Isakai, Cheat System and growth from weak to strong, if you are into these genres, the Lit web novel is for you

The review is for all 853 chapters. This is a Chinese web novel fan translated into English.

The writing is amateurish and the translation only brings the reading experience further down but as I enjoy the genres covered in the book, so it was right up my alley.

The good - The plot seems promising, the pacing was excellent, by doing fantasy stimulation into different worlds with fresh characters the story was always fresh, it was like I was reading multiple short fantasies.

The bad- One-third of the way in, the MC gets crazy power-up and becomes too OP. From that point on the story was just dragging along.

I really liked the beginning of this novel, but as he switched main worlds I didn’t really like all of the different POVs together. Still really cool though

If you read this as a Quick Transmigration story it’s pretty good. The protagonist levels up really high in "simulation" worlds and can bring some small amount of that power into the real world. The real world is only a very small part of this novel unfortunately, but the simulated worlds are a generally interesting. I wouldn’t recommend reading this until it has more chapters translated, just because the pacing in the real world is so slow.

The initial translator for this story was terrible. Between changing details and editing out paragraphs at will things often will feel off. Fortunately, the translator either got better or changed by (if I’m remembering correctly) the start of the second simulation.

The author gives up and kills everyone and everything in around chapter 300. Also the established facts of their story also drastically change. There are a bunch of loose ends and inconsistencies due to this. The new universe is initially interesting but is revealed to be mostly filler that often doesn’t make sense. Expect quite a few of character/ability inconsistencies and plot holes from there on. I’m dropping this because it’s boring now. Progression has ground to a halt and nothing matters because the author/MC will forget about it anyway. Sooo many fundamental mistakes in world building due to conflicting 'facts' even after ignoring the pre-destruction stuff. Most of the 'quick transmigration' stories are poorly written clones of each other and yet that’s still the most interesting part.

The translation quality becomes subpar at around 380ish and even dips into edited MTL occasionally. Even prior to that, the translator continued to edit and cut out sections of the chapters. I’ve even needed to check MTL to understand what was going on in a few chapters.

I’m only giving this 3 stars for the great parts between chapter ~50-300ish.

Reviewers that read further than me say that it only gets worse.
