Three old buildings. Three dead bodies. Solving murders was not what single mother Paisley Sutton had in mind when she started her architectural salvage business, but it certainly has become part and parcel of her work. Whether she's claiming vintage soda cases from an old gas station's coolers, finding bones beneath the floor of an old house, or discovering a body in a warehouse that's slated for demolition, Paisley and her friends are never short on mystery. Get the first three books in the Stitches In Crime series in this volume.
Reading of Pais!ey, Sawyer and Santiago's adventures was a great insight into crime, child rearing, history and of the culture. It is an excellent example of acceptance of who and what we are. As the story developed you learn to love Paisley's dad, step mom and best friend Mika. This was a book set that had me up until 4 am reading. I hope you will give this set of books a chance, you will not be disappointed.
I like book sets because it allows me to go from one book straight to another without stopping. This is a great story about a 46 year old woman’s and her 3 year old son. Paisley started an architectural salvage company and historical blog. She is always uncovering dead bodies in the buildings. I hope there are more!
ACF Bookens shares three stories about Paisley, a single mom of a toddler, who saves and sells architectural artifacts and interesting antiques from buildings destined for demolition. Thing is, she keeps finding dead bodies! You will enjoy this series of cozy mysteries. :-)
What a truly beautiful series. From the gossip trail, families with local histories, and the odd characters to subtle romance and murder in strange places, it is all absolutely readable. Small town life at its best. And worst. I’m hooked!
Paisley Sutton is getting ready to salvage a warehouse and she finds a skeleton. Things get complicated real fast and Paisley almost gets kidnapped. Very fast paced story
Loved these books, so well written that you are almost an observer of events, an unusual job with abandoned buildings, lots of supporting cast, and great fun with a toddler
