The English Gent Romances #2

The Atelier Assignment

Rate this book
Her assignment is to not fall in love with him…

Zeke Brooksbank is in need of a wake-up call. One that shakes him out of the grump he’s permanently in and turns him into a reasonable human being.
I’m not staying at his country residence to tame the beast. I’m meant to be cataloguing his art collection, not fangirling over his own paintings, or becoming attached to his little daughter.
A three-month assignment and I’ll be back in London. Job done. I can try to tolerate him for that length of time. Should be easy.
Shouldn’t it?
Only the grumpy, temperamental artist turns out to be the sort of man I thought only existed in my fantasies, and that wake-up call – I could be just the person to give it.

The Atelier Assignment is a grumpy billionaire single dad, enemies-to-lovers romance

I absolutely loved this modern day scoundrel grumpy hero and his lovely, sunshiny, well organized heroine enemies to lovers story.

Ezekiel Brooksbank, Viscount Davenport is absolutely not looking for love and does not plan to marry, ever. He is perfectly satisfied co-parenting his 6 year old daughter, whose mother didn’t have any desire to marry Zeke either. They both considered Nora to be the miraculous gift she was, and she is the bright light in their life.
The Viscount finds himself in need to catalogue the vast art collections of his late father, so he can modernize the family estate and discard the possessions that caused him a great deal of pain and cemented his outlook on love and marriage at a young age.
Enter Cat, the curator extraordinaire, and things at the old homestead will never be the same!
In this delightful story we get to catch up with all of our favorite characters from the Callaghan-Green series, as well as the Severton crew and I could not be more excited about the next adventure in these captivating series!

Universal

Cat and Zeke's first meeting doesn't exactly leave her with a good first impression. He's rude, condescending, and dismissive. But what else can one expect from a rich viscount? When she ends up cataloguing his art collection, the sparks fly, disdain and passionate alike.

Zeke's the biggest grump who reserves his soft side for his daughter. When the most exasperating woman comes to catalogue his art collection, and gets under his skin, he cannot seem to keep his eyes (and hands) off her. But he knows their enemies with benefits comes with an expiration date, and he's trying not to think about it. Can he expect Cat to stick around, or will she head back to her life and leave Mr. Grumpypants behind?

Enemies to lovers with benefits has never been so hot! And snarky. And witty. An so much fun. I love a good enemies to more, paired with grumpy/sunshine? I am so there and I was definitely here with Zeke and Cat. Their chemistry sparked every time they were in the same room, the barbs they threw at each other, the apology she demanded from him for the entire story, yeah, I loved it all. I want more English Gent Romances now!

The second book in this series follows Catrin Green as she follows her HEA. It can be read as a standalone. It is written in first person from a dual POV.
This is a sweet, steamy, sometimes funny, very low angst read that I really enjoyed. I love the banter between Cat and Zeke. They love to argue with each other, and it works for them. They generate plenty of heat in their story. I love how Zeke is as a father. Though he has some baggage, he does his best to keep it from his daughter. I love the coparent relationship he has with Nora’s mother and that it is a congenial and low stress relationship. Nora and Cat form a fun relationship that I adored. I loved how Cat falls in love with the country estate and helps Zeke make memories there that override the bad memories he has held. There is a lot to like about both characters. Zeke had to move beyond his comfort zone, but when he does, he is all in.
I enjoyed the cameos from the Callaghans, the Greens, and Gabe. I loved that Zeke is an artistic soul, and that Cat is someone who appreciates art while being 100% practical. This was a fun, romantic, steamy read. I cannot wait for the next book.
I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after receiving an advance reader copy of the book.

This book started with a bang-well a banged up car. So the first meet was heated between Zeke and Catrin.

Their exchanges throughout the book varied and sometimes they were sweet, sometimes they were angsty and some of the time their exchanges had me laughing. Any time the car came up was funny-Catrin really loves her car!

Zeke was a very grumpy guy who just needed to let some light in. He had lived a difficult life.

I love books by this author. It seems every one of them is connected in some way-luckily there are a lot of people in these families and we will keep getting amazing stories!

Catrin is focused on her family and her job and is pretty satisfied with her lot - except when some idiot at her sister's wedding crashes into her car. Zeke is focused on his daughter and his art, and doesn't give a damn about anything else, especially not the badly-parked car he just scraped against. Yet the car issue is merely the opening skirmish: their lives are about to collide in a much more meaningful manner.

The main reason I read romances is for the happy ever after: the joy of it is seeing how the characters get there. With these two, it was obvious from the start that it was going to be an interesting journey. Zeke is one of the most realistic grumps I've ever read: while he's not exactly happy with his life, he's offhandedly accepting of it, in a "this is just how it has to be" kind of way. He's almost offended by his reaction to Catrin, and she's not sure how to deal with her reaction to him either, because of course he's not what she wants. The way they discover more about each other and develop their relationship is nuanced and more than a little steamy! The two main characters are well-complemented by a range of established (if you've read Annie Dyer's other books, and I do suggest reading at least The Wedding Agreement before this one, although it's not mandatory) and new supporting ones - Nora in particular is a delight - and the seeds are sown for not one but two potential future additions to the series. Highly recommended.

When 'The Atelier Assignment' kicked off with an amusing meet-cute I instantly fell in love with these characters and this story.
Ezekiel (aka Zeke) is a sexy and broody grump and I'm so here for it. As the story and his character developed this man stole my heart and panties. I loved his artistic side and love the arts, I adored the love he had for those in his close circle (i.e. his daughter, mother and family), and O.M.G how I loved his dirty talking and vulnerable side he showed to Catrin.
Catrin is mostly Zeke's opposite. She is all light, happiness and sunshine and well let's be honest Zeke is not.
But..... Together these two are FIRE!
Instantly sparks flew and you could feel the sexual tension between them.
And.... The constant banter they share? Damn it's like a game of foreplay.
I devoured this humorous, sexy, sweet, low in angst and at times swoon-worthy story.
The added story bonus was the inclusion of all my favourite characters from previous books. They added some truly special and utterly hilarious moments.

I loved this and can't wait for the next book in the series!
I Highly Recommend!

I was lucky enough to receive this outstanding book as an ARC .

Zeke , & Catrin’s story has blown we away . Brilliant storyline, & so perfectly written .

Their anger, & then sexual tension , leaps off of the pages & pulls you into their world .

Zeke is an arrogant, rude Viscount, unless he’s with his daughter , then he is the caring, supportive, loving father .

Catrin is a lovable, caring , very organised curator at an art gallery…… & she’s a Green , from the Callaghan/ Greens , & yes, we do get to see members of this great family in this book .

They certainly rub each other up the wrong way when they meet for the first time …. & the second …. & the third , but that fine line between love & hate soon gets erased.

Such an amazing read . Loved every second

This book is Cat and Zeke’s story. She’s smart, organized, beautiful and feisty. He’s also smart and handsome, but he’s not nice, he’s arrogant and brooding, also super rich, old money-royal title kind of rich. They meet at Imogen’s wedding because he’s Noah’s friend. He has an interesting personal story. She’s not what he expected, but also what he needed. They have scorching hot chemistry! Also, I have to say it’s wonderfully awesome to see the Callaghans and Greens in the story, learn what’s going on in their lives and get to know new characters.

Annie Dyer just gets better with each new book and new series! I loved this story!!

I loved Zeke and Catrin. Zeke is the recluse artist and raising his daughter out on his estate. He is the ultimate Mister Grump, doesn’t want to change, and thinks he can do no wrong, except with his daughter does he make you melt. Then we have Catrin, that is all about her career and just loved people with manners. When these two meet they are instantly at each other’s throats. And they keep running into each other and the chemistry between them is hard to ignore, but neither of them acknowledge. Then when Zeke needs the art collection at the state sorted out Catrin is the go to. Now with some what close proximity( since they are on a massive state) and slowly opening up to one another a connection grows between these two, but will the three month assignment be end-mark or will these two take a chance and see what happens? Plus, you can’t forget Nora, Zeke’s adorable daughter, who grows a connection instantly with Catrin that always makes the line of separation even more difficult. Zeke and Catrin will pull you in and have you gripping the pages in anticipation waiting to see what one of them will do? Loved these two and couldn’t get enough of them!

Annie Dyer has absolutely outdone herself! Oh. My. Goodness! Catrin and Zeke are absolutely explosive with chemistry, banter, and teasing! There is never a dull moment with these two and you will find yourself utterly and completely in love with them, as well as their many incredible friends and side characters! Nora stole my heart right along with Hercules, Cook, & so many others! What an excellently written love story! I'm seriously just absolutely obsessed! See y'all on another page!

I love a good sparring match! We are introduced to the lead characters by an amusing meet-cute. I love that the incident causes a book-long argument! Strong woman, stubborn & broken man, lots of crazy family - yet again I was drawn into the Callaghan-Green world, and thrilled to be back!
Zeke is an injured man, not knowing what he needs, until he literally runs into Catrin’s poorly-parked car. As their relationship unfolds, his journey of healing seems a surprise to him. Loved this charming, heartwarming story!

Phenomenal! Every time I read another book by Annie I love it more than the last and this one is no different. I always feel like I am returning home to family and friends when I read one of her books especially the extended Callaghan-Green world that she has created!

Zeke is just a teeny tiny bit grumpy! He loves family, his mother and his daughter, and his other love is his art. He could get lost painting!  Catrin is his complete opposite she adores her large sometimes interfering family and she radiates sunshine well that is until some pompous so and so doesn't watch where he is parking and scraps her car.....all she is wanting is an apology but well Zeke doesn't quite see it like that!

Zeke and Catrin just light up the pages and I couldn't put their story down! The sparks were flying instantly between them both!

I loved seeing all my favourite characters making an appearance or two as the banter between them all never fails to make me smile! I can not wait to read the next book in the series which I think is Maven's but I have one question! When's Shay's book out? I need his like yesterday!

I absolutely loved Zeke and Catrin. They are grumpy/sunshine and enemies to lovers. I love both of those tropes. You don’t often see modern royal (titled) stories. That was a nice change.
When they meet it’s not under the best circumstances. Even though neither of them want to be attracted to the other it happens. They have to work together in close proximity which doesn’t help their situation. Zeke has an adorable daughter named Nora. It was good to see people co-parenting with ease in a friendly manner.
Zeke and Catrin have wonderful chemistry with great banter. Family texts make an appearance. It’s great keeping up with old friends from previous books. I definitely recommend.

When Catrin Green meets Ezekiel "Zeke" Brooksbank, Viscount Davenport, at her sister Imogen's wedding, it's far from love at first sight. She's immediately put off by his rudeness and arrogance when he damages her car in the parking lot. He refuses to apologize for the incident, instead telling her that she's the one who needs parking lessons. Unfortunately, art curator Cat can't avoid artist Zeke forever after the wedding is over; not only has her boss arranged for him to do a showing at the gallery where she works, she's also recommended Cat for the job of cataloging his father's extensive art collection. Forced to spend three months in close proximity on his country estate, the attraction between Cat and Zeke quickly becomes too powerful to resist. Can Cat look beyond Zeke's grumpy exterior to find the loving man within?

I'm a big fan of grumpy heroes, and Zeke was a good one. His difficult relationship with his late father, as well as the circumstances of his father's death, shaped him in a lot of ways, and I empathized with his struggles to come to terms with it all. He did a good job of learning what not to do from his father's example and becoming a wonderful father to his own daughter, Nora, who was honestly adorable. As for Catrin, I loved that she pushed back against Zeke's moodiness; she certainly wasn't afraid to tell him like it was! Their banter was a ton of fun, and their chemistry was absolute fire from the very beginning.

Overall, I loved this funny, sweet, and heartwarming story, which I'd highly recommend for all contemporary romance and romantic comedy fans. I look forward to Cat's sister Maven and brother Shay's stories.

This is only the second book I've read by this author and, seriously, I'm hooked on her writing and definitely need to read more of her work.

"As much as she seemed to hate me, there was something else there. Something I hadn't felt for a very long time, if ever. Passion."

Catrin Green and Zeke Brooksbank get off on completely the wrong foot. Zeke is an arrogant, entitled viscount who doesn't have 'sorry' or 'please' in his vocabulary. He's also a grumpy, reclusive, unsociable artist. Catrin is a gallery curator who is excellent with people and enjoys being surrounded by them. They can't stand each other yet, one stolen kiss and they are under each other's skin. When Catrin is assigned to catalogue a huge art collection at Zeke's ancestral home, he's hoping to get her out of his system. However, quite the opposite happens.

"My heart beats for you. You make me feel like I matter, and you matter more to me than anything, along with my daughter."

I could not put this book down! Zeke and Catrin were FIRE!! Zeke was hot and annoying, but my heart melted seeing him with his daughter. He completely adored that little girl, without spoiling her too much. His vulnerability tugged at my heartstrings and his declaration to Catrin made me swoon. I was so giddy with excitement! Catrin was fun, practical, and sweet, and made no demands on him. Yet, I loved how she snuck her way under Zeke's guard and took up residence in his heart, and made such a difference to his life. They had fantastic banter and set the world alight with their chemistry. I adored this book!!

Fabulous! Smoking hot English gentleman with just the right kind of alpha grumpiness

This book ya’all…. It is all my favorite genres- grumpy billionaire, enemies-to-lovers, and single dad- rolled into one delicious package.
Zeke stole my heart with his grumpy, broody vulnerability and naughty mouth. Catrin’s hilarious hang-up about her car and her feistiness really give Zeke a run for his money. The banter between these two made me laugh out loud. This book begins at the end of the Wedding Agreement (it is a standalone- but if you haven’t read it yet- jump to it). Catrin’s sister is getting married and while she loves a good romance, she doesn’t really want one of her own. Zeke doesn’t believe in real true love. Before the wedding begins, Catrin has a run-in with Zeke when he hit’s her car. She is angry at him because of the scrape, but even more so at his spoiled, entitled, personality-even if he does happen to be a Viscount. Then she discovers he is the groom’s guest and close friend. They barely tolerate each other at the wedding, but there is so much underlying, smoldering tension. After the wedding, fate keeps throwing them together until being in each other’s company is inevitable. When Zeke decides to catalog, sell, and display his father’s extensive and rare art collection, Catrin’s is recommended for the job. Turns out she is one of the best curators for the job, but the problem is that she will be spending a few months at Zeke’s family estate. What could go wrong, right?
Catrin discovers that Zeke is also an upcoming painter and falls in love with his work, his staff and his daughter. Time ticks by faster and faster and they both realize they have more in common than they thought. Their attraction is undeniable and their need for each other grows stronger with every page.
I love how Annie Dyer writes a strong female heroine who doesn’t take anyone’s nonsense but is ok with just being a bit vulnerable. Same for the heroes, I love a hot Englishman with a chip on his shoulder that crumbles like a day-old scone at the chance at love.

This is a hate turning to love between two people who meet at a wedding and start off on the VERY wrong foot. It takes place in England and Catrin and Zeke have a lot in common as they share friends and a love of art and love of being single and are two extremely stubborn people.

They both are very attracted, but they have no idea why as they both don't like the other person at all. When they are forced (sort of) to work together and spend a lot of time together they both start falling for each other.

Zeke is the ultimate grouch and Catrin has a very sunny personality. These two have a lot in common but personality wise they are complete opposites until they start working together and that's when they really start to appreciate each other.

This was a wonderful romance with two people who start hating each other but through time really start to appreciate each other and fall hard for the other one. But they are super stubborn too and at times they made me laugh and want to pull out my hair as well. I totally adored this story so much and loved this couple.

I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I've loved this author's books since day one. The Callaghan Green series is an excellent collection of a dozen or so books set around a blended family in England. This is Cat Green's story and it's a huge winner. Cat is a gallery curator in London. She loves her job and the people around here (tons of Callaghan Green cameos here!). She meets Zeke at a gallery exhibit she's working and is frankly unimpressed. Who wouldn't be? Zeke is grumpy, rude and dismissive. Later she learns he's a 21st Century Viscount, with a side of single dad and a giant house in the country. Cat's asked to come to the house to survey his priceless art collection that his father had curated over decades. From there we start to see Zeke for who he is: a lonely, disenfranchised man with little happiness in his life.

This story is brilliantly written, fully of characters with depth, humor and complicated emotions. So many cameos - Callaghan Green favorites are, of course, all around. But if you look hard, you'll see Ryan from Hollywood Ball and Gabe and Anya from Endless Blue Sea.

This book is my absolutely favorite of Annie Dyer - and she's top 3 favorite of mine. Definitely read the Wedding Agreement first - it's a standalone, but it gives you a lot of background. Enjoy!

⏤ 4 Maple Leaf Review of The Atelier Assignment by Annie Dyer ⏤

Zeke and Catrin have not seen eye to eye since the day they met but that meeting has made it hard for them to forget each other. Zeke hires Catrin to deal with his deceased father's painting collection and the more time they spend together, the more they start to fall for each other.

Zeke and Catrin are the true definition of enemies-to-lovers. The tension and banter between them are thick and electric. I loved Zeke's daughter Nora and her not-so-subtle hints about Catrin to Zeke. The book moved a little slower than I like but was still enjoyable.

The Atelier Assignment is the second book in the English Gents series and is a grumpy/sunshine, billionaire, enemies-to-lovers, single dad, workplace romance told in the dual first-person point of view.

This was a really good book. I wanted to read this one because it's a single dad romance, but also my other jam grumpy sunshine romance. This is the second book in the series. I really liked Catrin a lot. She really keeps Zeke on his toes that's for sure. She shakes up Zeke's order life for the better though he doesn't see it that way. Zeke is one grumpy guy except when it comes to his daughter. Little Nora has him wrapped around her little finger. It melted my heart the scenes with Zeke and Nora. Nora is a little cutie! I loved how much light Catrin brings to Zeke's estate not just with him and Nora, but his entire staff as well. Some dark memories linger with those walls, but Catrin breathes new life into the place. This book had me hooked right form the first page and it was hard to put down. I really like the picture the descriptions painted of the grounds at Zeke's estate in my head. I'd picture a beautiful countryside. I would even want to visit myself. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series and I'm going to go back to read this first book in the series.

The Atelier Assignment
The English Gent Romance #2
Annie Dyer
A castle fit for a fairytale is the backdrop of this masterpiece which includes a modern day Viscount.
Beautiful and feisty, Catrin is most definitely a Callaghan-Green!
“Five Green siblings, seven Callaghans and the three Holland brothers.” It starts with a wedding so all the extended clan are a feature so is all of the banter one would expect from tight-nit siblings and cousins.
Most definitely an enemies to lovers the entitled Ezekiel Frederick Brooksbank, Viscount Davenport certainly got off on the wrong footing with the down to earth ever organised Catrin Green.
This novel just makes me happy. Ms Dyer is a unicorn author for me as her characters are just so well written. I love they are mature with real experiences and fears. The setting is just spectacular between London and Norfolk. This is not a book that is easy to put down, I thoroughly enjoyed every page.
This books is part of a series however can be read as a stand-alone novel with hea.
I received an arc of this book.

What I loved: Catrin and Zeke were the PERFECT enemies-with-undeniable-chemistry and it made their coming together electric and addicting 👏🏼 I loved that neither fully understood why they couldn’t keep their hands to themselves and partially hated themselves for it. I loved Zeke’s relationship with his daughter and his determination to be the father he never had. I also loved the family dynamic Catrin had with her *very* big family. I got a little mixed up from time to time with who was married to whom but I figured it out eventually.

What was lacking for me: The writing got really confusing at times where I had to go back and reread sentences multiple times which definitely took me out of the book. The pacing was also a little off only because it felt like more time should’ve been spent in the middle of the storyline rather than towards the end.

Overall, I enjoyed myself. Loved their chemistry and banter. Loved all the relationships built whether it was friendship, sexual, or familial.

It’s a heartwarming and fun tale that will capture your attention the moment you open the book! I so enjoyed the “meet cute”. Zeke and Catrin will touch your heart in all sorts of ways. You will laugh.

This is the second book in this series and I totally enjoyed it. The grumpy viscount and the adorable, strong art curator. Catrin is no pushover. She’s confidant and smart.
Zeke is the grumpy viscount who is a total pushover for his daughter.
Watching them maneuver and grow through this new mission may have you picking up your tissues in the best of ways.

If you’ve read other books by this author you’ll be happy to be reacquainted with characters from previous books.

I loved this book! The next in the series can’t come soon enough!

THE ATELIER ASSIGNMENT (THE ENGLISH GENT ROMANCES BOOK TWO)

Kindle Unlimited: [X]YES [ ]NO
Stand-alone: [X]YES [ ]NO
Author: Annie Dyer
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Spiciness rating: 🌶🌶🌶/5
POV: Dual, first person
Main Couple: Catrin & Zeke
Favorite Character: Catrin
Tropes: Billionaire romance; single dad; enemies to lovers; grumpy/sunshine; forced proximity; secret relationship

Review:

“𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵, 𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘸, 𝘢𝘴 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘊𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘯’𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘵, 𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦.”

If there is something I always find enjoyable is to read an English romance. There is something fancy about them that I really like. Even more since here we have a Viscount, a estate in Norfolk, stables, house staff. How fancy is this?

Anyways, another thing I love is a hood grumpy/sunshine trope. Here we have Zeke as the extremely grumpy hero, toeing in rude waters several times in the beginning of the book, but he redeems himself by the end (still a grumpy, but not rude anymore). Catrin is hired to catalogue the painting collection of his deceased father and they have to spend 3 months living under the same roof. Catrin brings life to the house and helps Zeke to open himself to life.

Overall, it was a really good romance book, light on the drama, with incredibly good hot scenes and an lovely setting.

I'm becoming slightly obsessed with Annie Dyer, with each new book, they get better and better and I have been in love with each book that comes out for years now and I do not expect that to change.

Zeke and Catrin were adorable and I loved their banter. It was so fun, entertaining, and not so clean in a fun way. I loved how it continued throughout the entire book even as they got together and started hooking up. They had an insane amount of chemistry and it made all of their scenes insanely hot.

Nora was adorable and I loved her storyline. Zeke's relationship with Nora was adorable and their father/daughter relationship was so cute.

Wow! Annie always creates such wonderful characters and Catrin and Zeke (a Viscount!) do not disappoint. They first meet after Zeke scrapes Catrin's car at her sister's wedding and sparks fly! They annoy and fascinate each other equally.
Zeke's father left a large, varied art collection when he died. Now 20 years later Zeke employs the art gallery Catrin works for to catalogue the collection, with the proviso that it is Catrin who stays at his stately home for 3 months to do the work. Tempers flare and passions rise, and that is just in the first week! I could not put this book down because I needed to know what happened next.

I received a free ARC of this book in return for my honest review.

4 - 4.25 Stars!!

Having read The Wedding Agreement last year i couldn't wait for more from this world! As soon as this second installment was announced i started looking forward to it right away. I picked it up as soon as i could and got into it quickly. I so enjoyed this story!

Catrin and Zeke's journey pulled me in right from the get go! These two meet in quite the memorable fashion when Zeke hits Catrin's car at her sister's wedding. It isn't exactly an easy start for these two. As they're brought back into each other's lives through art, i couldn't wait to see how everything would unfold for them.

I was so glad that i got to jump into both of their minds and dig deeper with them. The banter and chemistry between these two was so great! I loved how these two had me feeling so many things from beginning to end!

I could picture it all clearly. I so enjoyed what the other characters brought to the story, especially Zeke's daughter Nora! I was so glad to jump back into The Green family world!

With The Atelier Assignment, Ms.Dyer has created such a good and entertaining read! I can't wait for more from her!

I have read all of this author's books and this book was a lovely addition to a fantastic series.

Zeke is a grumpy artist and single dad, Cat is a career girl in the Art world. They meet at a family wedding and get off on the wrong foot following a slight parking disaster. They both want to dislike each other but as always fate throws them together when Cat is sent to catalogue Zeke's art. I loved both characters and their great banter and steamy chemistry.

As always its great to revisit with a few of the familiar faces from the Callaghan Green series and to be left guessing whose HEA will be next.
