The four basic ninja rules jump-start the new students in becoming successful ninjas. Character building and kindness are beautifully woven into this fun story. A great tool to inspire any child.
This book is super inspiring for young ninjas in training. It teaches about the rules of being a good ninja which can translate to other lessons and passions in life. It also teaches about respect, which is really lacking in a lot of school's curriculum these days. This is a great book to teach kids about how to succeed.
Sophie and Lucas are attending their first class of ninja training. They are both nervous and excited.
The instructors enter the room and assign a series of simple tasks that focus on the first four rules of ninja training. They are respect, focus, self-confidence, and showing kindness.
This book is an excellent choice for children interested in martial arts training. It presents them with the principles upon which the skills are based. In addition, it teaches basic social emotional skills necessary for elementary school readers to learn before moving on to the challenges of peer pressure in middle school.
Highly recommended as an introduction to martial arts training for children, and for adults who may be interested in learning more about it.
This was a really fun book to read with the grandkids. A book about confidence, kindness, respect and focus. My granddaughters we’re busy figuring out the color of the ninja uniform they would like to wear. They were happy to see the Coco had a pink one at the end of the book. The grandsons wanted to go out in the garage and find some boards so they could break boards like they did in the book. All in all though everyone enjoyed the entire book, you just wanted to take Lucas under your wing and help him along in his journey. We all enjoyed and recommend this book.
This is a great book to read. It had multiple lessons that are important for all kids (and even adults.) Lucas is starting his first day of ninja school and he is worried and nervous. He wants to do well but doesn’t know if he will. Soon, his instructors will teach him and his friends four important lessons.
This story had a great flow from beginning to end. I liked the use of ninja school to teach these lessons. The illustrations are bright and color and support the story well. Must read!
What I really loved about this book was that it was different to any of the books we have. I have a son who is quite reserved, just like Lucas, so this really resonated with me. It gave me a really great opportunity to teach him that we all sometimes can feel nervous or a bit afraid, but putting ourselves out there can feel really good. This book has lots of little lessons too, like learning respect and supporting our friends. Another great book by Kim!
Being an adult who had trouble learning focus and ultimately breaking a board with my hand, I applaud this author for teaching youngsters these valuable life lessons at their young age! Done with such kind characters and patient teachers, this is a fun yet educational read. Bravo!
This book has incredibly important message for young kids. Being respectful, focused, confident and kind is a universal formula of success in life. My 5 year old son was very excited to read this story. I definitely recommend this book for kids who strive to be their best.
Any child interested in the Ninja world will love this book. I love how it tells a story but teaches kids about focus/confidence and believing in ones self. The illustrations are great and totally relatable to kids. My son loved it!
This book uses some of the disciplines of being a ninja (respect, focus, confidence and kindness) and shares examples of how they can be applied to every day life.
What a fantastic story about believing in oneself and others! My son really liked this story - he loves ninjas and immediately identified with Lucas since he is also shy and takes karate to help build his muscle strength and balance as part of his therapy.
Read this to our older son and he said he thinks he can break a board now too! He loved the book and I loved that his confidence grew as we read. He struggles with being brave so this was a perfect read. Plus his little brothers name was one of the characters too!
Ninja School Rules is an excellent book written by Kim Ann an illustrated by Neil’s Shojaie. It has so many great lessons for children regarding listening, focusing, positive self talk, and working together. I highly recommend Ninja School Rules.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was great and teaches children a lot! It teaches them how to be a ninja, but also just life lessons to take with them everywhere they go! Great book and message :)
Held my granddaughter’s interest while teaching a lesson that toddlers could understand. She loved the story and the characters. I enjoyed her questions.
