The Dahlonega Sisters, Golden Adventures is a contemporary women's fiction which takes place in the quaint historic town of Dahlonega, Georgia. It is the last of a three book series featuring three mature sisters with unfulfilled dreams. The oldest and always a bit haughty, Rose Ellen, has her heart set on an extravagant Tuscany wedding. She struggles to gain the support of her two sisters and daughter. When she pushes her fiancé's generosity, her whole world starts to crumble.
Meanwhile, Marge toys with a life-long desire to open a bed and breakfast in her large Victorian house. She quickly becomes overwhelmed when her brother explains business 101 to her. She's ready to ditch the dream, but her brother isn't.
On the other side of town, superstitious and a bit revengeful Mutzi sets her mind to becoming a party planner. Her perfectly planned baby shower turns disastrously when someone lets the dog out.
Will any of their dreams come true or does fate have other plans? Come journey with the women in Golden Adventures.
Like tiny seeds nourished with splashes of love, Diane's poetry and short stories find birth from cherished memories, believing each moment should be treasured for all its wonder, disappointment, challenge, and success.
Her woman's fiction novel, The Dahlonega Sisters, The Gold Miner Ring, shares the story of three sisters on a journey that pushes them to listen and understand each other, trust their hearts to allow for change and strengthen the bond of love that connects them as family.
They return in Veins of Gold as Marge learns an outrageous secret she must confirm or disprove before it becomes the town gossip.
You'll fall in love with these delightful, often humorous women as you get to know the quaint, historical town of Dahlonega Georgia.
The first two novels in this series will make you want to come back for more.
This was my favorite of the three books. I loved to see how the sisters pursued dreams, even in later life, and, although the dreams did not pan out the way they'd planned, grew and adapted to even better adventures. I hate that the stories of the Dahlonega Sisters is over. I will miss them - especially quirky Mutzi.
Having visited Dahlonega for my daughters wedding I found all 3 books fun and did a great job of describing the town and it's characters. I found the story a fun easy read
