It took a while to read this. The subject matter was difficult to deal with, especially when comparing it to very real experiences of people in my life. I think that was part of the purpose, though. The writing is not a style that I typically enjoy but it had good pacing and was understandable. It's been weeks and I still find myself occasionally flashing back to moments in the book. I'm pretty sure that I originally found this as a PDF titled Tygers of Wrath on a friend's flash drive. I didn't read it at the time, having found it in my dead friend's belongings as I cleaned out his room. I am just assuming that this is the same story because the author is the same and the titles are close enough. I bought this novel because I recognized the author and title from that flash drive. I started reading it because I wondered why my friend had what I assume was a rough draft. I searched for clues between the lines. I didn't find any answers, but I did find a very good novel.
