“You’re lucky I have a soft spot for my wife. Anyone else tried to steal my son, and they’d be dead.”

Listen, this is like a fanfiction to me. Is it the best writing? No. Is it entertaining? Yes, when you’re not mad at the characters. This couple was the least annoying. She was the smarted of the three so far but still, I wonder so much about these women.

Anyways, this mafia romance follows Karina and Aurileo, which I kept calling Aurelio the whole time in my head as I read. Because a.) I’ve actually heard that name before and b.) there is this hottie in a Mexican drug dealing soap opera named Aurelio Casillas. Yum.

Seriously, yum. I don’t even care for that soap opera but the cast is 👌🏼

*Back to this story and this review.*
This story has a beginning chapter with a one night stand then it starts 6 years later when a hotel messes up and gives Karina the wrong keys. Which… would never happen!! But a story has to start somewhere. Honestly this was the only dumb thing she did. I was very proud of our MC this time around. I mean, other than, falling in love with a mafia interrogator. But again, we must have a story!

I think I’ve gotten over my mafia obsession for now. I’ll see if I continue the series later. It leaves a bittersweet feeling. Kind of like I wasted my time reading but also it was so fast and easy.

Willow Fox continues to keep my interest in her books! This is the 3rd story in the series and the stories just keep getting better and better! This is the story of Karina and Aurielo. Karina met Aurielo at a party that her and her twin sister Ivy decide to crash. They have no idea whose party it is, but Ivy is able to get them into it by saying they are the Bianchi sisters. Karina is the sister who does they right thing and is not as wild as her sister Ivy. At this time, Aurielo is working for the Rinaldi mafia family. He is dark, dangerous, handsome and is immediately attracted to Karina. He knows she’s a Bianchi sister because Etta is his ex. Instant attraction between them leads to one eventful night for Karina and Aurielo who will never see each other again. Or will they?

6 years later we find Karina working as a Pediatric nurse with a 5-year-old son. She did not know Aurielo’s last name or even where to find him, so she raised him by herself. Her sister Ivy has given her a day at the spa and when she walks into the hotel room, she quickly finds out that something is going on. She is caught before she can leave and Don Rinaldi orders Aurielo to kill her. Aurielo has never forgotten Karina and no other woman was able to satisfy his needs. To save her, she must marry Aurielo. Karina is not the same woman she was 6 years ago. She is a fighter and will do everything she can to protect her family. Now that she knows Aurielo is mafia, she will not tell him he is a father. Both Aurielo and Karina have a hard time trusting, and because of this, danger is waiting around the corner.

There is danger, action, passion, lots of emotions, betrayal, deception, trust issues, family along with some twists and turns. Another great story and I cannot wait to see what is going to happen next in this series! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is my first book by Willow Fox, and I throughly enjoyed the book. It’s a Mafia Romance, that is intense, and has twice and turns throughout the story

We have our Twins Ivy, the wild one who loves partying, and the the more reserved twin, a pediatric oncology nurse in a hospital. Karina was a workaholic, it was hard being a single mom. Karina felt uncomfortable going to a party they where not invited to attended, but Ivy insisted they go! So she tag along with her twin after discussing that it would be good for her.

Karina and Ivy where successful getting in the party, Ivy was already dancing with someone when Aurielo approached Karina to dance. The dancing did not last long before she fines herself bent over in his office desk and was getting f#@ked. This was a very hot scene. Aurielo new that she was an imposture, because the names they used was his ex, Etta. He started asking question when they where interrupted by a guard stated that they had two imposture at the party. Karina took off running for her life. She was lucky enough to fine the exit after being lost in the mansion. And this was the beginning of the story……
Six years later, with a five year old boy in tow, name Aston. Karina was a superwomen working as much as she could to have a happy home for her son that she loved wholeheartedly. Her sister, helped by babysitting or picking up Aston at school. Ivy decided to give her a spa day So she could relaxed. When she check in and went to her suite, she walk into Room with a large Duffy bag. She had no idea what she walk into, the Duffy bag was full of guns. Then she notice noice, in the bedroom, she open the door and saw a man tide up and been question by Aurielo, and his Don Rinaldo. He ordered to kill her they never leave witnesses. Karina took ok off and ran to another bed room and Aurielo followed. They spoke and then……….

Sorry guys, you going to have to read this book yourself to fine out. After reading Savage Vow, I went back and purchase the first and second book, and the upcoming fourth book. Willow has gotten my attention now and I will be adding her to my priority author list.

Okay

I can't say that I enjoyed this book as much as some of this authors other novels. The story had some merit in the form of the anti-hero Aurielo, but Karina's character was a huge disappointment. Aurielo's character had more substance, was much more interesting/real whereas hers character felt contrived and dumbed down.

Karina is supposed to be a pediatric oncology nurse who is well educated and is nothing like her twit of a sister, Ivy. Karina does some stupid things throughout this book that just had my head going....what is wrong with this woman; due to her mouthy, crass, bitchy sister Ivy. I am not sure why the author painted Karina's character as a dumbed down version of her twin sister Ivy ( what did she do for a living?) that did nothing to enhance the storyline, but did make Karina look like a trained dog when it came to her sister's constant inability to make sound decisions.

Who crashes a Mafia engagement party under a high ranking Mafia princess's name and then has a one night stand with a guy she doesn't know and who is most likely associated with the Mafia? Who has unprotected sex with a complete stranger, get's pregnant and lies to her sister how it all happened.? Who never attempts to find out who knocked her up or doesn't try to find out who the father of her son is? Who is staying at a hotel and just happens to enter a room where said Mafia is torturing a victim. Who continually sticks her nose into trouble and then can't understand why her life is a mess...Karina. This supposed intelligent woman is a complete train wreck in this book. Her only redeeming move is when she is forced to marry Aurielo or die. Her sister's final attempt at screwing with Karina's life with the staged car wreck so she and her son can escape the Mafia and Aurielo was it for me. The old saying that their are several forms of intelligence or lack thereof in human beings was certainly prevalent in this heroine.

The only saving grace of this book was Aurielo's character whom forgave Karina time and time again when she did stupid things and who was doing everything he could to protect her from getting killed by his boss and his enemies. His character although ruthless, was a softer side of Mafia men. His character represented more of a 21st century approach to organized crime. He was likeable and had many qualities for a man in this genre. His boss.....not so much. I kept reading this book because of him. Ivy's character drove me nuts and Karina.....well her character was a big disappointment.

A feisty hardworking gal crashes a party only to come face to face with a man who sweeps her off her feet and leaves her with a surprise. Several years later a much needed day away she walks into the wrong hotel room and her life is turned upside down coming face to face with the man she never forgot and her sons father.

Another great read with twists and turns guaranteed a HEA.

Karina spends a crazy night of passion with Aurileo, but it is not until 6 years later that their paths cross again.
A mistake with the keys to a hotel room makes Karina witness something she shouldn't, and the only way to get out alive is to agree to marry Aurileo.
Karina has secrets to hide but the threat of death from a rival family causes everything to be discovered.
Not bad, I like the tug of war between the characters, but still something is missing.
But at least it has helped me to meet this author and I will continue reading her books.

**potential spoilers **

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I felt like it had the potential to be great but it really lacked something. Not only that the female lead was so bratty in my opinion. It felt very immature and kind of rushed. It was honestly just an okay read for me. Initially, it did look interesting but, then I found it average as I kept on proceeding and compared to other mafia romances I’ve read recently it just wasn’t really comparable.

Secret Vow is a mafia romance between Dante and Nicole. Nicole is the daughter of Dante's enemy. She knows Dante's name but not his face. An attempt to escape her controlling father leads to a bar hookup with Dante or "Daniel" as he calls himself. Nicole's father sells her as part of a human trafficking ring for punishment and Dante "buys" her to rescue her.

I feel like this story has a lot of good things about it, but it just seems like it isn't quite finished. I like how the story started right away with Dante's POV to set up the story. There is a great amount of detail with Dante finding and saving Nicole and them setting up their live together. These two sizzle and are on fire every time they are in the same room together. There's good development of the back story and an appropriate amount of tension between the warring crime families.

What I'm missing is their big connection. The climax of the story still feels like the beginning for them. I don't see where they fall in love or how they really choose to be together. The end feels very rushed and I was honestly expecting a cliffhanger because I didn’t feel like their story had finished. That said, Id still be interested to read the next book in the series to see if that helps tie this together, and to see if we get some closure in the end instead of the cliffhanger.

I’m really getting frustrated with my selection of books lately. This story (like the others recently) had so much potential, but I feel it is underdeveloped. Karina has a one night stand that results in a pregnancy. Six years later she learns the man (Aurelio)she shared one night with is a part of the mafia. Aurelio marries Karina to save her life and really doesn’t do anything to her to deserve her mistrust. Repeatedly through the story she talks about how he is such a monster, but the author doesn’t explore the “dark behavior” that warrants him being called a monster. The author made the mob life a convenient and distant background of the story and not really giving it the attention being apart of the mafia deserves. Then, suddenly like whiplash Karina realizes he isn’t so bad after all. In my opinion he was never a savage monster to begin with because he didn’t do anything to deserve the name; hence is why I feel the story could use more development. It isn’t a bad story but there is more story about Karina and Aurelio left untold.

When Aurielo is ordered to take out a witness he doesnt expect it to be Karina the woman he shared one whirlwind moment with 6 years ago and had been on his mind ever since. Karina's lives a busy life, between being a nurse and looking after her son Ashton, her sister decides to treat her to a hotel for a night away only it turns her into a lose end. The moment Aurielo see her again he know he will do anything to keep her safe, even making her marry him knowing she would never forgive or love him back. But what of her secret, she can never let him know, not now she knows he's mafia.  Can Aurielo keep his family safe when his past comes for revenge, will Karina ever be truly his? Well written mafia captive romance, filled with suspense, twists, desires, steamy scenes and more! Can be read as standalone

Karina is the responsible twin so she thinks that one crazy night from several years ago is behind her she's a nurse and even though there were permanent consequences. When her sister thinks she's been working too much she gifts her a spa day. When Karina checked in and went to her suite she walked into a room with a duffel bag full of guns a tied up guy and Aurielo with Don Rinaldo. This is not good she should not be in that room especially when the Don says to kill her they don't leave witnesses. Karina tried to run to the other bedroom but Aurielo followed her and the two of them spoke to each other since they share history. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this book to see what happens.

I got up this morning intending to do housework, however six hours later all that I have accomplished is finishing this book. And I’m not mad about it.

This is a secret baby, arranged marriage mafia book, the third in Willow Fox’s series. It is a stand-alone, with different characters from the previous two so you will have no trouble jumping in. I do hope there will be more featuring the Rinaldi Family as I’d love to see Francesco brought to his knees by a woman.
I loved the couple in here. Aurelio and Karina had so much fire between them. I felt it from their first meeting. They kept me glued to the page. It was such a good book. Big thumbs up from me. Oh, and five stars of course.

I received an arc for an honest review

Advanced reader copy received from Booksprout and author in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced in any way.

Ms Fox is a new author for me and I throughly enjoyed Savage Vow. It has great characters , chemistry , storyline and plot !
Aurielo and Karina meet at an engagement party and after a one night stand go their separate ways. Fast forward six years later when the pair meet again ; unexpectedly when Karina accidentally witnesses a brutal crime. Aurielo is an interrogator for the Ronaldi family. The only way Aurielo can protect Karina is by marrying her.

This was a great read !

I loved this book… my oh my was it spicy! I could not put this book down. I read a few of the other reviews and I didn’t see what they were saying but to each their own. This story has so many emotions, and a very action-packed storyline you won’t be bored. I will say I did not read the other books in this series before I read this one and I had no issues keeping up with anything… however I plan on reading the rest of the series… I would definitely recommend this book, but if you can’t read a well-written spicy book maybe skip it and not leave a bad review.

Twice Karina ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Once she leaves with her son, the second she leaves with a husband. She is thrust into the mafia world but is adamant that she is not going to quit her job as a nurse. Thus begins the attempt to try and merge their lives together- mafia and the real world. There is obvious tension, but the underlying attraction and passion from the past has not left.
I will point out that this story moves away from Breckenridge, where the other stories in the series have been set. It can be read as a stand alone.

Aurelio is a hitman for the Mafia and Karina has a price on her head.
I loved this book. So full of drama that just grabbed me from the start. I loved Aurelio and how he was with Karina. It was a hard fight as he had a duty to do but he couldn't bring himself to do it. I loved that war he waged within himself. This was steamy, intense and just downright explosive between Karina and Aurelio. Loved it! Can't wait for more.

I absolutely loved this book. Aurielo is such an alpha male, even though he is very ruthless, he has a strong soft spot for his family. I totally see where Karina is coming from when she does what she does. The passion between them is so intense and sizzling. I was pulled into this wonderfully dark story from the very beginning and couldn’t stop reading till I found out what would happen with Aurielo’s family.

This is a well written mafia story with strong characters in Aurielo and Karina. The author brings an action packed arranged marriage full of drama and emotions. She had me glued to the pages with all of the twists and turns as well as the trust issues that prevents her from telling him they have a son. I loved reading their story and am looking forward to the next book.

Laughable

Dark Mafia? No way. High school gangs are more violent. Altercation six men to one and two men just destroy a little furniture in a house. Reason for the one Aurelio being at house? Took wife and son so could play catch with the five year old. Book is written in snippets with relevance of certain chapters rating zero on connectivity scale to story. Gave up when Karina stumbled upon unguarded torture chamber in basement. This is not mafia story.

I like this story. I'm hoping the next one is about Ivy. The thing that bothered me throughout the whole story was the educational level of the 5 year old. I mean aren't five year old learning how to use scissors and how to print their letters? Multiplication?? That's all that got to me. lol cute book though.

I love Mafia reads especially good ones. Aurelio is a Mafia hitman ordered to kill Karina because of what she knows. Only he does not want to therefore the drama begins. There is action, heat, secrets and all out war basically. If you are a Mafia lover this is for you. Great writing.

The best yet!

I have to say this is my favorite book in the series so far. It's incredibly fast paced and some people may not like that but I think it was done pretty well. The H this time around was pretty great honestly, when it came to his family he was just trying to do right by them. This will be great as a re read later!

Not my cup of tea

I love mafia romances, but this book had a few contradictions. Such as the main character saying he hadn’t slept with anyone in 6 years then he has a possible child with someone else. A kindergartner doing multiplication? They are just learning to count to 100 at that age lol. Very bland story.
