Even as Gigi is still reeling from the revelations about the Lovely Trio, she’ll have to pull it together to rescue her brother Shawn! And the only place she can turn to for help is Mia and the Cosmic Federation, who will need Gigi if they ever hope to expose the truth about the Lovely Trio…
This comic is REALLY good, really queer, beautiful, full of fancy giant sea slug aliens, and genuinely just well written. I loved seeing Gigi in rollerskates when the second page of the first comic showed posters of rollerskaters on her wall -- that's exactly what I mean when talking about establishing a well-rounded character, I knew from that early on that she was really into skating, not just being a fan of the lovely trio, and it was really satisfying to see that paying off here. Cannot wait for the next issue.
I'm loving this series a lot and looking forward to each volume as it comes out! Super queer, really pretty art, a well-paced storyline with both action and romance. Really vibing with the creative alien designs.
We're like a flame, doing a controlled burn to bring health back to these planets overrun by pests. We eat our fill and leave the planet to flourish and heal itself.
The artwork is still really pretty but kind of flat and the plot isn't really moving forward... I hope the authors manage to tie everything up nicely by the end of the next issue.
This series is certainly interesting. I am really getting invested with the characters and I love seeing them gain some dimensions. All the characters have depth even the antagonists are starting to get some. I also love the sheer amount of queerness, it's awesome.
