I’m sad to see this series go, as it didn’t get all the way to the point where the FDG moved to an entirely different area of operations. This book also rushed to an abrupt finish by both skipping over many of the years after WWDE yet never reaching other milestones regarding Michael or the Queen. I was also disappointed that it mostly ignored TH Walton besides one brief conversation between him and Akio. The abrupt ending is also just before a big event in the Kutherian Gambit timeline that I had also wanted to see from Akio’s POV.
Ah well, the book is otherwise still an enjoyable read as it does tie up several story arcs for us. We also get to see some of the lives and adventures of characters introduced in this series that we would have missed if we didn’t get this AS a series by limiting things to the original planned trilogy. So fans are given a fair amount of extra details that we’d have otherwise missed out on!
I truly wish that I could find a recommended reading order so that I know what to read next! There are several series that are part of the Kutherian universe that I haven’t read yet because I can’t decide on the best order for reading them without getting spoilers from one of the other books in the series…. But my final thought is that Akio is enough of a major character that he definitely deserves this series!

The last book of the Akio Revelations doesn't live up to the high standards set by the previous installment but was good.

This series was great. I loved every book. I hope that we will see more of Akio and his team in future books that continue on the timeline in the Kutherian Gambit Universe.

Excellent series on one of favorite characters!
Akio has been one of favorite characters from the original KGU series. I enjoyed reading about him in the Terry Henry Walton Chronicles and the Dark Messiah books about Michael's return. I was very excited when I saw that Akio was finely going to get his own series. I think the author did a great job developing and telling Alio's story. Although I must admit it was a little dark some times and had some clift hangers. But in the end it came together beautifully. And even the darker parts of his story were important in developing the character who continued into Michael's story. I would love to see another series following his life in later years. (don't want to say where Incase someone reading this hasn't read Michael's story or TH's. Highly recommend this series for anyone who enjoyed sci-fi/urban fantasy. But to get the best enjoyment, I would recommend first reading The Kurtheren Gambit, Terry Henry Walton Chronicles, and the Dark Messiah in that order. Looking forward to reading more from this new author!

I'm so very sad.
This is the final book of the Akio series and, although it delighted me, educated me, and kept me reading for far too many hours, I still feel that I could have read more.
Akio, being a favourite character of mine, was a mystery, wrapped in an enigma, when I first read about him, but Charles Tillman has done an epic job of bringing him alive for me, and answered a lot of the questions that I'd asked myself about him, when I first became aware of him.
It's always sad to say goodbye to characters that you'd lived with for some time, and the Akio books are brim full of amazing, likeable, crazy, sweet, and saucy ones, that had me falling in love with them daily.
The only thing that makes this parting bearable, is that I can meet them again when I next read through these books!
How I wish that there were people like this in my life 🙂

Chomping at the bit for Mr. Tillman's next series, but going to miss this one very much.
What a fantastic book! I've fallen in love with the characters & the AIs; some I will miss more than others. The author connected all the dots here & wrote a great book & a fun, yet very serious series. Akio was mysterious before this series came about. And he still is. But I feel like I know him better through his relationships with those whom he had interactions; Eve, Yuko Takumi & especially Abel, his right-hand "man" & friend. I'll truly miss Akio & his crew, but now he & they live on in the words penned by Charles Tillman.

I'm sad to see the end of this series.
Akio is one of my favorite characters along with Yuko and Eve. Now I have Able and Takumi. They made this series so much fun. You made all of them come to life for me.
So much so that when Michael refers to Eve as still being an EI in the Kuthirian Endgame books I want to punch him! You put so much work into her and not having it acknowledged bums me out!

Akio is one of my favorite characters in the Kurtherian series. Always mysterious and strong. After reading the Michael series, I wanted to know more about him, and this series definitely delivers.
The other characters in this book add so much to the world of Queen Bethany Anne, they were told true to the canon, both in voice and the strength of family throughout their universe.
I'd love to see more by Charles expanding his story now as Ranger One.

Ah the end is near
We come to the end of the series, and all the loose threads need to be tied up in a pretty bow around a neat package. Time becomes fluid while years pass in the blink of an eye. Characters age gracefully, or not, and the conclusion approaches. Yet there’s a bit of yearning for the story to continue. Akio has become a beloved friend, and we don’t want his story to end here. A good read.

Great ending
I will miss the stories of Akio, Yuko, Eve and all their friends. This series was awesome with lots of action, superb characters and excellent storylines. It filled in very well what they did during their time on earth before they went to the stars. I am looking forward to the next books Charles Tillman writes and will be sure to read them all.

so sad it’s over.
I got hooked on this series right from the beginning. So sad I finished the last book tonight. Just feels like I went on a incredible journey. Killing off all that is bad and horrible in the world. I loved every character that fought against the evil. And brought Redemption to those wronged by evil. Thanks to the author for such a great series.

Simply wonderful!
Staying true to a character developed by another author can't be easy but Charles has done amazingly well!

Good
An amazing series. The back story of Akio and friends fills in many blanks. Sorry to see the series end. I wish there had been a book seven for a further conclusion. Still , five stars door the entire series and thanks for writing it so well.

A great series to read.
Sadness permeates my psyche. I definitely did not want this series to end. The characters developed and the action, the storylines, the rebuilding after WWDE were all fascinating. Definitely a series to pursue.

Wonderful Akio book
Akio is in his element in this book doing what he does best, dispensing the Queens justice. Horst and Katy show they are powerful in their own right against vampires that think to feast on the villagers.

Well written series but the last book of the series reader without a conclusion to the story line
I am disappointed that the series ended in a "cliff hanger" which would been acceptable if the author was as planning on a second series.

Charles Tillman delivers again in this culmination to the “Revelations” series. Made of leaps and jumps across time, this story fills in all the blanks and leaves no questions behind. No more needs to be said, except,

What a great ...ending?
Ok, I know this is the last book, but I really wish Charles would continue writing Akio! I want to read his spy adventures in space and Charles has given him a voice and I hope one day returns to it. Loved the entire series!!

Great book and an interesting way to end the series. There is no doubt that we will see Akio and company again. The open ending leaves the reader anticipating more to come in the future.
