Very enjoyable storyline. I liked Aleksander. He’s sweet, kind and trying to change the man he used to be. He made real efforts by being involved not just throwing money at things. Haley’s been burnt by her Ex and yet she keeps the door open for the sake of their son. It was great to see her get to experience real passion with Aleksander. She’s a great mom and loves her son and Uncle deeply. Great ending.

Not a favourite.

I am sorry to say that for me this book was a bit of a disappointment; it felt disjointed and didn’t engage me. There were moments that I enjoyed but only moments and with a few basic editing issues I just felt I wanted the book to finish.

Through difficult personal sacrifices, Haley Bristol managed to save the money to buy the professional outfit she wore to work today. The weather wasn’t cooperating, with tiny ice pellets raining down, but today was an important day for her and she was ready. She got in early to make coffee and took in homemade chocolate chip muffins which she knew Mr. Van de Graaf Sr. was fond of. She hoped they and her presentation would impress Mr. Van de Graaf Jr. as well. She needed to convince him she was professional enough to join the marketing department and could be trusted with their accounts and clients. That’s why she worked through her nights, while her 5-year-old son slept, to get a marketing degree. She wanted to provide her son with the best life she could, and today would be the beginning of those dreams. As the uber drove up to the office, she saw a number of reporters gathered. What was going on? But she went around the back to get started on her preparations for the meeting. As she was about to enter, a gorgeous man ran up behind her and prevented her entry.

Aleksander “Manly” Manos had been trashed by his ex-wife’s expose on him and now he needed to fix his image and follow his dream of design. With Van de Graaf's being an established fashion dynasty in a small New England town, he hoped that his friend could give him the chance he needed for a new beginning. A press conference had been slated to take place in front of The Boutique. Although company sales were mostly online or through distributors, The Boutique gave wealthy women an opportunity to actually try on the newest fashions that the Van de Graaf's designers developed. So now Aleksander would find out whether Mr. Van de Graaf Sr. would allow his son to take on a partner in the company.

Fortunately Aleksander had done a double major in college -- both law school and design, his true passion. His father inadvertently was tricked into becoming the mob’s lawyer, and Aleksander tried to keep distance between them. He made his own fortune, but everyone assumed it must be dirty money. When Ashley’s book came out, the press eagerly attacked him as the wealthy playboy corrupting the innocent girl next door. Now he would have to work hard to gain back respect. Would he and Haley be able to work together smoothly for the success of the company? Would their difficult divorces give them common ground for healing or drive them apart? Or will it be Haley’s greedy ex-husband who drives them apart?

This book had a good story line and strong characters. The book would be improved by an editor to fix the errors which detracted from the reading; hopefully that was taken care of when the book was published. But the story itself is worth reading and I do recommend it.

Single mom Haley had a goal and that was to provide her son with the best life she was able to give him, with a selfish ex that only cared about being able to be back in the game, Haley is doing all she can to be the next needed member to the marketing team, but life has a way of throwing you off course. Aleksander, is needing to reinvent his image and he wants to do that in the only way he know, following his dream of design and his best friend gives him that opportunity, now he just needs to not let his reputation and desires ruin that. Story is engaging, tempting, mouth watering, with enough drama to keep the action going. The characters are very real, and I would just love to hurt the ex's.

Two people wronged by their ex's.
One Haley, a single mother taking night courses to get her marketing degree to better the life for her five year old son.
The other Aleksander, his ex wife wrote and sold a tell all book, making his life bigger and more humiliating than it really was. Making insinuations that he was involved with the Mafia. When in reality his father was a lawyer for the mob. He had a double degree but wants to be in design.
So they both end up a the big mogul who has them working their tales off. They build a bond a trust but people are out to tear them apart, get greedy ex oh yeah he's evil.

Aleksander's image has been ruined by the tell-all put out by his ex. He is trying to move on and re-create himself when he stumbles up Haley. Haley is a single mom who is working hard to be the best she can for herself and her son Peyton. Can these two damaged souls help each other? Can they trust each other to be there when needed? This book is full of drama, romance, and ultimately a HEA that will leaving you glad you read it.

This is a solid enjoyable read – a well written, emotionally deep and beautiful romance! The storyline is well developed and researched, witty with bits of humour thrown in, and a great pace from scene to scene. Amazing characters; the chemistry between them burns hot and is off the charts. The ups and downs and twists and turns add lots of substance to the overall story. This is truly an amazing love story. A well written, emotional and heartwarming story that has complex characters with instant connection that is hot, beautiful and explosive. Aleksander and Haley both have trouble opening up after coming from disastrous marriages. Haley a single mom in marketing and Aleksander, is needing to reinvent his image. When these two finds themselves working together the barriers around their hearts start to crumble. A very entertaining read with a steaming hot storyline.

A Great Book to Read!

Definitely a hot book to read. Haley & Aleksander are a dynamite pair who try so hard to stay apart but are together at every turn. You can't help but fall in love with these two characters. This story has the hot romance, the tears from misunderstandings & break-ups, the ex's of Haley & Aleksander & the turmoil/trouble they cause to them. I would highly recommend this novel as it is a great story to read.

The chemistry is strong between the two of them and when she get the job as his personal assistant they both know that the have to stop and keep things professional. I liked Aleksander and Haley's characters in this book, but the beginning started out kind of slow, so it took some time for me to get into the story. The steaminess was good and entertaining, but I thought the plot had a few holes in it. At times I felt as though this book was translated from a different language. But overall, it was a decent read, and there were parts that I did like., including Leona and her part in the story.

This was Haley and Aleksander’s book. Both have trust issues from the past, they meet and sparks fly. Can they both learn to trust each other and have a happy ever after?

This was a well written book, with a great storyline and great beginning to a series.

This is the kind of story we read a thousand time. Not really sur it deserves a thousand and one. It’s not bad but it’s not great either. She is quiet annoying in her uptight way. He is shallow and inconsistent.

Nothing but fun until you find the right one...
There is nothing better than enjoying the life of playing until it catches up with you and the fun still goes but you're more focused on what you want and how to get it. One great read.

I enjoyed the book, but the pace was a little slow in the beginning. I didn't feel as much hot chemistry between Haley and Aleksander as I thought I would, I wanted Aleksander to be little charming but the story line on the whole was a good read.
