Sara's Homecoming is a novelization of S2 Ep. 1 of the Canadian series Road to Avonlea. This book, like a few others in the RTA book series, explores the idea of family and in particular how Sara is caught between her nanny Louisa and aunt Hetty and must decide whether she'd like to stay in PEI or return to Montreal; a decision that's especially crucial for Sara after dealing with the loss of a loved one. While the book deals with some serious topics, I liked how the interplay between Hetty and Louisa brought a comedic element to the book and balanced out the story, and of course I always enjoy reading about the shenanigans that Sara gets into. Overall, this book, like the series it's based on, is filled with eccentric characters, a charming setting, and a great storyline. Definitely recommend it for fans of the series.

I loved it! Such a riveting tale. I couldn’t put it down. I got so engrossed in the story that I actually felt like I was apart of the story. I also love the TV series and movies as well.
