Written for ages 8-12, Paul's Big Letter will take your child on a fun, engaging, and understandable journey through the Book of Romans. A helpful resource for parents, grandparents, pastors, ministry leaders, and personal devotions, Paul's Big Letter aims to bridge the gap that often exists for children when Paul's epistles are being studied and expounded. May your children come to see the glory of God's gospel!
I didn't think Romans would be a book that could be condensed into such a small read, much less made more simple for kids. This book does it pretty well.
The big idea for each chapter is boiled down into a single, easy to understand sentence along with the key verse. Then the author uses a short, made up story to illustrate the idea. At the end of each chapter is a list of questions and talking to points around the idea.
There are some cool illustrations by Paul Cox as well. This is definitely worth reading over with children, my guess is maybe 7-13
This is a great book for kids to understand the scope of each chapter in Romans as it can be easy for them to get bogged down in the intricacies of how Paul writes. This book does a great job of making it accessible for kids and also relatable for them. I love how each chapter has a key verse, and discussion questions! We are going through Romans in our church right now so it has been an excellent resource so that my kids can get the big picture while we study in detail on Sundays.
I read this with my 8 year old daughter. This is a wonderful overview of each chapter of Paul's letter to the Romans! Easy for children to understand and apply.
