Rate this book
Paprika is living a difficult situation brought on by her father's illness and the complex work situation that awaits her. It's the only kind of business she's not really able to handle: a dinner where being dynamic, kind, and relaxed is just as important as being competent. But there is also another reason why the young and skilled professional is in trouble: she doesn't want to see one of the guests again...

Not quite as good as #1, but still a whole load of fun. This issue focuses more on Paprika and Dill’s relationships with their fathers, who are both demons (you see, Dill is adopted). And it all gets very Freudian.

The main thrust of this issue, however (is Dill and a delivery girl…), seems to be moving the plot along from the end of #1 to the start of #3, which promises Paprika attending a work function, a fancy dinner party, with her ex in attendance. I’m sure that’ll be a riot, but ultimately not a lot actually happens this issue apart from set up. Which would be fine if I was reading this in trade paperback form, but I’m not.

Still, there’s enough here to make it enjoyable, and Andolfo’s absurdly silly, but also sexy, art style is always a lot of fun.

There’s a lot of sex and a lot of humour, so if you like sexy jokes this is definitely the comic for you.

This volume picks up right where we left off. This volume is a bit more interesting because it introduces the fathers of our two main characters. Being shown the father figures of our main characters gives a bit of information about why the main characters behave how they do. They also introduce the mothers of the main characters, but since they aren't the issue, the introductions are much briefer. Also, they introduce Paprika's shitty ex. I hated this guy the second I saw him, so the author did an excellent job, haha. Excited for the next volume!

Graphic novel adorabile, storia frizzante e divertente. Nonostante i toni leggeri, i temi trattati sono interessanti.
