Hi Everyone. If you're reading this, it means you want to know more about me, which is good because I like to share. Let's see, I'm a 24 year old writer who started writing because the voices in my head told me to. I would have dream after dream that would play on repeat until I would write them out. And that's how most of my books are born. It all starts with a dream. um what else? I'm a big dog lover. I have a little shih Tzu called Mikey who likes to pop up on my Facebook page during giveaways. I have a beautiful little girl, Allison who has started her first year of school this year. She loves reading just as much as I do and seems to enjoy paranormal too. Feel free to Facebook stalk me to find out anything and everything about me
This was bittersweet for me. I’ve waited so long for this book that I was almost sad to start it, knowing it would be over in mere hours. This book brought tears to my eyes but was a brilliant ending to Dani’s story. Of course there are twists and turns as all stories have, but I didn’t see the ending coming. There is so much death in this one, many that are justified and some…well one I wish maybe didn’t happen. But everything happens for a reason and that death helps bring reasoning and closure to the group. Honestly, the wait was long, but it was 100% worth it. Tamara does these characters justice and makes me want to start the story all over again.
I did enjoy this series, but there are a few issues with the storyline. Do not read any further if you don't want spoilers. I can't go into specifics without mentioning details that may give away parts of the ending.
The biggest issue is Lia, Dani's half sister. In order for Lia's mother to be impregnated before Greg participated in the alpha trials, Lia would have to be 3 or 4 years older than Dani. In the first book, the timeline has Greg and Blair leaving the trials before coronation, living on the run for 3 years, then getting pregnant with Dani. So, there is a minimum of 3 years, 9 months between when Greg got Ivy pregnant and Dani was born. There is no way they can both be 18 and have the same father without having Greg cheat on Blair. My guess would put it closer to 4 and 1/2 years apart due to the months that a trial typically takes. Dani's trials took close to 6 months and the entire process was "rushed" by the elders. Example: typically the Queen gets a week with the pack to solve their issue, but Dani only had 3 days. Remember, at the beginning of the story, Dani was 17 years, 2 months old.
Another issue is that Dani came up with the idea of bugs instead of Aiden. Afterall, Aiden is human and electronically savvy. His first thought should have been bugs, not a mole in her inner circle. He spent weeks checking out their pasts and digging up information, but didn't check for listening devices or that their electronics were secure? Not very likely, especially when his livelihood depended on making sure Luke was brought down.
Lots of little things like these held the book back from being truly great.
There were a lot of things about this book that I found disappointing.
The fact that the female main character was pining for the mates that she herself left, and yet not doing anything to reach the point that she could return to them? She was basically being a crybaby at the beginning of the book, and that is not who I expected her to be from the previous books.
The fact that when she came out of her coma, and one of her mates had a female on his lap? And he didn’t realize that was wrong?
The fact that later the author tried to make that entire situation appear innocent because the female was actually her sister?
The fact that she and her sister are somehow the same age which means her father had to cheat on her mother, and yet he supposedly loved her mother?
The fact that one of her mates was a mole and a traitor?
The fact that the “changes” after the curse was lifted didn’t really seem to be that big of a deal?
The fact that we didn’t even get to see her mates react to her being magically revived?
And finally, the fact that the epilogue made absolutely no sense at all? Like, why even bother to toss out a new plot thread that you have no intention of following?
All of those things made this whole series so disappointing. I remember the first time I read it (during the pandemic possibly) I thought it was wonderful. But for some reason, I never read beyond the first chapter of the third book.
I finally reread all three books recently. I ended up lowering my ratings for the first 2 to 3 stars and felt that this book also deserves three stars only because I can’t give it 2 1/2.
Thank you for pulling at my heartstrings and making me cry. Personally if a book can make you cry it's a really good book, well this series is a reallygood series not just one book so that's even better. Book one of this series was what got me to read books by Tamara White and I'm so glad I did because her books are always amazing! The amazing world building and wonderful character development sucks me I'm everytime and makes me not want to put the book down. I loved this finale to this series, it was everything I needed to tie everything up. Yes I'd love to see a spinoff and to see the characters again in some way but this book was amazing and makes me want to reread the entire series again.
This final book was simply amazing! The story pulled me in and kept me engrossed way beyond my bedtime 😁. Although Dani ran from the coronation, she did not feel worthy of the crown at that time. She ended up in Eli's pack and the rest of her mates found her there. She starts the bonding one by one with them.
Someone is betraying her by leaking information to Luke! So many decisions for a 17 year old girl. You're never going to believe what the final trial is!
I think you will probably absorb this final book in the series. The family and personalities, that come into play, will leave you wanting more.
Good lord was this book bitter sweet! Danis journey for me was an absolute joy to read and I honestly am not sure how I feel it been over, book three of the series was for me the accumulation of growing up and being one hell of a heroine and the author nailed it from start to finish! Some thing that happened had me literally sobbing but I feel they needed to happen for the story to truly have such an impact , I applaud Tamara white in how she wrote this book knowing some followers would be unhappy but I feel it was the best outcome by far and I am so happy I have joined dani in her her journey bravo!!
This series is one of the first RH series I stumbled across, with the author being one of the first Indie Authors for me. It’ll always have a special place in my heart, reading about the characters is like a little home coming.
I loved seeing Dani grow as not only a young adult, but also a leader. Watching the dynamics between her and the guys, finding their way in a new kind of relationship. It was just so good.
As the long awaited conclusion to the series, it’s all going on. Non stop action and character development. It was great to see and I cannot wait for more from that world, in the form of other characters.
Grab some tissues, wine and chocolates, this series ending will have you wanting them all and asking for more. It isn’t all smooth sailing for Dani and her Pack of deliciousness but they have tackled and conquered their trials together now they need to do so again. There are twists and turns and the occasional desire to maim throughout the book, but it’s not as bad as the cliffhangers we have been left with before.
Congratulations Tamara on the finishing of the series and who knows maybe some favourites could make appearances in the shared world 🥰
I have been waiting for this book for so long and I was so disappointed with the book as a whole but mostly the ending. It completely dismissed the whole premise of the series; the love Dani has in her heart for everyone and most of all for her mates shines throughout the first two books but this last installment completely misses bar. It doesn’t feel like it was written by the same person it’s is so out of series. Extremely gutted, this book had so much promise.
OMG, this book was beyond fantastic. I could not stop reading it and read it everywhere I went. This book moves along at a really nice speed which makes for an extremely enjoyable and relaxing read that you can easily lose yourself in. You will love these characters and you feel as though you know them and you want to be there for them. This book is a must read, there is no doubt about it. It needs to be on your TBR list. No doubt about it.
1st of all I love all things Tamera. I feel like I have been waiting for this book forever. But some things are 100% with the wait. Thats the case with this book. I was so happy to have this book in my clutches the second it was available . So many things I could say about this book, but mostly I reconnected reading the 1st two in the series to the amazing characters this author had. Thank you thank you for your amazing skills !
Too many times I have excitedly read the last book in a series only to be disappointed! Not this time, no ma’am, this last in series was so incredibly exciting. I ran the gamut in feels, I was hooked to the page experiencing the highs and lows along with Dani. Well written it ticks all the boxes, and as sad as I am for the end of this series, wow what an ending
Anything Tamara writes is pure gold. The ending to this series leaves me fully satisfied but wanting to beg for more. It also leaves the possibility of a spin off of the series that I would happily look forward to reading. It has action, hard choices, will make you want to cry...laugh...throw the phone or just finish it so you can read it again all over. It was an amazing read from a awesome author.
This is the perfect ending to a long awaited series. I have read and reread this series I don't know how many times in anticipation of this book and it didn't disappoint. I love how the characters have grown and changed through this series. Dani has changed so much and I love to see that change. This book will hit you in all the feels at various points and I love the connection to Hidden Wolf that I now have to go reread. I can't wait to see what this author comes up with next.
Brilliant read. Dani is licking her wounds. Hiding herself away to protect what remains of herself. The Trials have not been what they had promised to be, and Dani has a lot of thinking to do, thinking about what action she needs to take to help protect her pack. Her mates are just wanting the best for her, but she is just not ready yet to formally bond. There is lots to think about in this book, Lots of Action and a lot of Finger biting!!! This was a great read.
I am so sad this series is over! I fell in love with the characters and the world built from the first book. This book did not disappoint. I got all the feels. The trials that were set forth seemed almost impossible and Dani was given crazy hard decisions but she is stronger then she thinks and is the ultimate leader. And holy heck her mates are amazing and I love Jake and Rick they make the perfect friends and enforcers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wow, this was such a good ending to this series. The way she took the story, and all of the twists and turns, Tamara White really went all out for this one. This took me on an amazing adventure and took me through the wringer emotionally. Thank you for another great book Tamara! This series was so good!
I’ve just finished this book and oh my god the twists and turns in this book had me riveted, there were times when I nearly cried and there were times when I got just as mad as Dani! Absolutely loved the twist at the ending and feel that it was very befitting of the journey Dani and her mates went on. Cannot recommend this series and this author enough!
I love tamara’s stories. This series has been amazing to read! I love the twist towards the end of the book I.e the traitors identity and the plot behind it.
There are few thing I would of thought could of been done differently but I did thoroughly enjoy reading it.
Give Thai series a read. You won’t be disappointed.
This book was the conclusion to a series that I have loved since the first book was written. I laughed and cried with this book and fwlt for the characters as they celebrated life and grieved with them. Tamar White once again writes a book that has many emotions and the characters depth growa. If you haven't read about Dani and her guys you should.
This book was fantastic all the twist and turns was amazing and literally had u mind blown to which way it will go once u think that’s the way it’s going to go it goes in a complete different direction all I can say is it’s amazing I’m literally can’t get over it just want dani and her guys to carry on
Loves this book was a great conclusion to the series and would definitely recommend. For a 17 year old she has some huge decisions to make and it's great reading about how she gets through. The trial will suprise you all. Definitely recommend worth the wait.
Great book, Tamara definitely creates a world to lose your self in for a little while. Definitely worth every minute of waiting for this book. Grab your favorite drink and blanket and drive into this series.
An incredible ending to this amazing series. I loved all the twists and turns, the realness of Dani and her men, and a conclusion that was well worth the wait. I wish I could say so much more, but since I'm afraid to give too much away I'll leave it with grab your copy and dive right in.
This was EPIC!💖 Omg I love love love Tamara her writing is always ah-ducking-mazing this is the final part of our girls Dani's story and I devoured it! This is so well written and the perfect happy ever after!!!
Loved how the story wrapped up. Even with all of the lows that were meant to happen there was still an amazing happily ever after. So many little teasers left in here for future stories too!
The series as a whole was good. I was disappointed when in the last book I realized all the smut scenes were fade to black though. The ending was at first heartbreaking & then meh, & the worst epilogue I’ve ever read.
Tamara White hits it out of the park with the third book in this series. Action, romance, and a surprise ending captures the readers attention and holds strong right up until the end.
Awesome conclusion to this series. I loved the storyline and how it wasn’t overran by spicy scenes. Also enjoyed how the ending links up to Hidden Wolf.
