I got to read an early version of this and really enjoyed the conclusion of the series. Engaging action, relatable characters, deeper themes. And of course, cool superpowers!

I'm sorry to see the series end!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Rise of the Anointed series and eagerly awaited its conclusion. Which is more of a new beginning of sorts - the ending left things open for an entirely new set of adventures. Sweet!

The characters I've grown to love throughout the series are back and facing the most formidable situation yet. A supernatural enemy. Mobs of people raging at one another, doing all sorts of despicable things… The Anointed trying to rescue SJ from her kidnapper. Whoever that might be.

I love the way the author presented spiritual truths in such an entertaining manner. While there is nothing preachy about Anointed, it clearly shows clearly the danger of allowing anger to grow and fester.

Anointed, like the other books in the Rise of the Anointed trilogy, is appropriate for younger readers. I have no qualms recommending it to its intended audience.

What a fun ride this trilogy was! I'm so glad my daughters encouraged me to read it. Loved watching the characters grow after all the mistakes they made in book 2. Loved the twists and turns... and so satisfied that the one big twist I THOUGHT I saw coming and HOPED was coming actually DID! (No spoilers here, but it's epic).

Beautifully written and executed, this trilogy about superpowered teens gifted with special talents by God manages to walk the line of being overtly Christian without ever once feeling preachy. The elements of faith are woven in so intricately that they never knocked me out of the story or felt out of place. Highly recommend!
