We get many answers, So much bonding of Cecily with her guys, Loving & Reunions! It's so swoony & emotional 😍💞! C & our guys are such great rulers of shifters!

The Final battle with Silas was edgy! I was scared, but it all worked out wonderfully! I loved that HEA & epilogue! I'm so happy & excited for more by Leah!

70% in 6hrs! OMG, this is such an amazing ride, I'm so happy for Cecily & her mates...She'd finally completed her bonds!
But OMG, it's way to war & revenge, let's see what happens!

This book felt like it had so much filler. At the start of it, Cecily has gathered all her mates, and then it's just a matter of having sex with each of them in order to bond them. She already had sex with Derrick and Klaus in the previous book, so now it's Alex, William, and Marcus left. Her mother had told her that it's vital she should solidify the bonds as soon as possible, but there is no urgency to Cecily's actions at all, as I mentioned in my review of book 2. I wanted to smack her and get her to hurry up!

She doesn't want to have sex with them just for the sake of the bond, this I can understand, but she's a damned queen and the future of the realm depends on her, you'd think the weight of all that responsibility she's been brought up with would take over and she would do what she has to do. Nope.

We have weeks of training and trying to hack into Silas' firewalls and meeting a random coven of witches and redecorating the castle. Did I say filler? Yeah.

Weirdly, we suddenly get a chapter in Silas' POV telling us how he lost his magic and turned bad. And then Cecily and the guys seem to know what happened, cos Cecily alludes to it later, but we don't know how she finds out.

I feel like she underestimated Silas and the last battle was extremely anticlimactic. She just stands there and lets him spew out his vitriol, drawing things out, getting lost in a daydream about how she wants to tear him apart and make him feel a fraction of the pain he has caused. She's not even focused! She decides not to call down judgement upon him by the Fates because she wants revenge and wants to punish him herself, but when push comes to shove, she's all talk and no action. She gave him time to carry out his plans instead of striking first. It was so stupid.

There didn't even need to be a fight; if she can freeze people and cast a spell to stop Silas from speaking, she could have overpowered him with magic in an instant. But not only does she just stand there and do nothing, she actually takes time out to heal a shifter who is stuck in wolf form. So imagine this: you are surrounded by enemy troops, you're facing off with your most powerful enemy, and you take your eyes off him and off the imminent battle to ask a wolf what's wrong and have a whole conversation while healing her. Yes, I do think Cecily is stupid.

And if the magic bubble is supposed to prevent the use of magic, then why is it all Silas' spells and his blood-spelled concoctions still worked? So I'm just rolling my eyes. A climactic scene ought to be satisfying, a triumph of good over evil, yet in this book, it wasn't. Cecily very nearly lost, and in fact, I feel that she won out of pure luck. In the end, all the emphasis on making sure she had a strong bond with her mates and on her having such powerful magic was for naught, cos her powers did zilch. They were useless, as she didn't bother to use them when it counted. And she couldn't even savour the fact that she had conquered her enemy, cos the win was tainted.

I generally liked all the guys except Alex. He never grew on me and he was so juvenile I couldn't tell why Cecily liked him. I had the softest spot for William because of his history with her and his steadfastness throughout all the years. But I didn't fall in love with any of them nor want any of them as my book boyfriend.

As I mentioned in my reviews of the first two books, the guys are generally childish. Like, when Cecily eats a bite of a chocolate cheesecake and says it's like a mouth orgasm, Marcus instantly grabs the plate from her and dumps the slice of cake in the trash. She takes the rest of the cake out of the fridge to cut herself another slice, and he swipes his hand across the counter, pushing the glass container off so it shatters on the floor and the cake splatters everywhere. And what caused this rude and violent behaviour?

“You said it was giving your mouth an orgasm,” he states as if that’s enough explanation and I should understand exactly where he’s coming from. I wave my hand in a motion telling him to keep going. He rolls his eyes before saying, “So your mates are the only ones allowed to give you orgasms, Babe. You should know this already.”

Does the author think this is cute? I know jealous/possessive guys are in vogue right now but this is taking it too far, being envious of a slice of cake baked in the palace kitchen! It wasn't even sent by a secret admirer or something! Childish behaviour and utterly unadmirable.

Overall, this series was a disappointing read, and nothing is even mentioned about the humans who had kept Cecily in the lab and experimented on her for the last 150 years. Cecily and the guys seem to have conveniently forgotten them; no revenge is taken, no attempt to bring them down so that they cannot ever experiment on another person again. A loose end that was disappointingly never tried up.

I really liked this series. Like I read all the books so quickly including this final one. I loved seeing the bonds progress (Alex may be my favorite) and watching them turn into a family. That epilogue was amazing and will probably live in my head rent free. I’m happy with how this turned out and am glad I read the series!!

This is getting four stars because some of this felt like filler but overall I still really liked it. I loved Cecily and her men so I’m not mad about it. I do wish we found out more about the scientists, after she was rescued in book one we never went back to that story line.

⭐️ 𝙀𝙙𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙨 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩. ⭐️

Genre/Tropes: PNR, RH, Fated Mates
POV: 1st, Multiple (mostly Cecily)
Series: Precarious Shifters, Book 3
STEAM LEVEL: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

When I first started this journey with Cecily and her guys, I had no idea just how complex and interwoven the plot was with the characters and settings. The simplest phrase in this series could have such an important impact in another part of the story. From the memories and experiences to the incredible emphasis on feelings and tangible items, this world was just…magical.

I’m not going into detail because SO MANY things are hidden throughout the series and this book brings it all together. Some things I saw coming, some things surprised me. I loved the pop culture references, the quirky humor, and while there were moments of heavy tension, the lighter side of the romance and plot balanced it really well. I cackled a few times.

The steam was awwweesssome. NO mM action because Cecily is EVERYTHING to her mates and it’s to die for! The dynamics and sweetness and humor and steam was all just written incredibly passionate and all-consuming.

I officially LOVE this series and Leah’s a pretty cool damn woman as well. 💪

Destined Mates !

Spoilers ahead -
What a ride! This series was amazing! Their literally wasn’t one thing I did not like about it.

This book takes off right where Book 2 left us. Duh duh duhhhhhh - We meet WILLIAM!!! Well, unofficially. But - I AM HERE FOR IT! 5 mates. All belong to our girl. The beginning is really fast paced but it slows down once she gets home with all of her mates and the strategizing begins to put an end to dear ol Uncle Silas.

This book was PACKED with Heat! 🔥🔥🔥. When we were craving it in Book 1 and got a taste of it in book 2, well the author definitely delivered in Book 3! 🥵🥵🥵! The roll playing chapter. 😉🥰

Even the event with the showdown did not disappoint. I am completely satisfied with our Silas met his doom.
The author even left it open for maybe future runoff series. Thea? The witches? I can’t wait to see.

I loved everything about this series and will definitely be keeping an eye out for whatever this author puts out next!!

*Overall 5/5
*Heat? 5/5 🔥🔥🔥
*First person POV - all 6 plus Silas
*Romance 3/5 (Fated Mates/Insta Love)
*Fast Burn!!!!
*MF MFM MFMM - 🙌🏼allllll of it! (No MM)
*HEA? YES!!!

By far my favourite book out of the trilogy, filled with love, revenge, passion and so much more. All your questions after the last book’s cliffhanger are answered and you get to see Cecily and her men become one big family🥰. The spicy scenes are off the charts in this book🔥🥵. It’s a multi POV book so you really get to see how everyone is feeling and what they are thinking, which I love in Reverse Harem books. Altogether a fantastic trilogy you don’t want to miss out on reading!

Okay

2.5 Stars
This book, this series, was just okay. It wasn’t particularly enjoyable to read. I wouldn’t read it again.

The world building wasn’t very good. We get a brief overview of what the world is like, but it feels like an after thought.

The magic system was completely flawed. There has to be some limits in place. Unlimited power isn’t particularly interesting. There literally isn’t anything magic can’t do. In the earlier books they talk about needing herbs and ingredients to complete spells. By the second book they don’t need any ingredients because magic can do everything with a thought. Need to rewind to see 3D scenes of the past? No problems. Wanna pull up stones from a building destroyed centuries ago to rebuild it? Magic will do it, easy peasy. Need a rainstorm, thunderstorm, lightening? Magic will do it without a thought. Need to furnish your house? Magic. Need new clothes? Magic. Wanna turn into a turtle? You can turn into anything with a little magic! And if your magic gets low there is magic water to refill your magic stores! It all got a little boring.

The male main characters weren’t very well defined. In the first book they felt a bit more like separate people. By the last book every one of her men had the same personality. There wasn’t any difference in the way they spoke or acted.

The plot was weak and it took backseat to the relationships. The storyline started off strong in the first book, by the last book it felt like a side note.

The sex scenes in this book were not very titillating most of the time. The men spent the majority of their time teasing her with their fingers. It gets tiring to read that same thing happening over and over. They also referred to her arousal as ‘nectar’ which made me a bit sick. Can we talk about diapers for a minute? Because this girl spent so much time with fluids dripping down her legs that I feel the need to recommend a shower and some diapers.

The author really overdid it with the FMC moaning over food. I don’t get it and I’m tired of authors doing this. This girl is constantly moaning over her food like a low grade pornstar… which inevitably turns all the men into horn dogs. Nothing about this is sexy. I’m gonna go to a restaurant one day and start moaning over every bite. I wanna see if my moaning will bring all the boys to the yard.

I feel like the idea for this story was good, but the writing and execution was mediocre at best.

Leah Steele has caused me some late nights with this series! If you're looking for a complete series to lose yourself in for a few days, this is a great choice! Shifters, magic, romance, steam, action--this series has it all. I'm sad that it has all come to an end, but I was thrilled with the poetic justice Steele served as the whole Silas situation came full circle with the one thing that gave him the upper hand in the first place.

While reading, there were a few things that really stood out to me about this shifter series that I really enjoyed. In comparison to some other books that I read, the shifters in this world can not only shift but can also wield magic, with the two things being linked. This made the magical possibilities pretty endless in what the characters were able to do as long as they put in the effort to learn and understand their magic.

The ability to shift was also different in that it wasn't just one animal that could be shifted into. In the world Steele created, each person could change into whichever animal they wanted to, making it easy to adapt to certain situations and places. In many stories, you'll see that packs or groups of different animal species would remain separate or stay clear of each other because of bias or hatred. This is touched on a bit in this final book when everyone still has their memory erased, but once it is reestablished, you see how easily this kingdom comes together as a whole. There is no conflict because there is no line drawn where shifting applies.

Another thing that I was happy to see was that there was legit reasoning behind the fmc, Cecily, needing to have more than one mate. A lot of times the main reason for the main character to have multiple mates is because there is a lack of females in their species for some odd reason or another, so I appreciated Steele's creativity in her storyline to cover this topic and put her own little twist on it.

With this being the final book, I couldn't be happier with the character development of all of the characters we've come to love. There were some real connections being made, more than just the bond pushing Cecily towards her men and vice versa. There were sweet moments of getting to know one another, learning little facts that weren't shared before. Emotions were put on display as well as felt through the bond and I loved how they were able to address each feeling to make everyone feel validated, appreciated, or even to help them ease out of any negative feeling that they were experiencing at the time.

Overall, I'm very happy with this final book. What a great way to end this series, Leah! And thank you for leaving an opening for a possible story following Thea. I'd love to see what she gets up to!

4/5
with a good 4/5 Smut star !

To be totally honest, I found book 1 very long, mainly because there were a lot of long description of small or not so significant actions.

But I decided to keep reading because:
1. It was well written, with 1st person multiple POV
2. It was different to what we find at the moment on the market
3. Each character had its own personality and was well developed
4. Seeing all those qualities from a new author, I just thought "if she is really into writing, she will get even better with time & practice"

And I am very happy I kept reading because this author gets better with each book ! It is not perfect by any means, but it has all the ingredients to give you a good time, keep you entertain with the plot, make you emotional at time, and horny too!

Keep the good work Leah Steele, because I am pretty sure I've found a new author worth following closely !

Enjoyed the series enough, wouldn't re-read though.

If you don't want spoilers don't read reviews.
Seemed like this whole book was all magic and sex. I was enjoying the story alright, but then it just turned into a little bit of plot, lots and lots of magic happening, then on to very long sex scenes... Like pages and pages, it got annoying enough that I skipped a lot of them.
I felt like Silas' chapter/memory was just tossed in to justify the way he is. There wasn't enough for me. He did what he did but no questions were asked about his brother and the girl? He just did it and got away with it no questions asked? Pfft.
The epilogue is just a giant sex scene between all her guys. I don't have a problem with twins, but I do when it's done in the epilogue *barf* minus 1.5 stars for that nonsense. The fact that the epilogue didn't give us any kind of glimpse into their future also dropped my rating for the whole book.

Overall a good series

I have been looking forward to book 3 since finishing the last book so when I saw it pop up in my recommendations I downloaded immediately.

There is a lot of good aspects to this book. We finally see Cecily reunited with all of her mates, we learn why the tree used a W instead of an M (I guessed the name correctly), we get some insight into Silas' past. There's a good blend of humour and drama.

I didn't quite enjoy this book as much as the first 2. I think a part of this was about a long drawn out sex scene in the middle of the book which impacted the flow of the story, and then repeating the process in the epilogue. Once I hit an epilogue, my focus is on finishing the book, so placing extended sex scenes in the epilogue pretty much guarantees I'll skim to the end.

Overall this has been a good series

Destiny Found is the incredible conclusion to this amazing trilogy!

This has been one of favorite RH shifter series and I am sad to see it end.
This book was full of action, suspense and revelations.

Cecily is a strong, caring, loving and fierce Queen and it was great to see her finally get her HEA. I love the scenes where she and the others was at her castle and how they were able to restore each room simply with magic. We also have more scenes with her mates and I love how they adore and love Cecily.

Destiny Found was a fitting end to this series and I devoured it one day. If you love fated mates, shifters, fae, witches and magic then you should check out this series because you will absolutely love it!

Absolutely amazing end to the series! Action packed from beginning to end, with a few twists and turns thrown in the mix! The Fates are putting things back in order and there are so many things being revealed, lost relationships being reunited, and people finally put in their places. Cecily finally has some time to bond with all of her mates, and boy is this book spicy as hell! Emotions for me were all over the place, but I absolutely loved that there was quite a few times I burst out laughing at the pranks or Alex’s comments. Seriously I felt as if I were there! I loved the way this story ended, it was perfect! I’m really hoping to read more in this world in the future, especially Thea’s story! I’ve loved it so much!!

So this was my least favorite of the series, just because the whole Silas explanation was waaaay too rushed. Like it seemed like his brother was kind of a dick, but then it shifted to his brother has matured and is now not a bad person but Silas is but it was so abrupt. And then it seemed like the girl liked Silas originally but then changed to the brother which needed more explanation. And Silas becomes a sociopath before loosing his magic. Idk, that whole thing didn’t work for me, and the whole resolution was too neat and tidy and quick. But I thought the idea of splitting into witches and shifters after the spell was interesting but I wanted more information on like did they fight, hate each other, what were the relationships like?

Man, I just want to say that for a brand new author, who just whipped out 3 amazing books over 3 months...she killed it. Leah I don't know how you did it girl, but you did it. ❤

This final book brought it all together and let me just say I was here for it all! Right away we get the answers we all wanted about Marcus and his "memories". Cecily is reunited with her bf Thea and her parents. Finally all of the bonds are completed and things heat up. The spice level was off the charts for Cecily and her guys🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶. We get the back story for Silas. He truly was demented, and lost cause. Everything was righted in the best way possible. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can not wait to see what Leah has for us next🥰

Leah, wow just wow!! This third and final book is nothing short of perfection. You created a beautifully crafted world and characters that evoke such emotions you can't help but be invested in their journey from the beginning.

There were so many pivotal moments that brought all the treads subtlety placed throughout this series together. Cecily and the guys completing their bonds, there is some serious steam and so much depth to their family dynamic, I loved their emotional connection.

This series, this book is full of emotion, tension and depth. Its a masterpiece of intricacy. This is a story that spanned centuries but will remain with me for a life time.

Oh man I am so upset that Cecily and her guys’ story is over now!!! I got so attached to this group and their journey, it’s weird but I’m going to really miss them (especially Alex). This book was absolutely wonderful though, a perfect conclusion to an absolutely stunning series that I will not be soon forgetting. A lot of this book centers in Cecily finishing her bonds and strengthening them. We finally found out the truth of what happened 500 years ago and Cecily is able to get that much needed closer. The steam was insane in this book and OMG the epilogue!!! I’m dead! I got everything I never knew I needed.

I looooved this series and l am sad to see it ending. I loved everything about this final book, questions are answered, bonds are developed and the spice is well and truly ramped up. I really have loved this world and all it’s intriguing little mysteries like why people just forgot about their magic and where the royal family went but this tells all! There’s so much love in this book but also a real passion combine that with the mystery and action this really does make for a fantastic book! I can’t wait to see what comes next from Leah as she really knows how to delve into a world and make in shine and develop characters you not only love but also love to hate. 🖤

I’m so sad this is now a completed series. I love Cecily and her men, as well as the amazing journey they have been on for the past several centuries so much! I am blown away that this is Leah Steele’s first series. The overall story is just so beautifully complex and romantic; with plenty of action and steam!! The world that is created in this book, absolutely comes to life. The author created a truly terrible villain in Silas. I rank him up there with all the other literary baddies; just loved to hate him. The scene with Cecily showing off her powers to the skeptical witches in the garden had me cheering, such an empowering scene and one of my all-time faves!! I cannot recommend this book and series enough!! I look forward to the next adventure Ms. Steele creates for us!

This ending is exactly what I needed from this trilogy. The emotions, the reveals, the tension and that happily ever after. Finally. Leah Steele wrapped up the story beautifully and I couldn’t have asked for a better ending.

I loved the world Leah created, it’s so easy to become immersed within it. Not only that but the characters have such depth. I feel like I kept learning more about them. I love figuring out how a character became the way that they are/their motivations and it was so satisfying to finally learn.

This love story was an epic journey through many highs and lows and spanned centuries. A perfect conclusion.

What an ending to this amazing trilogy.

I have loved reading this series from Leah, it has had me gripped from the very beginning.

The books are well written and totally pull you straight in.

I loved the twist with the twins and the bonds between them all.

The heat is turned up in the final book and we have some amazing steamy scenes 🔥🔥. All of the questions from previous books were answered and I loved the reunions between various people throughout.

I am sad to see this trilogy end but I can’t wait to see what Leah comes up with next.

If you love shifter romance and magic then you absolutely need to download and read this now!

Not going to lie, the smut saved this series 😂 I definitely preferred the more serious side of Alex we got every now and then and some of the pranks were hilarious so that upped my review to 3⭐ it MIGHT have gotten to 3.5 had it not been for the borderline INSEST at the end. Seriously wtf happened? I'm all for twins sharing but not getting off on each other in the process 😬 it was a little too close for my liking.

I loved Will (besides grabbing his twins dick and joining it in her 😺 for some line crossing DVP). His reunion with his parents was kind of non existent though? Like he met his mum finally and there was NO DIALOGUE? Like... come on, we'd been waiting for it and you just skim over it? Cool... cool. In fact her own reunion with her parents was pretty anticlimactic too. And with her best friend. Like I said, the smut saved it.

What a freaking amazing, epic, show stopping conclusion to Cecily and her guy’s story! The spice in this book is ramped up and I am here for it! Your emotions are seriously pit through the ringer and get all the feels along with some heart pounding scenes. This story was so well written and kept you on your toes the entire time. Everything was so well hidden and woven through out the series that nothing was ever given away. It was pure perfection. Fantastic characters, amazing writing and a conclusion fit for the Queen that Cecily is.

I could not wait to get my hands on this book after the ending of the last one, and I was not disappointed! This was a fantastic end for a series, it wraps up everything nicely and reveals all of the secrets that the characters have been keeping. I also like that we get some insight into why Silas is the way that he is, not that it justifies his actions, but it was interesting to see why he made the choices that he made. I am so happy that after so many years Cecily finally gets the ending with her mates that she deserves.

Leah Steele has quickly became one of my favorite authors! This series is complex, it will keep you guessing till the very end. This last book in the series was probably my favorite!

Wow...just WOW! The world building, the steaminess, the revenge, the characters...ALL OF IT was FANTASTIC! If you haven't started this series, what are you waiting for?! I can bet you this series will be unlike anything you've ever read, in the best way possible. I don't want to say goodbye to all these characters. 🥺 I would give this book more than 5 stars if I could!!!

would have been a five if…

This would have been a 5 star for me if I didn’t have to skip the steamy parts…I absolutely despise men being the dominant…she’s the QUEEN FFS! And spanking and telling the women she needs a punishment like she’s some naughty puppy that piddled on the rug icks me out majorly. So if you like that stuff there’s plenty in here and this may be the perfect read for you but for me I had to skip a lot because it wasn’t for me and I wanted to know how this ended.

Fantastic Conclusion

What a fantastic conclusion to this series. This was the third and final book to the series and just like the first to I was hooked start to finish. Leah Steele does an amazing job world building and creating wonderful characters. I love d the milk POV's and getting Silas's back story. I love how the bonds between Cecily and her men grew. There was still plenty of twists and some heart stopping moments. I'd love more from this world. Maybe Thea's story. I highly recommend this series

So ok this is such an amazing series! I really enjoyed this one as it answers many questions and lots of bonding between Cecily and her guys. It is a book on the longer side which I can appreciate as long as it's a good story which this one is for sure. Because of the bonding the steam level is awesome and also the balance of the story and lighter sides, humor and moments where you can really laugh out loud are all there. Truly enjoying the writing!

Where do I start with this? I fell in love with this series from book one and was so invested, I loved the character, relationship and plot development throughout and in this absolute beautiful conclusion we see the relationships between out main girl and her men get to where they need to be. This was absolutely everything I needed and more and I honestly would recommend this book to anyone looking for shifter romances! Thank you Leah for another great book!!
