Professor Keleeigan sat over one of his consoles in his adapted lab tweaking several wave guides on the display. He felt a slight shiver as the temperature started to drop. He brushed a loch of white hair behind his ear as rolled his chair over the ancient wood floor and picked up a tiny chip no larger than his fingernail. Fresh solder fumes wafted up his nose as he installed it within one of the open systems on the table. The status lights on the side continued to flash orange.
When the lights finally turn green, everything seemed ready.
