The two main characters, as teens, experience difficult loss and then challenging lives. They spend their lives seeking to understand something very few people have encountered and one which creates turmoil and an ethical dilemma. How do they resolve this? I am a daily reader and have never found such a fresh plot, with interesting MCs such as The Sifting Project. It deals with complex ideas in a story that keeps your attention to the end.
