From the tragic seven scholars of Jian'an to the wise yet sad celebrities during the Zhengshi period on the substitution of Wei and Jin dynasty, from the unconventional and unrestrained seven sages of the bamboo grove to the celebrities in central mainland in the chaotic time while the five minority groups invaded the central plains and the celebrities during the Taiyuan period after Sima Rui moved the capital to Jiankang (modern Nanjing). They were politicians, philosophers, literati and poets. Some were gifted, some were straightforward, some were brave, and some were like madmen. They finally got rid from the altar of being a morality model and became vivid and unduplicated individuals that made us respect and appreciate. The individuals full of sparkling wisdom and beauty of life were like wine or sunshine that give us the samples of being noble, honest and lovable. In this age of hustle and bustle with crowded crossroads that make us anxious, may more of us can see them.
