Why is Ruka still here. Their temp relationship makes no sense to me. Kazuya obviously doesn’t like her so why are they still together?????????? Minus stars for her having such a huge part of this volume. Loath.

I'll admit it, I loath Ruka so any time she has more than a panel or two, this manga suffers. But it also suffers from being 17 volumes in and the main characters, despite what seems like some progress, have really made NO progress in figuring out their relationship. I understand not wanting to have that tension dissipate in the first few volumes, but after 17 I should have more than a middling hope that they will both remove heads from rectums long enough to realize they love each other.

Dragging it out isn't helping this series. I hope Miyajima-sensei figures that out soon.

The second half of this volume was really strong. The stuff with Mizuhara and her grandmother was really sweet. The first half is a reminder that this series is just taking its sweet time at the expense of telling a better story. The artwork was really nice with several great pages at the bigger moments.

I’ve been since the beginning a Ruka cheerleader and this volume cements my feelings. Ruka pours her heart out every time and I salute her stallworthness. This volume also has some extremely important moments that make this an easy 5 stars, especially for the cover girl!

I love this series…but I don’t care for Ruka-Chan so it was difficult to get through this one. I am ready for the story to progress and hope Ruka-Chan is soon out of the picture! Aside from Ruka-Chan, I appreciated the moments of Sumi worked in as she reminds me a bit of myself and how I use my phone to type out what I want in a restaurant rather than speaking loud enough for the waitstaff to hear. Sometimes I get laughed at or questioned why I do that then I’m mad they asked.
