Rosewood Grove Fire Department Book 4
A Curvy Younger Woman and Alpha Firefighter Insta-love Romance

Nikki
College kept me busy and all, but I found myself becoming lonely in my apartment by myself.
I could only meet with the girls at the book club so much. I didn’t know what to do.
Finally, I decided to reach out to my friend for advice.
She suggested I get a pet, and I decided to entertain the thought.
The next day, I took a trip to the animal shelter.
A cat named Smokey caught my attention and thought she would be best fit for my small place.
Boy was I wrong.
Within five seconds of introducing her to her new home, she had run out of the window and onto the second story roof!
It was getting dark, and I was getting worried she wouldn’t come down.
Until I realized who I could call for help.
The Rosewood Grove Fire Department.

Lance
Being the guy on the crew with the least experience meant taking the calls no one wanted.
And in this case, it was rescuing a cat from the roof of an apartment building.
Another fireman said we could leave it up to the fate of a coin toss. The loser takes the call.
Even the coin wasn’t willing to let me budge on the fire house rule.
On the way to the apartment, I was feeling annoyed. Until the cat’s owner opened her door.
Nikki was the most beautiful young woman I had ever seen. Everything about her drove me crazy.
At that point, I was happy to help. I quickly rescued the furry little girl from the roof, and Nikki invited me inside.
I was beginning to think losing that coin toss was actually just fate forcing me on to Nikki’s doorstep.
Would she be willing to give me a shot at exploring that fate?

Lance and Nikki's Story . . .

Nikki was lonely living by herself in her apartment. She asked a friend for advice and it was suggested that she get a pet. She chose a cat from the animal shelter, named her Smokey, and figured she would be a perfect addition for her apartment. Unfortunately, Smokey dashed out the window immediately and onto the second-story roof. With darkness falling, Nikki knew she needed help getting her pet back inside. So she called the Rosewood Grove Fire Department.

Being the newest member, Lance knew firehouse rules would designate that he would get the least attractive calls, such as a cat stuck on the roof. Not pleased, he drove to the apartment and his entire attitude changed when he saw the owner. He rescued her kitty and she invited him inside.

Despite their immediate attraction to each other, Nikki’s past made her hesitate to move too quickly into a relationship. But as they get to know each other and work out any misunderstanding, could they give this new relationship a chance?

This is book number 4 of the Rosewood Grove Fire Department series and focuses on Lance and Nikki. At the advice of a friend, Nikki gets a cat from the animal shelter, but when they get home, the cat gets spooked and goes out the open window and decides to hang out on the roof. She ends up calling the fire department to come help out and since Lance is the youngest rookie, he gets tasked with getting the cat down. He was annoyed about it until Nikki opened the door and he saw who called. There is an immediate connection between the two but Nikki had some lingering trust issues due to an incident that happened a couple years prior. A slight misunderstanding happens but thankfully they are able to work through the misunderstanding and get together. This was a great addition to the series!

Lance is the fourth book in a hot and steamy series. When Nikki was needing a little bit of a companion, she went to the animal shelter to adopt a cat. Smokier ending up to be a bit more mischievous than cut. When he ended up on the roof, Nikki was left to call the fire department for help. Lance is a rookie at the station, and he gets the interesting call. The moment Nikki opens the door, Lance is instantly drawn to someone.

This is a fast and sweet love story as Nikki over comes the pain of the past and Lance proving that his feeling are true. They have a hot and steamy love story that will warm your heart and cause you to melt you in your chair.

First things first; I like the cover of the book!
Lance is the fourth book in the ‘’rosewood fire department’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Nikki adopts a kitten, she doesn’t expect to need a fireman’s help the first day she takes her home. Lance wants Nikki as soon as he meets her but will love blossom between them?
The chemistry between Lance and Nikki is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.

A cute meet over her cat stuck on the roof and the fireman who rescues her. They seem to hit it off, but she overhears joking that makes her unsure. He’s all in and has to convince her.
