We lose ourselves in what we consider our reality. Our souls forget what is important. At the same time, we rejoice when we regain our passion and our inner light.

I was so excited to receive this book of poetry I won on IG🎉. The poetry is very well written and I've always liked poetry.
A book you can pick up anytime and read a passage.
I found this poetry deep and meaningful.
I'm sure most people can relate to at least one of these poems.
The book itself has beautiful graphics to go along with the poems.
If you love poetry you'll love this book. Very talented poet🖤❤🖤

Hydrus unleashed a whole new level of raw untethered emotions with the 𝗘𝗡𝗗THOLOGY Collection. It is gritty and dark, sensual and romantic, it drips with lust and will make your body, heart & soul want more.

These poems are penned with so much passion from the depths of a poet’s beautifully broken soul. I was entranced from the very start and found these poems to be relatable but still open to interpretation by each reader. The romantic/ erotic feel made my heart giddy and flutter- poetry is the essence of romance after all.

Each poem is masterfully paired with accompanying the author’s photography and artwork, giving additional depth and life to the words and emotions.

The formatting in both the paperback and ebook* versions both surpassed my expectations (and they were already high because the standard was set in the previous collections). * the Ebook version is EXACTLY like the PB version. It is beyond astounding!

I only recently started reading contemporary poetry after I was introduced to the AwakEND collection. I made an instant connection with his soulful poems and #writeyoursoul embodies everything that is Hydrus, a rising poet, whom I believe is only just scratching the surface.

Another fucking EPIC book by Hydrus. I swear he can write the dictionary and it will still be epic.
I read it in one go. I took a deep breath and dived in. Yes, I know some people like to take their time with poetry and enjoy it slowly..let them burn slowly, but that's not the case with me, at least not when it comes to Hydrus. Knowing his words are there and not reading them will be a torture for me. So I go in stright away when I have the book. I'm immersed in his dark world, not taking a breath until I'm done. I drown...every single time...with every each new book he delivers. I devour every word from cover to cover....and yes I'm always left wanting more. Wanting his next release. Every damn time. That's just the way Hydrus has me from the very beginning I discovered him. And that's the way it will always be.
ENDthology was dark, raw, sensual, romantic...and no matter what I say it won't do it justice. The book is absolutely stunning in every way you could possibly think of. The photos are gorgeous and they blend so perfectly with the words. And the formating...gosh, I have no words...outstanding!!

I can’t recommend this author enough!! I wish everyone could get to experience the way I feel reading his words, that blend perfectly with his breathtaking photography! And that’s coming from someone who thought poetry was a big No, that it’s boring and hard to get. _hydrus keeps proving me wrong again and again!
I’d read anything this author writes without even thinking twice!!
I’ve read the ebook version of “ENDthology” first, and it’s so stunning!! The formatting and the quality are impeccable! And the paperback is just as much perfect.

Definitely a must read!!!

PS: I know! That was a lot of « !!! » but I just can’t help it 🙈 it’s all the excitement about this new collection!

I just adore Hydrus poetry. His words always inspire me and give me all the feels. In this instillation he focuses on darker side of life and how we will live our end. I wouldn't say the poems are extremely dark but they aren't up beat and cotton candy. Which of course I love.

Always look forward to what Hydrus will bring next.

A beautiful and raw accumulation of dark thoughts and observations
Hydrus takes us on a raw ride - A world of thoughts and memories that are not IDYLLIC, but raw and some of the most realest poetry I have ever read. That's what I love the most about ENDthology by Hydrus - it's raw.

It really makes you think about your own life, because Hydrus' poems especially in ENDthology are so thought-provoking in an addictive way. It makes you reflect on your own thoughts constantly.

I can highly recommend ENDthology - because he does not disappoint with this book.

When the words resonate deep within and you are left contemplating all your life experiences. ENDthology has a dark, romantic, and carnal vibe to it. The words were so deep, raw, sensual, and soul-capturing. You can feel the emotions poured into each poem from the heartache, love, darkness and everything in between. Hydrus and his beautiful words enrapture and each book he releases touches and caresses my mind and soul in a different way. Poetry lovers will get lost in the pages. The formatting is as beautiful as the words. This is a must read and I look forward to more by Hydrus.

The author takes us on an emotional journey of darkness, heartache, and love.

His words sink into every reality you have stored into your memory and you feel the journey as if it were your own.

Between his words and his original photography, the blend of the two works seamlessly and the book is just absolutely beautiful.

Poetry is not for everyone! I for one wasn’t a big fan until I discovered _hydrus!

I have so many favorite poems in this book and it’s so difficult to choose just one. But here’s one of mine.

My words could never do this book justice. It's beautiful and moving and filled with poems that you will want to come back to again and again. The artistry in both the words and photos in this book are a feast for your soul. Highly recommend all of his books and with each one I find a new favorite!

This poetry book is a beautiful collection of dark thoughts, observations and memories.
It takes you on a journey through the world of thoughts and memories that are not light and sweet, but raw and real and that always make you think about your life experiences and reflect on your own thoughts and future hopes.

I don't know if this is just my experience with Hydrus' poems, but I can actually identify with many of his poems.

I'm not really a typical poetry reader, but I have to say that his poems somehow attract me and keep me under their spell every time I'm reading them.

I know that everyone interprets poetry differently, I mostly apply his words to my life and interpret it in my own way 🤷🏻‍♀️

This poetry book is raw, real, beautiful and moving. It's full of pure  emotions and raw feelings ❤🖤
Definitely a must-read for all poetry lovers 🖤🖤🖤

This is a bit ‘darker’ than HeartEND, but nevertheless as good as all of his books. Still have that book near, where I can grab it and scroll through these perfect formatted pages.
Even if poems might not be your thing - so you think - but make an effort and try out his books. You won’t regret it!

Another amazing collection from the great Hydrus! This one felt a little darker, a touch sadder and even a little spooky.

This collection of poems touches upon a ton of themes. You’ll read poems that will break your heart, make you think, hurt and relate. There are some that were quite spicy and romantic.

This book will really take you on a journey of emotions and moods and make it a great reading experience. And as always, the interior designing is divine and enhances the reading experience even more.

I loved this collection so much because it invites reflection on the lives we lead and the legacies we leave behind, prompting readers to ponder which moments will eternally resonate within their hearts. I have always been a lover of poetry. When I discovered Hydrus, I fell in love, his words steal my breath and feed my soul. There's no going back now, I long for the next release, like I need air to breathe. A beauty that surpasses all others, from the very first page to the last. His words will make you cry, leave you aching with need, and smile with your tear stained lips.

The paperback is phenomenal, the formatting is absolutely superb. The art that is displayed in these pages is truly breathtaking. My words do not give it the justice that it deserves but trust me when I say that its priceless beyond all measure.

I have reviewed Hydrus’s previous 4 books, but I can honestly say this one is my favorite!

I’m a huge fan of his style of poetry, with the rhymes and messages/themes/etc. ENDthology, however, was certainly different from his other books. While he continued using his style of rhymes, this book contains so much more. I can see how Hydrus has evolved from just writing short, rhyming lines to poems that don’t rhyme but have the same voice that holds his uniqueness.

A few things that led me to fall in love with this poet are that his poems contained a seamless, rhythmic flow and that they were dark and steamy. While he still includes those types of poems in this book, there’s so much more to unpack in it.

ENDthology is a collection of poems that explore the idea of an ‘end’ in many different ways. From ending relationships to where the past and present collide, and even death itself, there is a plethora of emotions and images attached to each poem.

My guilty pleasure type of poetry ARE the dark and steamy ones. On the other hand, poems about fire, magic, and love/heartbreak make me giddy too. ENDthology has all of that.

I am certainly giving this book 5 stars and, as always, I eagerly await the next book Hydrus publishes!

The darkness and vibe he creates take me back to places/memories and make me 𝙁𝙀𝙀𝙇 as though I'm feeling/experiencing them for the first time all over again.

You just never know where a poetry book is going to take you. Which pieces will stand out to you or give you a familiar- this is me feeling. I think that we have all had a year with more struggles and isolation than we were prepared for and having collections of such big feelings lets us know we aren't the only ones.

I love the mix of words, photography and handwritten notes is beautiful. These can be books that you keep to yourself or maybe shared and experienced together. Definitely take a chance and grab one of these for your shelf.

I savored every page !
The poetry is dark, raw, and beautiful. But ENDTHOLOGY felt a bit more exposed. It was a bit more heightened, pain, pleasure, forgiveness, & mistakes.

I felt so much longing in some poems & hope.

That an end is near yet love will still go on.

Some words were even empowering, sometimes it felt like the wrong would be damned.

It felt like pieces of the poet and pieces of yourself.

That memories are what we have a chance of making each day.

It’s beautifully formatted and it’s my favorite book cover!!

Wow!

Hydrus poetry really does speak to my heart!
ENDthology is raw, it reaches deep in the little dark spots of your heart. This title is so fitting because as you read you see the collection of endings, different paths and different lives. The pages tell you a story and take you on a journey not only with words but visually too, because the inside is just as beautiful to look at as it is to read.

Beautiful collection of poems, can’t wait for the next one.

If I say I did not like this, will your come and murder me? or yourself? I want these poems to be made into songs. Will you wail them out on stage in a Nine Inch Nails voice? I would like that. Would you go emo or Nu Metal? That would be a shame. Goth would be a great fit, or on a soundtrack for The Crow.

I want to tell you it gets better, but when the darkness marks your soul like this, the stain get smaller. You can step out into the light. Endure it. Even enjoy it sometimes. But with age becomes decay. You become a zombie. Pray it only happens to your body, but you can feel it picking away at your mind.

I want to tell you it will be OK but I don't know if it will be. Poetry doesn't have to rhyme. Keep it up. Try the light for short periods of time, if only to fuel your stories at night.

ENDthology isn’t just a book of poems. It’s an aesthetic. It’s raw and relatable. It’s steamy. It takes you on journey through thoughts you sometimes don’t want to admit you think or maybe don’t want to think about. And it’s makes you feel.. hydrus can take words that sometimes seem so simple yet make them art, make them mean so much more.

I love when a book just takes you out of the zone and really makes you feel or want to make you feel with words. Endthology takes you on a bit more of a cloudy turn, darker, more vulnerable emotions feeling. Besides the poem, I love the photography in the book, so gorgeous. So many good poems, Requiem, Serenity, and Never are some of my favorites. Looking forward to seeing what else Hydrus' mind will create next!!! So good!!!
