We begin with Gabriel and his sister, Bella, on the run from Marcones’ men. Gabriel is severely injured but taken in by Julia, who nurses him back to health. The two of them have an undeniable attraction and much of the story centers on the development of their relationship. We also learn of Juliet’s traumatic past and Gabriel’s tragic family history, which features as the subplot to this story. Julia is kind and strong-willed while Gabriel is reasonable and caring. Add in the adorable dog Daisy who also had a traumatic past and aloof but vicious cat, Vader, there is some comic relief to balance the story. While I hadn’t read the prior books, which likely would have added color to Gabriel’s family history seeing as he is tied to the Marcones, and this book serves as a conclusion to this Marcones series, I found the story engaging nonetheless and will likely go back to read the other books. It also opens to another series, which has piqued my interest. Overall, this was engaging from start to finish!

Gabriel is wounded and there are men looking for him to kill him and his little sister.
But an angel rescues him, takes him to her house and takes care of him until he gets better.
That angel is Julia, a woman who runs the animal shelter, and who is sweet and innocent.
Although Gabriel tries to resist at first, he eventually falls for her and begins a relationship with her.
But he has to return home soon, he has to keep looking for his sister, and Julia also has a relationship with his brother Enzo Marcone, who is one of the men who is hunting him.
Julia in the end turns out to be much more that he thought, and in the end it turns out that she is the perfect woman for a man like him: dangerous and lethal.
Very entertaining, I read it in one sitting.

Another compelling page turner in this gripping series.
Dark, deadly & delicious this author continues to weave her magic. The heroine saved him from his pursuers & even injured he couldn't keep his hands & other parts of his anatomy off her & she couldn't resist him either. A surprise reveal near the end of the book cements their relationship even more. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.

This is the last book in the Mafia’s Throne Series which is the dark mafia romance between Gabriel (Gallo) and Julia. This book has strong characters and an intriguing plot. Aidee James has written a book with suspense, drama, unexpected twists, and steamy romance. I highly recommend the finale in this superb series!

Really glad I started and finished this one! I wasn’t going to bother considering how Gabriel has been in the last few books but it was worth reading to hear his side of things and find out why and a bit of his back story.
The ending felt a little rushed, but works overall.
I think Bella should have her own book too, as she is missing for most of this book.

Also love how Santos gets a little cameo and how they slots in to his set of books..

Gabriel is a complicated man who is stuck at a crossroads. Gabriel must fall into line & do what is expected of him. Julia has a trouble past that haunts her even in the daylight. Both characters have big hearts in the eyes for one another. The book has steam & lots of family drama in it. I only wish in this book we got to see a bit more of Bella .

Gabriel and Julia will steam up the pages, wounded and on the run Gabriel finds him self being nursed by Julia, but with trouble near by can he put her into dangers path just to be with her? but even Julia has a past with demons behind her. well written engaging action packed desire filled and more!

Perfectly Broken Couple!

WOW! Gabriel and Julia are just perfectly broken and made for each other! I love how Aidèe James has concluded this series with a couple that you can’t help but adore! And true to her style Ms James has created a H who is alpha and a h who can hold her own! Be mindful of the twists…you won’t see them coming!

Gabriel is on the run when he is injured and taken in by Julia who nurses him back to health. Sparks fly between them and their pasts are revealed. Will Gabriel put Julia in danger? This is the third book in this series and I recommend reading them in order. Great characters with lots of depth, an entertaining story with plenty of drama, suspense and steamy chemistry. I liked.

I absolutely loved the twists in this book. Gabriel and Julia were very cute together. They were the perfect couple and their journey to trust eachother was a very steamy fun adventure. I loved how Enzo, Dillon, Adrian and Willow made an appearance and the ending was perfect. Highly recommend reading.

Fitting ending to the series 5 stars. - How long can Gabriel stay alive? Is his sister still alive? What awaits them when Dillon finds them? What role will Enzo play in the confrontation? Why did Julia save Gabriel? This book is engrossing. It kept me up reading. I like the conclusion of the series. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

Fantastic Series Ending

I have loved this series since Book 1, and Lawless Ruler continued that experience. IThese books have continued to keep me enthralled with all the yummy twists and turns. You never knew exactly what would happen next. And I loved that!!!! These books have renewed my interest in the Mafia genre... Highly recommend reading this series!!!❤❤❤

This is my first read from this author. It has some drama, sense of duty and healing. Julia and Gabriel each have their own issues but find love in each other. Good chemistry and good read.

Must Read!

Gabriel Gallo is definitely a character that you shouldn’t judge by its outer layer. I love that this book gave an insight into who he is and his life story.
Definitely a must read!
