Tui T. Sutherland, who sometimes writes under the pen name Rob Kidd, is a children's book author who has also written under the pen name Heather Williams. She shares another pen name, Erin Hunter, with writers Kate Cary and Cherith Baldry when they collaborate with editor Victoria Holmes on the Seekers and Warriors series of novels.In 2009, she appeared as a contestant on Jeopardy!, becoming a two-day champion and winning a grand total of $46,200.

Не знам дали е нормално да се кефя толкова много на пиратски книжки, които според изсателите уж са писани за деца между 8 и 12 години. Не знам и дали е нормално младежките приключения на Джак Спароу под книжна форма да ме забавляват далеч повече от всички филмови продължения на оригиналния „Карибски пирати: Проклятието на черната перла”. Е, ако не е нормално, то тогава ще излезе, че книжките „Джак Спароу” на Роб Кид чисто и просто са ненормално яки! Днес се носим по вълните с третата част – „Преследването на пирата”. Estamos ante un libro Disney. Creado para niños e infantil, pero que queréis que os diga, yo lo he disfrutado como un crío. Ver a un Jack joven, antes de todas las historias de todas las películas, me ha dado la vida. Es un personaje que para mí significa mucho.

No hay mucho que decir, es un libro cortito, siendo fiel a la leyenda pirata que siempre fue Jack Sparrow, manteniendo su personalidad repelente y extravagante. Y pensar que ya era así desde niño, me hace pensar en él con más cariño aún.

A veces he de admitir, que me lo imaginaba siendo adulto, con la voz de sus doblajes y maquinando todo tipo de arguacias rastreras y aventuras por doquier.

He vuelto a mi niñez, el crío que hay dentro de mi ha disfrutado de lo lindo. No puedo desgranar una obra que está creada solo para disfrutar. Así que como reseñador, hoy me dejo llevar.

Another one of Jack Sparrow's adventure books I received back in 2013 from my dad. It has been eleven years and these small books are better written than most of the adult fiction and fantasy we read in the present day!

The adventure of the crew of Barnacles is not to be missed by any kid! I'd suggest you buy a copy from the series any time you visit the bookstore, for yourself and any minor around you.

A bit about the book: From the Waves of the Carribean to the Shores of a Faraway Island, the sword of Cortes is pointing to its stolen home! A lively town turned to a ghost, is telling a tale of all that is to come!

I can tell you that I enjoyed this book so much that I couldn't wait for my next audible credit to get the next book in the series. I actually purchased the next bundle, books 4 through 6, because I had to know where this arc was going. I highly recommend this as a fun summer read for adults who remember watching Pirates of the Caribbean with Johnny Depp. The audible versions are great because the narrator does a fantastic job of emulating Jack Sparrow's way of speech.

Fun story about a young Jack Sparrow. If you love Pirates and Jack, then this is a fun read about the start of the story of how Jack became Jack. I like how they’re separate but continue the story well and connected

I love that the ending is so interesting that you can't wait to read the next volume.
In any possible way you can't just stop reading it , cuz from the start tell the end the story is exciting and you will never get bored of the scenes.

Its a fast read for upper elementary students because the vocabulary at the beginning is a little more advanced. I found this book in the basement of the school when I was looking for other things so I have not read the first two books. However the story is easy to pick up and any references to previous books have an footnote with it. There is not really any great lesson to the book but its a quick adventure read. From what I can gather, really the whole series could probably been put together in one book. There is a reference to a father getting drunk too often and some magic but other than that very suitable for students.

I read this entire series when I was a preteen or young teenager. I LOVED each and every one of these and I waited impatiently for each new installment.
Being an avid Disney fan and the POTC ride in Disney World is my favorite, and the POTC movies were among my most-watched movies, I could not contain myself when my dad found these for me in the book store.
Although I have not read them in years, I remember them fondly and I strongly recommend them to anyone who likes pirates, tie-in novels, or just exciting adventuress. I think these would be a hit for reluctant readers as well (even though I did not classify as a reluctant reader, these grab you quickly and are pretty easy to get into).
