The second book in the series continues Mason and Susan's story. The author once again brings strong characters and weaves another action packed story filled with drama and danger , violence and suspense as well as the hot chemistry. She moves the story fluidly with vividly painted scenes and delivers a fantastic story. I was glued to the pages from start to finish.I'm looking forward to the next book.

High Roller wasn't my cup of tea. The book blurb makes it seem like Tori is an intelligent, independent woman. Nope, only for 2 chapters. So, I'm unhappy with the bait and switch. I wouldn't recommend High Roller(I recommend a 3-star book to my audience), though I may have judged it less harshly in my youth.
-1 ⭐ - I don't say this often but I hated Mr. Alpha the ass. His behavior is deplorable, and a real turnoff. To be honest, it almost made me stop reading this book altogether. His treatment of Tori also made me lose all respect for her, as our main character.
-1⭐-I'm not a fan of instalove. Typically, most shifter romances/Alpha's show reverence or respect to their mate. I prefer that and partnership. Axel the Arrogant words didn't match his actions(hitting Tori). I was rooting for them to break-up. Their relationship is toxic with a power unbalance. Nor did I think his manipulative behavior was cute.
-Minus 0.5⭐'s-I found this book's plot predictable from the beginning. There weren't any twists and turns to be found.

Mason and Susan were awesome! I loved that they finally got together no matter what anyone thought! I'm so glad they had each other!

An okay read that pulls you in. Susan is supposed to be smart but at times came off as immature and mouthy. Wasn’t the strong character I’d hoped for but she stood her ground with family. Mason was your typical biker and likeable. Gates continues his mayhem and the ranger is in a den of vipers that doesn’t get addressed in this book. Wishing we could see a step forward rather than 10 back. I’ll read the next but give up if there’s no movement in the evil situation.

The Devils Luck MC is back and trying to move forward with their lives after their tragedies. Mason "High Roller" is at the place where "The Well" used to be, Sam's family bar that Bates burned to the ground, with the rest of the MC cleaning up the charred remains. Through the drastic changes in such a short time some things don't change and that's the feelings Mason has to hide for Black Jack's little sister. Suzie lost her brother William when Bates shot him in cold blood in the highway and almost lost her other brother Jack when Bates locked Sam in The Well and set it on fire. She is like no other woman Mason has known. She likes to get her hands greasy working as a mechanic in her tank top and overall's...but damn is she sexy. Things seem too quiet with no signs it Bates.... until dirty cops storm Mason's house, arrest him and beat him to a pulp. The shinning light comes in the form of Texas Ranger Carrie Hart here in Reno to clean up the corruption. The question is... can she be trusted or is she another of Bates' cronies?? Just as Mason and Suzie get a chance to act on their feelings for each other they get their answer when an injured Carrie shows up to warn them that Bates is on his way. All Hell breaks loose with the arrival of Bates and his Wolverine MC, shots fired, a call to Black Jack and the wrong way to use a refrigerator!!! After a stand off that almost takes Mason out, there is no question in where Carrie's loyalties lay or the fact that what Mason and Suzie have is real, whether Black Jack accepts that or not is the fear. Can Mason and Suzie move forward after this latest chaos with any type of happiness?? What does Bates have in the works to take down Devils Luck next?? How is Tex handling having Carrie under his roof?? Soooo many questions but I have faith Ali Parker will have some of those answers in the next story to come. LOVING Devils Luck MC!!! Great characters making a family not of blood but love and loyalty, his/her POV, can be read as a stand alone but best read in order and an eventual HEA!! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and happily purchased a copy for my favorites collection. Can't wait for the next book.

Another great hit from Ali Parker and associates
Mason has been in love with Susan for a long time. But being the little sister of the leader of their MC, it near impossible to show his feelings.
Susan is headstrong like her brother.
While Jackson was away for five years as a SEAL, his younger brother ran the club, until he was shot and killed by Bates. An evil boss and gangster Motorcycle leader. Owned half the town and cops.
Had Mason beaten and thrown in jail. Tried getting Susan so he could threaten Jackson and Mason.
Carrie a Texas ranger was trying to clean up the corruption but didn't know which cops to trust. She's the one who helped get Mason out of jail. Lot of action and intrigue with a lot of hot sex. Great story. Never disappointed in any books I've read from Ali or Weston Parker

I'm not sure whether to give this a 3 or 4. So it had better be 3.5
What bothered me the most was that it was so unrealistic. I mean everything from the sex to the violence to the corruption.
I like a good story to my hot romances and MC ones are nice and rough around the edges. But how can the whole police department corrupt. Then a Texas Ranger joins them and she's clean as and helps them out. But when the bad cops and bikies come for her she doesn't have anyone on her side or maybe call the FBI or someone.
Then the sex. Mason gets bashed twice and can hardly stand or stay conscious the second time with broken ribs, arm and internal injuries. But he can have sex with Suzie and it doesn't worry him at all???
Just got to be too much for me.

The book is awesome!
I cannot wait for the next book in the series. If you haven't read them yet you should. This book is about Mason and Suzie. A love that's there and they both deny it for awhile, mainly Mason's choice due to the danger involved. Soon they could not hide their feelings for each other but are ambushed by Bates again! After the battle there is a secret that is there but won't be revealed for reasons you will see. Start with Black Jack and then move to High Roller for an intense bad boy, dark crime and love stories. You won't want to miss out!

If you love suspense stories With romance You're gonna wanna read this book
This book has a little of everything in it and it's written well so you just sail through the book reading and enjoying a really good story. You feel you feel for the despair that They're feeling with the death of the brother. But then again again again you see A new A new romance blooming as the author takes you through this romance story. I like the characters I like the way the author writes it was an easy read That I could read the story in 1 night.

This is A Parkers second book in the series The Devils Luck MC. It is the story of Mason and Susan. You should read the books in order so you know the history of the club and the members, it will enhance your reading of this book. Ali and Weston have another hit on their hands with this book and this series. I was totally involved in the storyline from beginning to end. I can hardly wait until another book in this series is released. Loved it.

Great addition
This book is a great addition to this series. Great characters and plot. Lots of action and suspense along with emotional ups and downs. Good twists and turns too. The only negative thing that I found was the main female character. I didn't really like her. She was just too over the top thinking that she knew everything. She did get better towards the end. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

WOW
This is the 2nd book in this series and WOW!! I thought book 1 was a rollercoaster ride, but this one was even more so. I was sitting on the edge of my seat and trying to read faster than normal so I could see what happens next. Like book 1 there is no cliffhanger as far as the couple, in this book Mason and Jackson's sister Susan, but the club still has the threat of the wildcats...I can't wait to read the next book!!!

This one is a game changer….they keep getting better and better…Mason and Susan…are out in the open at last…lovers..and the Bates gang..are even more aggressive and the daughter is in on it even more….doing Bates bidding…action packed..love beyond belief…every minute exciting…an excellent read ..i love the action..even though it’s gruesome at times…highly recommend 2nd book in the series

Playing with the big boys!
Suzie has been on the edges of her brother's MC club for years. Mason is the club's VP and desperately in love with his best friend's sister. Watching these two circle around each other and try to keep their feelings hid from everyone had mean stitches. Totally hooked!
I’m so hooked on this series! I’ve never been a avid reader of the MC type books but this series has changed that. I love the way the characters come to life on the pages. It does your heart good to see Mason and Susie (Susan) start a happy life!

Great read
This book has meat on its bones for you to sink your teeth into. I am betting that this whole series does. Nicole York does the MC gener proud. The characters are fun with perfect personality for the story. I bet they took this author for a wild ride as she worked.

Loved it
Oh I just loved Mason and Susan!! They had such a connection!! They had both like each other for a long time but didn’t tell the other because he was her brother’s best friend!! But finally they couldn’t fight their feelings anymore for each other. He would do anything to protect her and keep her safe!! I would recommend this book to everyone!’

Kind of a cliffhanger, they still have not gotten Bates. Which to me, makes it a cliffhanger.

I must admit that the whole being on the losing end in the MC world is a pretty big downer. The romance was fine, but the rest was just depressing.
