She salvages the past… and uncovers deadly secrets.

Meet Paisley Sutton: single mom, salvage expert, and accidental sleuth. In this delightful trio of small-town mysteries, Paisley stumbles upon murder scenes in the unlikeliest places—an abandoned store, a decaying house, and a forgotten warehouse.

With her young son in tow and a sharp eye for historical detail, Paisley peels back layers of secrets long buried. But as clues emerge, so do dangers that hit close to home.

If you love cozy mysteries with strong heroines, small-town charm, and secrets stitched into every page, the Stitches in Crime collection is your next binge-worthy escape.

Book 1 – Crossed by Death

Hard to put down

Reading of Pais!ey, Sawyer and Santiago's adventures was a great insight into crime, child rearing, history and of the culture. It is an excellent example of acceptance of who and what we are. As the story developed you learn to love Paisley's dad, step mom and best friend Mika. This was a book set that had me up until 4 am reading. I hope you will give this set of books a chance, you will not be disappointed.

I really liked this 3 book set

I like book sets because it allows me to go from one book straight to another without stopping. This is a great story about a 46 year old woman’s and her 3 year old son. Paisley started an architectural salvage company and historical blog. She is always uncovering dead bodies in the buildings. I hope there are more!

Murder, romance and recycling

ACF Bookens shares three stories about Paisley, a single mom of a toddler, who saves and sells architectural artifacts and interesting antiques from buildings destined for demolition. Thing is, she keeps finding dead bodies!
You will enjoy this series of cozy mysteries. :-)

Small town life

What a truly beautiful series. From the gossip trail, families with local histories, and the odd characters to subtle romance and murder in strange places, it is all absolutely readable. Small town life at its best. And worst. I’m hooked!

Absolutely brilliant

Loved these books, so well written that you are almost an observer of events, an unusual job with abandoned buildings, lots of supporting cast, and great fun with a toddler
