After hundreds of hours of gameplay, a young lady awakens as Saintess Eveness Harin in the dating simulation game Midnight. This hardest difficulty character gave the game several loud critiques. Thankfully, she is not bound by the limited choices from the game and immediately makes plans to get out from under control of the high priest and increases affection with the easiest capture target, knight Daniel. She tries to avoid her many death flags but can't seem to stay away from the master of the magic tower as more and more secrets are revealed about this world and her history in it. * * * * *-----------* * * * * -----------* * * * * It's a full color piece but the artwork is not as detailed as many in the same space. It provides many of the expected tropes involving personality classes, game mechanics, romance cliches, and hidden powers related to the divine. Tsundere dragons seem like a problem but Eveness/Sewoo takes most of that in stride as she just tries to make it through each day. The action is a little choppy as it introduces new characters and elements (kidnappings, serial killers, cursed unicorns, childhood trauma, etc.). However, taken as a bit of humor it can be entertaining. @ch 134
