I only read O Holy Night by Pam Godwin and, as such, my rating is solely for that title...

This novella was about the main characters of THIS book (Lessons in Sin), which I heartily enjoyed.

Magnus and Tinsley have so much amazing chemistry and I loved getting more of them in this story. As a novella, it was of course very short; however, I think the point of anthologies like this (especially Christmas anthologies) is to give the reader just a little taste of characters they are (most likely) already familiar with, almost like a bonus epilogue of sorts - and so I enjoyed this for what it was.

If you haven't read Lessons in Sin, I can't say exactly how this would pan out for you, but I still think it would have promise.

I’ve only read Sam Mariano’s story so far. It was quick, steamy, and entertaining.

I’m giving this 5 stars because it was FREE, and I don’t think it’s ever going to cost so I don’t think there’s anything wrong with giving it a 5 based on one short story 😂

Someone else stated that some of the stories are just a few chapters of a different book, but the Sam Mariano one was complete i believe. 🤷🏽‍♀️

4 'Morelli Christmas ball' Stars!

Every year around Christmas time I get in the mood for anthologies. It's also a great time to do it because many of my favorite authors (a new ones to me as well) collaborate in several projects involving novellas. I have been reading all the stories in Meet Me Under the Mistletoe during the past week and I have to say I enjoyed many of them.

If you follow the Morelli's stories and the interconnected stories these authors have been giving us, you have to check this anthology for sure! I did have favorites, especially Pam Godwin's story and Maria Luis's too (which was definitely a surprise since I haven't read anything yet by this author!). Here you have all my ratings, but I hope you give this collection a go!

Hallelujah by Skye Warren: 4 'whipped cream' Stars!
O Come All Ye Faithful by Amelia Wilde: 4.5 'a miracle' Stars!
Baby, It’s Cold Outside by Giana Darling: 4.5 'lottatrice' Stars!
This Christmas by Theodora Taylor: 3 'secret admirer' Stars!

Oh my, this was such a steamy and delectable little treat. I'd forgotten the magnetic and intense presence the former Father Magnus has on the page. I'm reminded now!! This was a great check in with our favorite forbidden couple. It's two years after the ending of Lessons in Sin, it's Christmas time, and someone has tried to kill Tinsley Falke. Magnus is murderous and supremely dedicated to her protection.

I loved getting to spend time with this couple again. Really, I could read another 500 pages in their world. I love their dynamic and how it hasn't changed a bit regardless of the fact that they're married now.

Even though I knew this was a novella going into it, I do wish it would've been a tiny bit longer. There was a really decent suspense subplot that I massively enjoyed and would have loved to have seen drawn out further. But really, I am just greedy for this world and these characters so it's never going to be enough for me!

"She was my greatest gift on the holiest night. And I was her lesson in sin."

I received an advanced e-ARC of this book rom the author in exchange for an honest review.

Review of O Holy Night by Pam Godwin.

"Behaving had never been my strong suit."

She's back! Tinsley once again doing her own thing. The unpredictability of this girl is what I like the most. She's smart, outspoken, and humorous. You'll just never know what she'll do next. That's why Magnus gets his hands full with this one. When Tinsley became obedient, Magnus is worried something is up and he may not like it. Oh and she's up to something alright.

WOW! That was short, sexy, and filthy from one of my favorite couples this year Tinsley and Magnus. I thoroughly enjoyed this sinful novella. If you want more of Tinsley and Magnus, I highly recommend Lesson in Sin. An age-gap romance that is forbidden, sensual, addictive, and a page-turner.

4.5 ★

Two years later in the storyline, we are reunited with Magnus and Tinsley during the Christmas season. After a death threat to Tinsley, Magnus will do anything to protect his wife. What occurs shows how Magnus and Tinsley have become equal partners.

“It was all I’d wanted since I first laid eyes on her. When she was forbidden. She still felt forbidden, spread beneath me on the altar, impaled by my cock.”

In this short story, Magnus continues to be demanding and Tinsley an entertaining handful. With just enough action and a heaping dose of sexual chemistry, O Holy Night is a perfectly wrapped holiday read.

O Holy Night by Pam Godwin was sensational! I loved revisiting Tinsley and Father Magnus's passionate and explosive relationship. Love at it's best, all consuming, with breath gasping, off the charts romance! Makes me want to read Lessons in Sin again to revisit where it all began.
Silver Bells by Alta Hensley was spectacular! Introducing Nick and Lyriope as the next couple in this world. Nick has a proposal for Lyriope and she would be foolish not to accept, as it is life or death.
I need to hear more about this couple!
Hallelujah by Skye Warren was fabulous! She gives a teaser of Finn and Eva's story, a buildup of the secrets that Eva holds and Finn promises to uncover. I loved seeing Bryant get his comeuppance.
I am excited to read more about this couple!

Title: O Holy Night
Author: Pam Godwin
Genre: Erotic Romance
Type: Standalone novella from Meet Me Under the Mistletoe anthology
POV: First Person - Dual
Rating:

It's the most wonderful time of the year but for Tinsley Constantine and Magnus Faulk, dealing with her family is a matter of survival. And things became even more complicated when the enemies thirst for more.

Wrenching moans from my throat, conquering me with every plunge, he took me with skill and purpose. He gave me the fantasy. He was my religion.

For a short novella, this one was packed with a satisfying plot and a good dose of heat. It was good to get back to Tinsley and Magnus, with special treats with the appearance of other characters in the Midnight Dynasty world.

Note: O Holy Night is a part of Meet Me Under the Mistletoe anthology from the Midnight Dynasty world. It can be read as a standalone without reading the couple's full-length book Lessons in Sin.

When the chance presented itself to read more of Tinsley and Magnus I couldn’t let it by without grabbing it.

Even with a few lines and a short story Ms Godwin delivers a deliciously sexy interlude, Tinsley and Magnus relationship is as strong as ever, their bond unbreakable, the amount of steam will warm your body fighting off the first chills Autumn brings.

Tinsley reminded me how much I like her persona, her way not to give a damn and how she never bends to the whims of her mother.

Magnus is sinfully hot, his protective side such a turn on, they way he empowers his companion such an endearing trait to his personality.

You can read Tinsley and Magnus story in 𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑺𝒊𝒏 although it’s not necessary to enjoy this short story, I’d strongly recommend to indulge, to miss out the full length novel would be a sin…

Yasss, TT has done it again with her flawed H/h in 'This Christmas!'

'This Christmas' in this diverse anthology was a very engaging tease read for Josh and Neisha's upcoming story. You might remember Josh from his brother Sawyer's story with quirky Willa in His Everlasting Love.

Ice Block aka Josh and the speechwriter heroine, Neisha will keep you intrigued and guessing but that ending to this tease will leave you knowing that nothing will come easy in their relationship. Nothing!

Looking forward to reading their story soon...in His Secret Love.

Pam Godwin!! I was so excited when she let me know that she wrote a short story about the characters in Lessons in Sin. It is called O Holy Night....Magnus and Tinsley are just as hot now as they were in the other book. Magnus is still so protective and I love it. This book was hot, loving with some mystery thrown it. So good !!!!

I’m going to slowly update my review as I go, for each story. This is a holiday anthology, with some characters from the midnight dynasty world.

Wrapped in Red Sam Mariano:
Office Romance!
Georgia is Lee’s assistant!
Oh my sweet baby Jesus, I picked a good one to start with! So, I love Mariano’s writing, I fell in love with her when I first read untouchable. So when I saw that she has a story in the midnight dynasty world, I had to get my hands on it! This story has the same intensity she often writes, aggressive alpha hero who may or may not take no for an answer. Lee is defiantly a softer version of some of her heroes, but he’s so broody and intense and charming… ugh! I loved the sexual tension radiating off of Georgia and Lee… the passion hiding within them! This story made me genuinely happy by the end.. gosh this story was total swoon!

O Holy Night by: Pam Godwin
Tinsley and Magnus’ story from Lessons in Sin.

So… what’s there to say?

It’s a lovely collection of stories but the issue I have with stories like that is the way they’re compacted. Each writer wants to say as much and as little as they need to entice you to read more of their books, with maybe 20-30 available pages and you end up frustrated as there’s so much missing. And I understand that’s what they wanted to achieve but I’m just here underwhelmed.

So why 4 stars and not less? Because as much as I hate anthologies, I love the authors that wrote them 😂

Christmas- with my favorite fictional book world?! It's a Christmas miracle- the perfect salaciously delicious present under the tree.

Pam Godwin treats us with a visit back to one of my favorite couples EVER- Magnus and Tinsley from Lessons in Sin, arguably one of the best contributions to the Midnight Dynasty magic. Of course, this novella is deliciously steamy, full of broody and possessive alpha swagger from our naughty priest as he seeks to protect his precious Constantine princess from the always looming threat of the maniacal Morelli machinations, this time in the form of a mysterious Christmas ball. This capitalizes on everything I loved about their original story- it's sensual but also emotionally sumptuous. What a yummy little morsel.

And Giana Darling collides two worlds in her novella- which focuses on Elena and Dante from her Anti-Heroes in Love Duet/Lombardi world, but she has them intersecting with Tiernan Morelli, her soon to be anti-hero in the upcoming Dangerous Temptation, the first of Giana's contributions to the Midnight Dynasty world. Not only is this an interesting introduction to a Morellis we know little about, but it also a welcomed visit with one of my favorite Giana couples in their post-HEA bliss. We're immediately consumed back into the passionate intensity of this magnetic couple and are reminded yet again how deeply their epic love story had the power to move mountains- and heal their hearts. And also Dante continues to be so damn yummy. If I wasn't already excited about Tiernan story, this would do the trick (but I'm already ravenous for it).

I can not WAIT to dig into the rest of these shorts- especially some of the authors that I adore (like Sam Mariano) whose foray into the Midnight Dynasty world is still a bit of a mystery- are these contained shorts or tantalizing appetizers of full-length stories we'll see in the future. Either way, this world and these authors is truly the perfect Christmas treat. I'm more than jolly for this decadent assortment of some of dark romance's finest authors!

This anthology was quite the mixed bag. The good stories are very good. But it also included three prequels, which means no HEA or HFN, and therefore aren’t romances. I hate when authors do that in anthologies! Give me a complete story. There was one exception to my prequel frustrations: Silver Bells. I haven’t read Alta Hensley before but she managed to get me on board and hungry for more of the story.

The rest of the stories qualify as romance but a lot are follow ups with characters from something else the author has written, which is super hit or miss if I haven’t read the original. The standalone stories were more successful for me, as well as those where the bulk of the story took place at the party.

I really appreciated the premise of all the stories being set around the Morelli Christmas party. This is connected to the Dark Fairy Tales anthology but it’s not all the same authors or characters. I’m curious if there will be another Morelli/Constantine party anthology in the future.

Hallelujah by Skye Warren: 3 stars
I was into this but then it turned out it’s a prequel. No HEA or HFN. I typically enjoy this author but I’m not intrigued enough by Eva and Finn to seek out their book. We’re barely told anything about them but they do have chemistry in spades and a possibly great external conflict.

Characters: Eva is a white woman. Finn is a 29 year old (possibly bisexual) man.

Content notes: physically abusive father, physical assault, codependency (whole family covers for father), sexism, gender essentialist language, ableist language, working in kitchen compared to “slaving”

O Come All Ye Faithful by Amelia Wilde: 4 stars
Hot interlude but not a standalone. There are vague references to how Leo and Haley met and past bad things in Secret Beast, which was a little frustrating. The sex scenes were on fire so I’m glad I read it.

Characters: Haley and Leo are both white.

Content notes: anxiety, BDSM, on page sex, impact play, alcohol, inebriation (secondary character), classist insult (countered), ableist language, references to vague past Bad Things (possibly abuse of some kind or other trauma)

Baby, It’s Cold Outside by Giana Darling: 3 stars
Definite emphasis on holiday story—it’s all setting things up for Darling’s next book, while ostensibly giving readers a glimpse at how Elena and Dante are doing. Granted, Tiernan’s plight is intriguing. I haven’t read Elena and Dante’s book so I know nothing about them, but I wish this had been more focused on the couple. We get some hot outside winter sex but I really didn’t like If not for that choice, I probably would have rated this a bit higher.

Characters: Elena is a 32 year old white Italian criminal defense lawyer. Dante is a white Italian mafia boss. They have an adopted daughter named Aurora.

Content notes: secondary character with scarred cheek (dad abused him), infertility, miracle baby epilogue, on page sex, makeshift gag, ableist language, reference to FMC killing her abusive father (past)

This Christmas by Theodora Taylor: 1 star
This did not work for me at all. Beyond that, the plot and characterization were very thin. I didn’t like the vagueness of Josh’s political party or ambitions. There’s no such thing as political neutrality in this day and age. This is even more true because I think his love interest is Black (it’s never stated but there were brief context clues) and he’s white. I hope it's not a mixed political affiliation relationship because I can’t buy that at all, especially if he wants her to be his speechwriter. If you’re going to make a main character a politician, then just be upfront about who they are.

Characters: Josh is an “almost 40” white Congressman, lawyer, and former Navy SEAL.

Content notes: ableism (implication FMC’s mother is mentally ill and so is she), military deployment, past bullying, masturbation, on page sex, “manhood” used as euphemism, ableist language, mention of past death of MMC’s mother (alcoholic), reference to a past orphan hostage rescue mission

Wrapped in Red by Sam Mariano: 2 stars
Promising writing but the workplace power dynamics were a mess. Even if I could buy into the fantasy of that, I couldn’t get over

Characters: Georgia is a white executive assistant. Lee is her white boss.

Content notes: MMC almost rapes FMC (flashback), MMC is divorced (ex cheated and she took her daughter, whom he’d raised since she was a baby, with her), on page sex, unprotected sex (no pregnancy results), alcohol, inebriation, ableist language, gender essentialist language, mention of domestic violence shelter (donations)

O Holy Night by Pam Godwin: 3 stars
As much as I love Sierra Simone’s Priest and Tiffany Reisz’s Original Sinners series, I had a hunch Godwin’s priest romance would not be for me and this sequel confirms it. Perhaps there was more reckoning with breaking vows, sleeping with a student, and where that fits within the context of the Catholic church in that book but I doubt it, given there is altar sex in this book because they want to recreate how they got together. And look, I’m not going to kink-shame Tinsley or Magnus for that or anyone else who gets off on it. The sex scenes are hot. But the former student part crosses a line for me, especially when one person was a priest and their teacher at the time. Too many taboos at once.

All that aside, someone wants to off Tinsley as a way of getting revenge against Magnus. He was apparently a real vindictive asshole before his priest days and this person has popped up out of the woodwork in ways that didn’t make much sense to me. I guess I’m more of a “kill the person who screwed me over” kind of a person instead of killing someone who matters them. The real issue I had, however, was the ableism, implying the person wanting revenge was mentally ill, when there’s no evidence. We really need to do away with the Mentally Ill Villain trope. This was also the literal embodiment of the Evil Ex trope, which I hate. Frankly, based on what Magnus did to that person, he deserved any revenge he got. Tinsley didn’t deserve an attempt on her life but I had trouble feeling any sympathy for him and so the resolution didn’t have the power the author was going for.

Godwin is one compelling author though so that’s why this is getting 3 stars in spite of all the things that didn’t work for me. Tinsley also gets major points for figuring out a way to broker peace between at least Magnus and Lucian, even if their parents are a lost cause.

Characters: Tinsley is a (possibly 20 year old) white wild animal rescuer. Magnus is a businessman and former priest. There’s a 20 year age gap between them.

Content notes: attempted poisoning, MMC was FMC’s Catholic school teacher and priest, Mentally Ill Villain trope, Evil Ex trope, fatphobia (countered), past murder of FMC’s father, on page sex, altar sex, brief pain play, spanking, sadism, alcohol, inebriation, ableist language, gendered insults, gender essentialist language

Santa Baby by Claire Contreras: 3 stars
Very cool to get a spin off story from The Player! Vanessa is Camila’s sister. This is a second chance romance between Vanessa and her ex-husband Adam. The central issue between them needed more room to breathe than a short story can provide. It was hard for me to root for her to get back together with him when the reason they got divorced is that he didn’t want to have children and she did. He’s the one that filed. Now he wants to get back together…but still didn’t want to have kids with her. That didn’t make any sense to me. Of course, he changed his mind but that felt too fast to be believable, since his main reason for not wanting to have kids is because they had a stillbirth before and he was scared. People generally can’t switch their fear off like that, especially without having had any therapy. I bought their connection but it all needed more time to develop.

Characters: Vanessa is a Dominican American 4th grade teacher. Adam is a white man.

Content notes: past stillbirth, epilogue baby, planned C-section, past divorce, on page sex, ableist language

Last Christmas by Katee Robert: 4 stars
An O’Malleys story! Technically, I think it's part of the Scandalous Scions series, which is about the second generation, but I’ve only read the original. Either way, this is about Cael (not sure which O’Malley is his father) and it stands on its own just fine. Katee really pushed my boundaries here because normally I would not root for a second chance romance between two people who cheated with each other. When Cael and Eleanor got together the first time, Eleanor was very much married to her husband. I don’t care if it was a bad marriage. She should have left him. But here I was, totally rooting for these two.

Eleanor cut things off with Cael a year prior at the last Morelli Christmas party. Her husband died of some incurable disease six months ago, which was the reason she broke things off with Cael, instead of leaving her husband. Of course, neither have forgotten each other in the intervening year and they can’t help but get it on at the party. I loved that this is an age-gap where the woman is older. However, I did not love that Overall, a great hot read!

Characters: Cael is a 27 year old white man whose family is Irish mafia. Eleanor is a 47 year old white Senator’s widow who runs a nonprofit.

Content notes: past infidelity (FMC cheated on her husband with MMC), death of husband six months ago (incurable disease, no specifics given), on page sex, degradation kink, unprotected sex

Disclosure: I’m friendly with the author.

Little Drummer Boy by M. O’Keefe: 5 stars
I loved this one! I have a lot of questions (why does she need to know how to fight, what do they do for a living, what was Belhaven and why did Jacob go to Zilla’s room there) but I don’t care because it’s Molly O’Keefe and it’s gritty and hot. I was just looking at Ruined the other night (Zilla is Poppy’s sister) and now I definitely have to read it soon. Maybe that will give me a little more context about these two.

Characters: Zilla is a white woman (maybe neurodivergent, maybe some mental illness—it’s not clear but people seem to have told her she’s different.) Jacob is a white former Marine.

Content notes: dubious consent/MMC says he could rape FMC , image-based sexual assault of off-page character , touch aversion/repulsion (not explained much but MMC is in control of what touch he wants), alcohol, cocaine (secondary character), MMC’s father had PTSD, mentions of past panic attacks, gendered insult (countered), references to family members who served in Vietnam and Korean wars

It Came Upon a Midnight Clear by Jenika Snow: DNF early in chapter 2
This is a sequel to a book I haven’t read. The writing wasn’t doing anything for me (very tell, no show) and the MMC was incredibly over-possessive and one note. I didn’t buy what the FMC was trying to sell about him.

Characters: Galina is a white woman. Arlo is a white Russian crime syndicate fixer.

Content notes: MMC murders for a living, past murder and torture on FMC’s behalf (including her father), on page sex, alcohol, mention that FMC’s father sold her virginity (past), ableist language

Carol of the Bells by Maria Luis: 4.5 stars
I have not read this author before but I will be rectifying that soon! Great writing, fantastic chemistry. I loved the push and pull between Laela and Reid. The tension never quit, not while Reid’s identity was a mystery and not once Laela figured out who he was. It would have been interesting to see one of the many hundreds of emails they exchanged, especially to help me believe the sudden declarations of love at the end, but I found this to be incredibly hot and riveting.

However, I did find it troubling that she entered his hotel room without permission while he was away. She at least acknowledged she’s violating her own hotel policies. But Reid being okay with it (she tells him while they’re on the phone) does not make it okay.

Characters: Laela is a 32 year old white hotel and resort president. Reid is a 36 year old white

Content notes: father in prison for murdering a judge’s wife (he was a crime boss), past death of mother, on page sex, D/s, alcohol, gender essentialist language, ableist language

Silent Night by Sienna Snow: 1 star
I think they were supposed to come across as having a passionate, fiery relationship but they just came across as toxic and immature to me.

Characters: Olympia is a Greek underground poker game organizer and botanical garden horticulturist. Simon is a Greek (mobster?).

Content notes: high stakes gambling, on page sex, D/s, edging, humiliation kink, alcohol, ableist language

Away in a Manger by Jade West: 2 stars
All of these stories have made me curious about Lucian and Elaine’s story so I was excited when I saw their names. This followup story takes place 5 years after their book left off. Unfortunately, this was on the disjointed side and I did not understand any of Lucian’s actions regarding the trespasser situation. But I’m still intrigued enough about them as a couple that I’ll probably give their book a try at some point. Elaine wears the gold dress from the night they met and they appear to do a little recreation, which had me intrigued.

Characters: Elaine and Lucian are both white. They have a toddler son named Arlo.

Content notes: trespasser, on page sex, rough sex, D/s, humiliation kink, mild breeding kink, alcohol, cigarettes, ableist language

All I Want for Christmas Is You by M. Robinson: 1 star
I was not feeling this entitled quarterback MMC or the writing style…and then it turned out to be another prequel story. Seriously annoying. No HEA or HFN. Plus, the FMC was coming across as Not Like Other Girls.

Characters: Jax is a 34 year old quarterback. Sophie is a 22 year old white woman.

Content notes: MMC is mostly estranged from parents, alcohol, gender essentialist language, ableist language

Silver Bells by Alta Hensley: 5 stars
Here’s the one exception to my “no prequels in romance anthologies” rule and I’m not entirely sure how Alta Hensley did it. This was long enough and developed enough that it whet my appetite for a longer story. Plus, it almost ends on an HFN: Lyriope and Nick have made a deal to save her life and they’re going to see each other again, even if they go their separate ways for now. I will totally read their book because I'm dying to know what happens next.

Characters: Lyriope is white and a virgin. She’s the daughter of Bryant Morelli’s mistress. Nick is a white underground leader and club owner.

Content notes: FMC has a bounty on her head, family debt, alcohol, on page sex, dubious consent (MMC will save her life if she has sex with him), gender essentialist language, ableist language

Title: O Holy Night
Author: Pam Godwin
Genre: Erotic Romance
Type: Standalone novella from Meet Me Under the Mistletoe anthology
POV: First Person - Dual.

”With power and wealth came dangerous enemies.”

O Holy Night is a short story from Meet Me Under the Mistletoe anthology. We get to see Tinsley Constantine and Magnus Faulk once again two years after their full length story in Lessons in Sin.

“He took me with skill and purpose. He gave me the fantasy. He was my religion.”

This novella was packed with action, sex, and great suspense in such a short time during the holiday season. The story was well developed and was absolutely great even thought it was short it felt complete. Readers looking for a quick steamy holiday novella will find this book appealing.

…This was a F(BR) with CC & War…

O HOLY NIGHT by Pam Godwin

"She was my Christmas gift on the holiest night. And I was her lessons in sin."

Christmas will be extra special this year, since I'm in the mood for some real holiday sizzle straight off Santa's Naughty & Nice list, thanks to stocking stuffer anthology “Meet Me Under The Mistletoe” that releases 10/12/2021 with stories from 11 favorite authors. Don’t miss Pam Godwin’s short novella O Holy Night -- a tasty morsel of holiday pleasure and wicked danger with something “extra naughty” for those kinky, age-gap LESSONS IN SIN lovers, Father Magnus and Tinsley. I can’t get enough of them. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – where Tinsley goes, trouble follows.

You know what this short novella made me want to do? Indulge in another face-fanning re-read of Lessons In Sin for more of the erotic hotness of Magnus and Tinsley. That couple is pure fire. Married and as perversely horny as ever, their pulse-pounding love hasn’t slowed down a lick. It’s that festive time of year with fancy parties, family issues, deals to be made, a pushy mother … oh, and someone wants sweet Tinsley dead. There are plenty of surprises and a cast of mostly familiar characters to solve this mystery, but the hottest ex-priest hubby this side of carnal perfection will do anything to protect his beloved wife that steals the show and makes me pant. It all comes to a head with Tinsley as the belle of the ball where danger lurks, even as this couple’s eyes never stray far from each other in a night of revelry that neither will forget.

No one does visceral descriptions like PG. She puts me totally in the moment of emotion, reality and seductive, button-pushing sex. The clock is ticking and the hunt is on to wrap up this mystery in time for the lovers to meet under the mistletoe …

O Holy Night - Pam Godwin

Review :

Tinsley and Magnus are back! I never knew that I needed so much more of these two until I met them. This book was definitely one of my top reads by this author and I can't even tell you how much I love these characters!

This was a short tale as a part of an anthology featuring multiple authors. It shows us a glimpse of Tinsley and Magnus's life after the ending of their own book and I loved it. Definitely recommending it to all the lovers of LESSONS IN SIN by Pam Godwin!

Review for "O Holy Night" by Pam Godwin

"You've left me with a raging ache in my balls and a hard-on that will surely clear out the lobby."

Oh how I've missed Tinsley and Magnus's banter. If you've read "Lessons in Sin" then you know what I'm talking about and if you haven't, then what are you waiting for?

This novella was a great balance of story and steam. Full of banter and remarks that cemented this couple as one of my fave's of 2021.

Tinsley is still the handful that Magnus is trying to control and when Tinsley's life is in danger then Magnus's protective nature kicks in.

"You'll always be my priest." Fuck me to hell, I love this wicked woman.

Fantastic short read set over the holiday season.

Couldn't finish. Three stories in a row about rich and powerful people with violent tendencies that flavour even their sex lives. Zero appeal, especially packaged as what appears to be Christmas tales.

Hallelujah by Skye Warren

Skye, you have my attention. I am so excited to read more of Finn Hughes and Eva Morelli's story in the future. Since Leo and Daphne are now preoccupied with their own love lives, it's finally her turn. With this delicious preview, I can sense that there is more to Finn and Eva than meets the eye. Eva has always been known to be the reliable/dependable older sister with a dark secret. She will do anything to keep it. Finn is new to me but I can definitely see the sparks between him and Eva. Finn comes across as someone who may seem flippant at first but he is quite charming and serious about his intentions regarding Eva. There is a darkness to him that we have yet to scratch the surface to. I'm certainly looking forward to more from these two.

O Come All Ye Faithful by Amelia Wilde

This was such a cute and sexy novella that provides us with a brief glimpse into the lives of Haley and Leo as a couple after the events of Fallen Rose. For those who have read the trilogy, these two have gone through so many trials and tribulations to be together. This is what happens after "The End" and I'm happy to say that not much has changed for these two. They're still so deeply in love with each other and their passions still run high. We also get a brief glimpse of what was going on with Daphne and her "Collector." I was pleasantly surprised to realize that the timeline of this story was happening concurrently with Dark Reign.

O Holy Night by Pam Godwin

This takes place after the events of Lessons in Sin and I'm happy to report that Tinsley Constantine is still adorable, bratty, snarky, and loveable as always. Tinsley and Magnus' story was one of my favorite reads this year and this novella did not disappoint. I love this couple so much. They're so completely obsessed and possessive of each other. Magnus is sexy as hell and has a mean streak but Tinsley will always be his exception. This short story was everything I wanted and more. I'm so happy to read what happened after their happily ever after ending.

It Came Upon A Midnight Clear by Jenika Snow

You might want a cup a water nearby because Galina and Arlo's story was short but extremely hot and sexy. I was shocked by how explicit it got but this short story certainly made me more intrigued about them as a couple and now I'm curious to know how they met. There really wasn't anything unique about the story because it features the typical alpha Russian hero who is extremely obsessed and possessive of his heroine but I do have to admit that the smut was excellent lol. I'm not new to Jenika Snow and she really knows how to write explicit love scenes that will leave you hot and bothered.

Well, I don’t know what else is in this anthology since I was just here to read Sam Mariano’s holiday grocery list….

Anywho, Sam’s contribution, Wrapped in Red, was fantastic. Carter and Zoe and Caleb make cameos.

Actual footage of me when Sam just gives a fleeting description of Carter mfing Mahoney clenching Zoe’s waist:

No chill.

None.

Bottom Line? Classic Mariano. Cute sexy story with an aggressive, calm cool and collected, possessive, manipulative H and a sweet h. And Carter. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🤷🏼‍♀️

I need Caleb’s book right this second. Mmkthxbye.

⚠️SAFETY SQUAD SPOILERS⚠️

- no cheating or sharing

- H is married at the beginning, and he gets aggressive with the h… but he’s actually recently separated - H dances with someone else at a party and the h gets jealous.

- h flirts with Caleb (restaurant guy) - H gets jealous

- neither the h or H are virgins - don’t remember ages

- dubcon ish

O Holy Night by Pam Godwin
In this novella, Mrs Godwin transports us back into Tinsley and Magnus' universe. Don't worry, if you haven't read Lessons in Sin, you will still be able to enjoy O Holy Night.

Fast paced, ultra sexy, mysterious, this tale is a candy I devored in no time, the thrilling atmosphere that gripped me from the first page.

Happy reading!

My review is for O Holy Night by Pam Godwin:

This was a delicious, little taste of Tinsley & Magnus from Lessons in Sin. I haven’t read Lessons in Sin yet, but I sure as hell want to and need to ASAP. Passion and drama and suspense were plentiful, along with the tingle-inducing naughtiness that Ms. Godwin always writes so well. I was happily sated after reading this short story. I look forward to reading the others in this anthology.
