Willow has loved writing since she was in high school (many ages ago). Whether she’s writing romance or sitting outside by the bonfire reading a good book, Willow loves the magic of the written word.
Featuring ~ dual 1st person POV, one night stand, billionaire, slow burn, minimal steamage
This is slow burn on the romance and on the mafia side. I haven't read too many mafia books, but Jace seems awfully too sweet to be a don. From what one expects based on the movies, this seems to be quite tame, with very little mafia action. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy it, but I am not sure where the "dark" or "arranged marriage" comes into play.. It is well written and flows along nicely though.
*Thanks to Willow Fox for the ARC. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review*
Olivia and Jace don't have the usual start to a relationship this one starts with Jace wanting a surrogate mother, along comes Olivia thinking she is applying to be a personal assistant. The story behind it is Jace is a billionaire business man but he is also a Mafia Don. Twists and turns along the way and an eye opener for Olivia when she finds out who was behind the murders of her husband and son. I received this as an ARC copy and he is my honest opinion, it's well written and has a good story behind it, a bit unbelievable at times but this is fiction so anything goes.
First off, there was no arranged marriage. This book was pathetic really! An absolute joke. It's a first for me tho' reading about a dyslexic mafia henchman that got a father and son killed and the Mafia don tags them as casualties of war....how willow gonna waste my time like that!?! She didn't put an effort into this book and to think you pay for these crap ass books is truly painful.
I really did enjoy this book, the storyline is entertaining from start to finish. I love how this book has differences from most mob romance stories, and you get a different side of a mafia don. What's hotter than a man that will do anything to protect his family and will do anything for his daughter. There are a few steamy scenes, so beware if you can't handle those in books. Overall it's a great read and I can't wait to see more from Willow.

Another great book in this series! Willow Fox is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. This is the story of Jace and Olivia. Jace is a mafia don who is looking for a surrogate to provide him with an heir without having to deal with a wife. Olivia is just an ordinary woman whose dead husband left her with some debt that was due to Luka (another mafia don). Luka forces Olivia to apply for a job as an assistant with Jace’s company so she can obtain information for him. Olivia is homeless, broke and living in her car when she is presented with the opportunity to be the surrogate for Jace. Olivia can be sassy, feisty and somewhat naïve at times as she didn’t realize that Jace was a part of the mafia.
I was intrigued with this story from the beginning. I had a very hard time putting my kindle down and just wanted to see what was going to happen. Olivia thought she was trying to keep Jace safe, while Jace was drawn to Olivia almost from the start. Jace has a protective nature about him and wanted to protect her. Luka on the other hand only wants to use Olivia to get to Jace – at all costs! Even spilling some of his secrets. There are lots of secrets, deception, betrayal, chemistry, drama, and a happily ever after. Great characters with a great story. I cannot wait to see what is next in this series! This one had a lot of promise but failed to deliver. First, there was no arranged marriage and the mafia aspect was not done very well in my opinion. Maybe I've read too many mafia books but this one read very juvenile. I did not connect with Olivia and Jace at all. I finished it because I rarely DNF a book no matter how awful they are. I wish I liked it more because it's got a few of my favorite tropes but it just fell flat for me.
Do you ever pick up a book knowing exactly what you’re going to read? You think, “This is going to be a (another Mafia Story)” and then you start reading and realize you were one hundred percent, right? The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! Bad boy….check (ALPHA (yep in all caps)) Bod boy’s crazy brother/friend…check Bad boy’s Kryptonie…check ….check and check By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how much you hate and wish for harm on others or just a wake up call, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! You will start it and You will not put it down until the last page has been turned. Can’t say I didn’t warn you. Olivia is struggling trying and failing at keeping her head above water since her husband died leaving with all his debt from a Mafia family so while sleeping in her car homeless, the mafia boss demand she takes a job with their competitor also mafia as a spy. When she applies for the job, the boss doesn’t need an assistant he wants a surrogate. Jace sexy as all get out Mafia and wants a baby but with out the baby mama drama so he is looking for a surrogate which is the job he offers Olivia she is sassy, feisty, and not too bright in her way of thinking, but she will get there with Jace’s help. Jace is pure alpha, and a protective alpha at that with the attraction building between them all she wants to do is protect him, but will he be able to forgive her because it is a sense of betrayal but also add to that the suspense, drama and you get this ride here so buckle up it’s a wild one will it lead to happiness?

What happens when your whole life crashes down around you? Olivia has lost her child through a fire, has medical bills to pay and a mob boss(Luka) who expects her to pay up what her ex-husband owes him.
Olivia interviews for an assistant position with Jace, a billionaire businessman and also a mob boss. He is also looking for a Surrogate to have his heir. He is intrigued by Olivia and attracted to her. He knows right away he wants her in his life. Instead he offers her the Surrogate position. Olivia thinks about it and ends up agreeing to be his Surrogate.
Luka, the other Mob boss is after Jace. He wants all Jace has; his money and territory. When he sees Olivia's involvement in Jace's life, he wants her too.
Can he keep Olivia safe from the danger surrounding them?
I loved Jace and Olivia's story! Jace realizes Olivia has some secrets and is down on her luck and he goes above what he has to to make sure she has a roof over her head and food before she even becomes pregnant. When she does conceive she moves into Jace's home so he can "be a part of the pregnancy" and it certainly starts to get steamy between them. They are both fighting the attraction.
After Olivia is abducted by Luka, she learns some hard truths about Jace. She also goes into preterm labor and is rushed to the hospital, where she delivers Jace's baby, small but healthy.
Now Olivia has to deal with what she learned about Jace and deal with post partum issues. All Jace thinks about it how he misses her....

Olivia’s husband died whilst in debt to Don Luka Caruso. The debt was handed down and now Olivia is broke, living in her car and trying to get a job. Luka tells her she’s got an interview for the next day. Jace Barone is the billionaire owner and director of Barone industries. He interviews her, but their wires have been seriously crossed somewhere, because Olivia is there for a job and Jace wants a surrogate! Once they get on the same page, Olivia ends up both as Jace’s surrogate and his receptionist. Unfortunately Don Caruso doesn’t let up…texting her, sending her hand delivered envelopes at work which makes Olivia thinks he might have someone working for Jace. He even turns up at work telling her he will hurt Jace if she doesn’t help him get everything he wants. The one thing that Olivia doesn’t realise though, is that Luka Caruso and Jace Barone are rival mafia families….and she’s trying to get pregnant for Don Barone. This was a thoroughly enjoyable and well written mafia read. It was interesting and entertaining from start to finish, and the banter between Olivia and Jace is very amusing. It’s book four in the series but can be read as a standalone. Brilliant.

This was a 5 star read for me and I should like to thank Booksprout and Willow Fox for providing me with an ARC in return for an honest review. This booked hooked me in from the very first sentence to the very last. With the exception of Luka who I was supposed to hate and did, I loved all the characters. This was no ordinary romance and certainly no ordinary Mafia Romance book. It was steamy where it needed to be and sensitive where called for. The characters were believable and engaging. Who could fail to love Olivia? Jace every girl's dream and his bad wasn't so bad. This book contained so much to keep a reader riveted and could have gone in many different directions. I never saw some of the twists and turns coming that did. This has made me want to read every single book that Willow has written prior to this and all that she will write in the future. If you love your Mafia men romantic, bold, handsome, dangerous, dark, sensitive and everything in between then this an absolutely 5 star must read for you. Again, my thanks to Booksprout and Willow Fox for allowing me this ARC and the opportunity to review in return. Willow now has one more dedicated fan and reviewer in me!
Advanced reader copy received from Booksprout and author in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced in any way. Thanks to Booksprout I’ve been introduced to this author Ms. Fox has written some great mafia genre romance and Unwilling Vow is no exception !
So much to like :
Great characters in Jace and Olivia Loved the cover great visual of Jace Interesting and unexpected plot twists Age gap Sizzling chemistry Happily ever After
Olivia is an amazing character ! As down on her luck as she is - she doesn’t give up ! Jace has never really dated yet is drawn to Olivia the moment he sees her ; unfortunately he is far from honest with her about not only his life in the mafia but he is the Don of the Barone Family currently at war with the Carusos. Luka Caruso has been blackmailing Olivia to get to Jace and potentially cause his downfall or death.
I read this book in one sitting ! Great read !

Unwilling Vow by Willow Fox is the fourth instalment in her Mafia Marriages standalone series. This is a Dark Mafia Arranged Marriage Romance read with an emphasis on dark and Broody with a subtle age gap component. However both characters connection and maturity is matched. This book is for those who are patient as its a slow burn romance that wasn't quite to my liking but I'm sure others will really enjoy it! This book follows Olivia and Jace. Jace needs a surrogate and Olivia is desperate enough that she agrees to have a baby for him, not realising that he is a mafia don and that their lives have previously intersected. But will it all become too much for Olivia and will she feel like she is just being used for will true feelings arise between the two?
I'm looking forward to the next instalment in this standalone series where I hope we get more appearances for all the characters we have previously met and I have loved.

Jace and Olivia have an awkward meeting at the start of the book.
Jace is interviewing for a surrogate to have a child. He’s not happy with the choices sent, until Olivia steps in for a job interview?
Olivia is a the bottom in her life, living in her car and in debt to mob Don Caruso, thanks to her late husband. His debt became hers and only making enough to pay him, thus losing her house. On top of that, there’s medical bills for her son, Austin that passed away!
Caruso sends her to a job interview, where she meets Jace. Thinking she’s interviewing for an assistant position? Due to his line of questioning, she decides to leave but faints, due to lack of nutrition.
It gets crazy when Jace offers her the surrogacy job; sweetens the deal with a place to live and healthy pay plus all medical expenses paid.
Caruso has a hidden agenda blackmailing Olivia and in the middle of it all. Jace and Olivia fall for each other as things get complicated and another secret is revealed. Can Olivia forgive Jace?
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "UNWILLING VOW" Willow Fox did a great job writing this Dark Mafia Romance its intriguing, interesting, steamy, angsty, secrets, kidnapping, suspense, intense drama, twists that make for an enjoyable read. Jace a billionaire businessman also Mafia Don he keeps hidden for reasons looking for a Surrogate to have his baby. Olivia is sassy, sexy, curious woman who's hit herself in trouble she owes a debt to an enemy Don Luka he wants her to get a job as an assistant to Jace so she applys only to find out he wants her to be a surrogate to have his baby. Jace & Olivia's chemistry is so hot it becomes more than just being a surrogate she gets kidnapped causing her to go into labor. Will Jace get Olivia back & baby in time what will happen when she finds out he's with the Mafia can they get their HEA. I definitely recommend to get this book great story you'll want know how it turns out so much happens I thoroughly enjoyed the story.
* Spoiler Alert* Olivia &; Jace keep the Dark Mafia series going, & as hot as ever! Olivia is much more forgiving than I ever would be, but, then again, I haven't met any hot mafia Dons like Jace. Okay, so I haven't met anyone like Jace. You want to be mad at him, yet he brings such a hotness with his alpha behavior, that you can see why Olivia does. That and her ex is a less than wonderful kind of guy. Willow always has a way to bring sizzle to her stories, & this one is just that...you can almost feel the heat off the pages! Though not recommended, it is possible to read the story as a standalone, but why would you want to miss out on the first three??? Answer: you wouldn;t! So kick off your work shpes, draw a bath, pour a glass of wine or a mug of mulled cider, &; dig right in. You won't regret it!

Unwilling Vow by Willow Fox. This is the fourth book in the Mafia Marriages series and can be read as a standalone. Jace needs an heir and wants to use a surrogate, Olivia needs a job thinking it as an assistant she ends up interviewing, but little does she know what it really entails. Once the offer is on the table both need to rethink what they are getting into. I liked the plot twist that entwines their pasts and brings reckoning and redemption to the forefront. The author does a great job with creating a plot filled with dark drama, strong characters, intense passion, and chemistry mixed with angst and action, and plenty of twists and surprises that kept me entertained. Things and people are not always what they seem.

Overall, a good story. Olivia did the best she could, dealing with the debt left behind by the loss of her late husband and its aftermath. Jace is also trying to be a “good” mafia don - he isn’t afraid of killing traitors or “family” enemies, but there are some lines he won’t cross (human trafficking for instance). Olivia seems somewhat detached about having a baby for Jace. I guess I would’ve expected more emotion after the loss of her first child. Jace also seemed detached, despite wanting a child - he wanted Olivia, but he also wanted to keep her at a distance, wanting her to make the first move but at the same time not giving her any encouragement. I would’ve liked to see more emotion but the story held together well.

Willow did it again.. made me want more from the books that keep me attentive, curling my toes, and just reading those juicy, loving scenes that make your heart happier than ever. I very much like how the book starts out and slowly works from the climax to the end. The MC was intriguing and i was actually a little confused in the beginning since I didnt quite understand the female role but later i understood what happened and just giggled a bit. My only recommend I actually wanted to know what she was like for 6 months while she interacting with other people and her pregnant belly but that is just my suggestion but overall i enjoy and liked the book alot!

Jace is head of the Barone Mafia and he wants a child and going to hire a surrogate. Olivia goes for an interview with Jace thinking it's for a office job when she's asked to have his baby, under contract of course. I absolutely loved these two. Both cagey and edging around each other determined not to cross the line but both having feelings for the other. Their connection certainly came across. I loved the drama of the situation and being a Mafia focused storyline, bought the intensity to the plot. It was very well written and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I'll be looking for more in the series that's for sure! I really really loved it!!

Jace is in need of an heir and Olivia is desperate for a job to pay off her ex husbands debts to mob boss Luca but the personal assistant job isnt quite what she gets offered when she meets Jace. It's meant to be a simple transaction, she gets money to pay of her debt payed off in exchange for a child but having her around stirs something within him. But what happens when she discovers she's pregnant with a mafia boss's child! And discovers their pasts entwine? Well written age gap, baby, mafia romance an engaging story and chemestry sizzling characters, with twists, desires, suspense action and more!

Unwilling Vow by Willow Fox is book 4 in the Mafia Marriages Series. This is the story of Jace and Olivia. Olivia is down on her luck with loosing her job and trying to pay off her former husband's debt which is owed to Luka Caruso. Luka has forced Olivia to apply for a job as an assistant to Jace to work to get information from Jace and bring it back to him. But what she didn't know was that Jace was looking for a surrogate mother to have his child. Jace doesn't do relationships which is why its leading him to want a child with a surrogate mother. When he meets Olivia something about her makes him interested in seeing more of her. Jace is the Don of the Barone Family and we learn that he is at war with the Caruso family. So this book has a few twist and turns.
A slow-burn romance between a mafia don wanting a surrogate and an unsuspecting woman desperate enough to agree. Willow Fox always manages to keep me engaged with her stories and this is no exception. We don’t really see much of Jace and Olivia as a couple, but I could still feel their longing for the other one. I do wish more time was spent with them, especially when dealing with a certain situation Olivia finds out about. It seemed like they had one conversation about it and everything was forgiven. Overall this was another great book in the series.
This was a captivating and engaging read . Jace and Olivia didn’t have a traditional start. Jace is the head of Mafia family, wanted to hire a woman to give birth to his child without getting married. Olivia applies for the job thinking she is applying for an assistant job. She is homeless and is desperate need of money and running away from rival mafia so she has no choice but to accept the job. The story was captivating and beautifully written. This is the first time I am reading this author and really enjoyed the writing style. I believe the story is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. Will definitely be checking out more books by this author.
Jace is a man seeking a surrogate to have his child and heir. Olivia is desperate for work. But thisngs are never as they seem. Jace appears to be a wealthy business man, but is a mafia dom. Olivia has been through unbelievable loss. This story is well written, the characters compelling, there's action, drama, and steam. This book has some surprising twists and more. Though this is the 4th book in the Mafia Marriage series, each can be read as a standalone, but with Kindle Unlimited you can read them all for FREE. Solid 4 star read.

Olivia is down on her luck. She’s lost her home, her money, her family and has been sleeping in her car. Luka Caruso expects her to pay off her ex husbands debt or she’s dead. He tells her to apply for a job at Jace Barcone’s office, that he’s looking for an assistant. What she doesn’t know is that Jace is interviewing for a surrogate to give him a child. She knows he’s a billionaire but not that he’s the Don of the mafia. Good story with plenty of action that is fast paced, drama, suspense, secrets, twists and turns and a slow burn romance. I thoroughly enjoyed this read.

This book was a nice read. Although it did seem rushed in some areas and I think the author could have added more story to it. Olivia is living in her car, having lost her husband and son in a fire. She goes for a job interview not realising what the interview is for. Jace wants a baby and a surrogate to provide the baby. This starts a very quick story between the two of them and I did think she made her decision rather to quickly and that is why I think there could have been a bit more of a storyline. Overall if you want an easy mafia romance then this is the book for you.
