood up and she’d open her curtains and see him respond to the texts just made it feel so creepy and weird

There’s two plots in it, the romance plot, and the soldiers of anarchy and their behind closed doors dealings, however I didn’t ever feel like the two managed to to intertwine properly I felt like I was flipping between two stories constantly

There’s no development in their relationship, she doesn’t like him then suddenly sleeps with him one time and that’s it, she wants him and they’re together and that’s that …

It’s such a shame because it could’ve been so good but it’s like the author didn’t want to take the time to explore the story and world properly..

”Game on, princess. Fight me all you want. I love it. I love the chase, but you’ll soon come to realise that I always win.”

I don’t know what it is about the stalker premise in romance, but when I come across one, I HAVE to read it. Especially lately! So when I saw The Psycho, about the head of a violent, vigilante group who, from the moment he lays eyes on the heroine, vows that he will make her his, I was all over it!

”She was mine. She didn’t agree. But I wasn’t going to let that stop me.”

This is book 1 of a spin off series from this author’s Rebels of Sandland series. This is also the first book I’ve read by this author. In the very beginning, there are a lot of characters that must be from this other series that are all introduced to the reader pretty quickly, which was a bit difficult to keep up with. I ended up being fine though, and we get to know the members of the Soldiers of Anarchy, which will be this series, well over the course of the story.

Outwardly, Olivia wants absolutely nothing to do with Adam from the moment she meets him. Her friend group dislikes his friend group…again, this must’ve been built in the previous series. She shoots down his every advance. So, of course she leaves him no choice but for him to follow her and watch her from afar…right?! But inwardly, she doesn’t hate his presence near as much as she’s projecting.

”I should hate him, but he intrigued me. I should be scared of him, but he fascinated me. I should want to stay away, but I couldn’t.”

This is a slow burn. It’s the 60% mark before any real steam goes down between these two. But once they did, it was FULLY on. That dark room scene…HOT!! It was my personal favorite! ;)

10962052

I do have to admit, Olivia was a little too wishy-washy overall towards Adam for me to fully get on board with her. I totally understood her self-esteem and self-worth issues, but even with considering those, her constant hot and cold irked me after a while.

I also did not find that Adam’s actions lived up to the "Psycho" name as much as I was told that he did. Now, there is one VERY graphic scene that all the Soldiers of Anarchy partake in that leads to the climax of the book that was disturbing AF, but other than that, I found that this darkness could’ve been more strongly shown.

There were some amazingly swoony romance parts between our H/h toward the last quarter of the book, and the ending was a strong one. I would definitely be interested in reading more about these Soldiers of Anarchy.

”I was falling, and fast. Every growl, every stare, the intensity and the emotions, all of it was like some wild Adam Noble rollercoaster ride and I was here for every twist and turn. I’d never felt so alive.”

***4,25 "Her stalker!!!" stars***

OUT NOW!!!

ALL WHO COME HERE, ABANDON ALL FEAR.

I was waiting this psycho's turn like crazy after i met him and his crew back on "Fractured minds" and Nikki didn't disappoint...
The truth is that I was waiting a little bit more darkness and uneasy moments, Adam in here turned out to be softer than I was expecting, but still... it was very delicious!!!
This was a lovely story and I freakin' loved Adam's crazy stalking and irrational demands to a woman that he actually didn't know... I also freakin' enjoyed how Liv wasn't backing down and she was giving back exactly what she was getting from him...
Yep, these two were a match made of hell, but they were so combatible!!!

Psycho: I wouldn't push me if I were you, Olivia.
Me: Pushing you is what I live for.
Psycho: And breaking you is mine.
Me: Good luck with that.

Adam Noble, The Psycho as everyone was calling him, was the leader of the Soldiers of Anarchy, a very unhinged group of five who were living in a very bad area and who had taken upon their shoulders to bring an uncommon justice...
The truth is that they were enjoying the messy and bloody scenes that they were creating with their preys...
Also they were enjoying their crazy mind games, the games of consequences as they were calling them...

"They call us the soldiers of anarchy.
Soldiers, because we will fight for what we believe in.
And Anarchy, because we don't give a flying fuck who we have to destroy to do it."

One of those games led Olivia in Adam's path and she grabbed his attention in a very obsessive way....
He kind of fell instantly for her and she blatantly told him to f**k off, but that only sealed the deal for him...
From that moment, a crazy mouse and cat game had started between them, one that I really enjoyed and even though, Liv was in denial at first, she was enjoying it too...

"Her game of consequences was just about to begin.
Tick tock, Olivia. Your time is up."

These two were so explosive together... They were both stubborn and reactionary and they were making a freakin' mess, but they were just made for each other...
Olivia had the ability to sooth Adam's hard edges and to make him look like more human than a beast...
And Adam, even though obsessive and possessive as hell, could make her feel alive and wanted...
I really enjoyed their back and forth through the phone and their chemistry was super crazy!!!!

"She was my new obsession. She was mine, and I couldn't wait to claim her."

"I should hate him, but he intrigued me.
I should be scared of him, but he fascinated me.
I should want to stay away, but I couldn't."

And of course, I can not wait for the other soldiers's turn...
They intrigued me from the very first moment and even though they were scaring me, this certain book showed me that they are human too and I need to learn more about them...
Are YOU ready to meet The Psycho???

"I've made enough mistakes in my life, but you?
You're the one thing I got right."

The f’ing cover is fantastic.

What’s inside…. Not so f’ing fantastic.

Picture this. Delinquent youth tired of a corrupt/absent justice system. They take it upon themselves to clean up the “filth,” becoming captor, judge, and executioner of this “scum.” A couple of these vigilante delinquents enjoy the torture, chase, etc of their “jobs.” The MMC says this of himself:

I was the one with no moral compass. I had no fucks left to give. I didn’t have a conscience

^ You feeling my problem here? Bad guys can do good things. Good guys can do bad things. Totally devoid guys can occasionally find something/someone they care about. BUT, psychopaths, by definition, do NOT care about the plight of other people… they do not go around saving the world from people worse than themselves because they truly DGAF about humanity nor it’s villains.

What follows is big dick swinging right into a vat of cheese sauce . The MMC TELLING the reader how big, bad, feared, and dark he is. The impact is me rolling my eyes, not salivating. He sounds like a pubescent kid puffing his chest out every two seconds. His analogies didn’t help. FFS the dude used Finding Nemo to call out a skank he wanted nothing to do with.

Suffice to say that this story, character, and writing style isn’t to my taste.

I didn’t make it far enough (8%) to even meet the FMC.

No rating. Just a note to self not to return to this book.

"The Psycho" by Nikki J Summers is a dark romance that offers quite a journey! The main character, Adam, definitely lives up to his title with his morally gray choices, which made it tricky for me to fully connect with him at times. On the other hand, Olivia, the female lead, was a bit frustrating for me. I found her to be indecisive, which didn’t quite match the strong vibe Adam gave off.

The story does take its time to unfold, with the couple not really coming together until about 60-70% in, likely to set the stage for future books in the series. That said, the emotional depth and vivid scenes really pulled me in and made me feel like I was right there with the characters!

In terms of spice, I’d rate it three out of five stars (that doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy it!). There were some memorable moments, but I expected a bit more intensity given Adam's character. Overall, while it had its ups and downs, I can see the potential for the rest of the series. Just remember to check the content warnings before diving in!

This was sooooooo boring. The Psycho? Please, if that was psycho then my definition of psycho is 100 times worse.
This book was so drawn out, I was at a hundred something pages and I felt no interest or connection to the story or characters.

As far as psychos go Adam is so deranged he has earned his badge of honour. As far as I’m concerned these types of heroes are so up my alley I was as eager as a kid in front of a candy shop. So in I go, hand in hand with my friend High Expectations into Brinton Manor, I should have learned my lesson by now… I can see Miss Havisham frowning, disappointed from where I’m standing 😱.

~'𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇', 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒏.. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆'𝒔 𝒏𝒐 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌... '𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆, 𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒓'~

With such a promise I would have expected something huge, unfortunately I had a lot of OTT and skirting the line into shock value Land.

~𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒚. 𝑺𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒓𝒔, 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒘𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒇𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒏. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒚, 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒘𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒂 𝒇𝒍𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒖𝒄𝒌 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒘𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐 𝒊𝒕~

I felt Adam was trying too hard, always needing to tell everyone who would listen what a psycho he was, my mind was screaming “chill out man, stop fretting and sit down for a moment!” Besides, remember that less is more and to put your money where your mouth is. However I liked his stalker tendency, at the beginning he’s boasting about being a bad ass and having no weaknesses, I enjoyed to experience how the mighty has fallen at the hands of a soft hearted angel.

Olivia is everything Adam is not and yet she becomes everything he needs, she centres him, she gives him hope and all those things he didn’t know he needed until she stumbled upon his path.

I enjoyed the banter between Olivia and Adam even if the build up goes on for quite some time and it doesn’t deliver the high it promised.

I want to point out that the above observations are my personal feels, if you’re into psycho, deranged, stalkerish heroes, a group of vigilantes that protect their kingdom, a kick ass heroine with a soft, fragile side by all means give this story a chance! Walk into Brinton Manor meet the Soldiers of Anarchy and enjoy the full Adam experience.

First in s new spinoff series!

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3.5)
Trope: Stalker
Angst: 😰😰😰
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

The Psycho is the first book of a new spin off series by Nikki Summers and the first book I’ve read by this author. I’m a fan of stalker reads and will pick up anything that hints at it. Adam really lives up to the stalker title. Once he decides Olivia was his, he’s all in. This was a slow burn and Olivia definitely was acting like she wanted nothing to do with Adam. I actually had a pretty hard time connecting with her. Olivia was very hot and cold with Adam and it didn’t help that she just seems like she’s living day to day with no direction. She lives off her parents, not working or attending school, but complains about them a lot. I actually liked Adam a lot, he was serious about his affection for Olivia and killed bad guys for a living, but didn’t really come across as psycho to me 🤷🏻‍♀️. There were only a couple of really dark scenes, but the majority of the time it read like a sweet romance and Adam spent a lot of time talking to other guys about his feelings and how to get her as all in as he was. The end of the book definitely had more action and was a little more of what I expected going in. Last thing I wanted to mention was the lack of talk about protection. Maybe it’s just me, but I found the 0 discussion about pregnancy/STD protection a little ick given their sexual histories. Maybe this was supposed to be part of the book fantasy - not worrying about stuff like that? I don’t know… just seems very 1985. I'll wait to see on the next book.

⚠️ (BEFORE YOU READ, there is slight spoilers of Fractured Mind- Book 3 in the Rebels of Sandlot series) ⚠️

“She was my new obsession. She was mine, and I couldn’t wait to claim her.”

🖤Dark Stalker Romance
🇬🇧 Enemies to Lovers
🖤Vigilante Justice
🇬🇧Slow Burn

“I’m not a stalker,” he reprimanded, but there was no malice in his tone. “So what would you call this then?” “Long distance admiration.

ADAM WAS PERFECTION, this is a dark stalker romance with a very feisty heroine. Olivia Cooper, if you’ve read the Rebels of Sandlot series. We got a few glimpses of her with her interactions with Emily and Effy who are her two best friends and as for Adam we met him in Fractured Minds, because of Finn and his uncle and that’s where the blackmail comes into play.

At first glance Adam was intrigued and enamored with Olivia, he is the “Psycho Fixer” Soldiers of Anarchy. There a vigilante group who are hired to finish the problem and take the “trash” out. Along the way, the suspense and his “problem” gets in the way with Olivia.

“Stalk, admire… It was all one and the same”
LMAO, I can’t get over Adam’s psycho and antihero tendencies but when it came to Olivia its was IMPECCABLY HAWT 🥵😍

3.5 stars

It took me a while to get invested, but when I did, I couldn't stop reading. I wish the author didn't tell us to expect a strong heroine, because Olivia wasn't it. Whenever she was supposed to show her strength, she ran away. And her decision to confront Adam and his friends didn't make sense. I don't understand why she went to see them when the deal was done. And her telling them all that she did (helping her friends find boyfriends) didn't make any sense. I think it was supposed to show us how badass she was, but it was just lame and unnecessary.
If the first third of the book was different, this would've been so much better.
Also, I didn't understand why soldiers' victims did what they told them to do (the ones they were gonna kill in the end), if they were dead in any case. Like they guy in the prison. He had nothing to lose and they told him he'd be dead in the end, so I don't understand why he did what they told him to do.

I'm a little interested in Finn and Effy's book. As for the rest of Adam's friends, I may try Devon's book, but I'm not sure about the rest because they all seem like manwhores, especially Colton. And I'm so bummed, because he sounds so interesting. Although, I may still try his book if he isn't paired with some inexperienced girl.

This book. What can I say other than wow.

I saw a review for this on goodreads and immediately knew I had to pick it up. So sorry to the book I abandoned to read this but it had to be done.

This is one of those rare books where I love both the hero and the heroine. It's only happened a handful of times, usually I like one more than the other.

Adam was great. He fell for Liv immediately after seeing her and he never made her doubt his feelings, even when they weren't returned. It's so rare to have a hero who just falls for the girl and will do anything to have her.

Liv was amazing too. She was strong and never took any shit from Adam. She was also hilarious and so unbelievably likeable. Like you can't read this and not love both characters.

I liked this...but not as much as I thought I would. It would have been a 4 stars for the story line and the great writing, but I missed the connection between H/h. That being said I will read the next book in the series.

The plot was good and interesting with lots of potentials but the thing that put me off was the dialogues. Oh and the rolling of the eyes. Like some high school teens. And yes they were young but they supposed to be mature because of all the things that have been through life.

I have been wanting to read Adam's story from the moment Fractured Minds ended.

Pushing Adam is what Olivia lives for? Well guess what? Books like this one, is what I live for! I don't remember the last time I was this excited to read a book. The moment this baby landed on my reader, all else had to wait.

Being inside Adam's head was...intriguing. He's the villain you're going to hate to love. He's a no nonsense guy and there couldn't be a better match for him than his Olivia. The jealousy, the obsession is just the right amount to make you addicted to Adam Noble. This book is going to give you all the feels, but mind yourself of the triggers as it also deals with brutal topics that is the sad reality of the world we live in.

Yes, I liked the rebels, I adored and felt each of their story but I absolutely loved this Soldier of Anarchy.

Nikki, girl you sure can write. And PLEASE stop me from watching the damn tiktoks of Adam on repeat! Gosh that ending though. My heart was beating off the radar and I went WHAT THE HECK! And OH SHIT! And F**k!

I could barely stop myself from reading this book in one sitting. Guys, you need to check out this thrilling story of Adam Noble.

This wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good either. It felt like I was missing something big in the plot. There was this whole group of friends that seemed important or like they have their own series. I don’t know why they were mentioned but the start of this book was a little confusing. Then we have the soldiers and they’re suppose to be the good guys but I felt like they were hired goons. They were vigilantes who didn’t believe in the Justice system. They were very righteous BUT they were even bigger criminals than the criminals they were after. And I’m sorry, the bad guy in this case was bad but he served his time. He was getting out of prison. He was a convicted felon. I wish they would have gotten someone that didn’t get out of jail and serve his time. They were hired to assassinate him and These are suppose to be the good guys.

This is the first book ive read in more than a month and im so glad it was this one. I knew Adam's story was going to be amazing, i wanted his story as soon as i met him in the previous book, But damm did Nikki out do herself with this one. Adam right from the bat, we knew he was going to be hard to love. But he grows on you the more you read.

When we first meet Adam he is not an easy person to like, but at the same time, you want to know more about him. Once Adam sees Olivia he wants to claim her as his own. Olivia tries to avoid him no matter what but Adam makes it impossible and soon she won't be able to resist. Will she finally stop resisting or will she win in the stay away from Adam game? well going going to have to read it to find out !! If you haven't read Nikki's books before start now as you don't know what your missing !!!

This book is so much better than the first one I read by this author. Where do I find an Adam!?!

Adam is part of the Soldiers of Anarchy. A group of vigilantes that dish out punishments to those the law doesn’t get to.
He’s known as the Psycho of the group and after meeting Olivia one fateful night decides she’s going to be his, even if she disagrees.

He spends the next few months obsessing over her, they have some fabulous text conversations and their inevitable get together is nothing but pure fire. If I had a stalker like Adam I would not be disappointed..

Olivia just wants to be loved, after being made to feel like all she’s good for is a one night stand. And Adam makes her feel
like she’s his everything, even though it takes her a little time to believe him. I liked her as a whole, she’s quite bad ass without being annoying.

The only issue for me is that I wanted more background on the characters and the Soldiers. I didn’t feel Adam was psycho enough. There’s only 2 glimpses we get of him being a pure psycho. But I wanted a little more to make him believable that he was that menacing. Especially at 22 yrs of age.

I also wanted more of Liv’s background, yes we know her parents are absent, and her brothers adore her but why does she feel the way she does. There felt like there was lots of holes that could have been better explored.

Overall I liked the Soldiers, and surprise surprise I already have a soft spot for Colton!! I’ll read the rest of the books at some point.
