Judy was very beautiful, very much in love and very much married to the wrong man. A speedy divorce seemed the only solution to everyone's problems, but little did she imagine that a flying visit to Reno would turn into a terrifying case of murder-- with the shadow of a noose dangerously close to her own lovely neck.
Grace Latham leaves her usual Georgetown haunts for Reno when her niece flies there to shed her husband. Judy seems to be mixed up with a strange crowd, and her parents are concerned. When her main escort is murdered, the evidence indicates that Judy is involved. Fortunately, Colonel Primrose and his faithful companion Sergeant Buck have broken their journey home from California and are there to help. I doubt that the Reno tourist bureau gave Ford any awards for this book.
