Tragedy is a beast that selects its victims indiscriminately. Grief is not a challenge to be won. There are no victors to be decided, only warriors who endure. Not because love conquers all. But because love is. In this collection, the poet attempts to assign meaning to the depth of pain experienced in her life. But the Universe has no ulterior motive to its machinations. The only Purpose we can divine is our own.
