Five millennia ago, a Great War waged between fairies, witches and non-magic humans. Every hundred years, the war repeats to the result of thousands of lives lost. Fairy history teaches that the Witches slaughter them to harvest their wings, and that is the cause of the war.

Fantasies are always a delightful read. Especially if it consists of supernatural powers.
The title of the book "Outcast" means rejected. This story is about a fairy named Lily Rosales who was born wingless. Everyone in her community considers her bad luck. As the story pace, we come to know that a Great war, which happens at an interval of every 100 years, is going to take place. It wages between fairies, witches and non-magic humans. In order to know the preparation of the enemy Lily is sent to the witches' settlement.
To know the adventurous and thrilling journey of Lily you will need to read this book. the book is written in simple language. The flow is good and will keep you engaged throughout.
You might like to wander through a few artistic journals — they’re full of sparks and surprises.

🏷The Outcast by K.T. Luca is the Shadows of History Book 1 and an amazing Fantasy book which will take away your heart. Fantasies are something which involves super-natural elements in it and this thing always amazes me. Here, the way Author has presented the story adds more value to it.

Story starts off with the introduction of fairies. In the entire community a fairy named Lily was born but everyone considered her as a bad omen as she was born wingless.

Lily was subjected to several hardships and ridicule, resulting in her having no friends and relying solely on her parents and the cats Oscar and Kiki, who had chosen her. Lily Rosales is transferred to the witch community later in the narrative.
As it was the time of the upcoming war so that’s why the Fairies decided to send Lily to the Witch den so that she can gather some information which could facilitate the fairies. I didn’t find any flaws in the story and for me it’s a thumbs up. I would highly encourage you all to read this book and especially to all the fantasy lovers out there.

No matter how older we get, the excitement factor when it comes to reading a fantasy genre that holds fairies and witches is immesurable.
The reason being we have grown up listening to such tales that has built up a beautiful memory since childhood.
'The Outcast' Shadows of History is a fantasy thriller where we get an opponent to relive the childhood but with a twist in upgraded version.
The title becomes clear as the Lily Rosales character is introduced.
The imagination of the Author is impressive here with well balanced
storyline influenced by fairy tales with a unique plot making the script original.
The life of Lily gave me a nostalgic feeling and i could visualise her.
The addition of war in this story just adds up a spice in the dish.
The story becomes more interesting as it proceeds.
As Lily is introduced to various experience, the suspense takes a whole new dimension.
Lily's character is influencing that makes readers stay curious about her discoveries among Witches.
The concept of wingless fairy made me question it's reason and the story made sense as i read it.
The language is easy to understand.

I'm certainly not a great fan of Fiction and finds peace in Non-Fiction as genre, the only category I love reading is Fantasy Fiction which creates a universe of itself, the one's like Harry Potter.
I found the blurb pretty unique and hence tries picking this read, 'The Outcast'.
I wasn't surely wrong while picking it, as I enjoyed the new genre, ut was intriguing.
The plot revolves around the war between the communities of Witches and Fairies.
It wasn't something I anticipated at the very first glimpse but the pace and storyline were page turner for obvious.
At the span of hundred years, both of them begins the war, Fairies obviously in their defense and Witches do it, in order to have the wings of Fairies.
Plot has an interesting character, Lily who was born in Fairy community yet was wingless, was referred as bad omen and this was certain humiliation point for her, she had been subjected to several tough-time. She was lonely and had no friends, but only had her parents and cats.
The time of war was near, and hence Lily was sent as a messenger to Witches community so that she could act as a spy and learn about them.
Things changed, she was showered with unconditional support and love, people at that community considered her as one of them. She had certain meltdown.
I kinda love the way, author presented this fantasy story and tried to put up something new into the things.
Overall, had a great experience of reading.

The tale fantastically gruesome in parts and the text reads are quite gripping. The story is all about the warfare between the witches and fairies. Good versus evil. Like every 100 years this conflict happens and as a results witch take away wings of fairies. The story also has some magical elements.
Lily Rosales with her early age life become unfair to her. As she was born without wings, despite her parents were all normal. She came across many haterates due to this situation.Community also claimed that its a bad omen and any child born previously without wings had been disastrous when using magic. There were many records of the wingless as they tried to use magic and end up creating huge problem further.
She was also not been acknowledgement from anyone but, she found that she was able to exist quite happily with her own company. What will happen during the next war? How important will be the role of Lily? Read the book to unfold the complete plot of the story.
Its fantasy novel for children or we can say is can be enjoyed by both children and adults alike. The storyline is excellent and the joining of all the loose strands at the end.The writing was absolutely perfect, and I will definitely be looking out for more by this author.

This novel is extremely well written which transports the reader into the flawless world of imagination and makes them wonder. The author has gone leaps and bounces with her fantasy and imagination. The reader will keep on flipping the pages to know what happens next.
This novel transports you to the five million years ago where Witches had an evil eye against the magical super powers of fairies Wings so they fought with them to get their wings. After every 100 years severe battle used to take place amongst witches, fairy and non magical humans.
This war resulted in deaths of thousands of lives.
The Outcast tells a fantastic tale of a Wingless fairy whose life as every emotion be bravery, struggle & war. She is Lily, the wingless fairy who stays in the treetops of the fae forests to gain information about the upcoming war battle with the witches and therefore stays in close proximity with the witches despite the risk involved.

In this fairy community, a fairy is born without wings unfortunately. She is named as Lily who is considered a bad omen though she has got a purpose to serve her community.
There have been whispers about a war between Witches and the fairy and the fairy community chose lily to send her in the witch community for being an informant. But destiny has other plans, as Lily finds her comfort in the witches community who treat her as one among them. What will she do now? What will happen further?
Read and find out the mysteries. I enjoyed reading this book and it is highly recommended. The one liner of this story impressed me and thats the reason I picked up this book. As a fantasy lover, I would suggest this book to all fantasy readers out ter.

The outcast : Shadows of History by K.T. Luca is about the history of Fairies, Witches and Draconians. When we think about fairies out mind strikes with wings and magic but what is a fairy is born without wings? Who would she be in the community? Lily is a fairy who is born without wings, she is called as an outcast of the fairy community.
There have been whispers about a war between Witches and the fairy and the fairy community choose lily to send her in the witch community for being an informant. While being in the witch community, lily finds herself with people who love being around her and who accept her as she is.
This story of witches and fairy is a very amusing one and the writing style of the Author is also fluent. Though one thing which made this book a bit lengthy was that there were unnecessary scenes included in this book. Rest apart it was a good read and anyone who love reading Fantasy books combined with romantic one will enjoy this one.

🥀Woahh! I was stunned, flabbergasted and surprised. This book is a perfect escape for all the fantasy lovers. I am a fantasy reader and its been long I haven't read a good fantasy book, as soon as I picked it, I wasn't really sure of what to expect but page by page I was introduced to unforgettable characters I wouldn't have met otherwise.

This is the first book in the series and probably felt like a start to something very interesting and big. The storyline is all about world buildings and is filled with unexpected twists which you won't see coming. I liked the writing, it's easy but it's very flowy and certainly keeps the readers intrigued throughout.

I couldn't stop once I started. It's a blend of fun, fantasy, secrets and surprises. A very well written story with characters who will leave a mark for sure. Go for it. Can't wait to read the next one.

Fantasy thrillers is all I need when I don't feel like reading anymore, this book came as a saviour for me.
Who isn't excited about fairy tales , we all are grown up asking our grandmother's for more and more fairytales, to which they never denied, this story reminded me of my bedtime stories time.
Outcast of the shadows is a story of fairy and witches. Since ages fairies and witches are enemies, every 100 years war between them starts. How the story starts and describes fairy's house is Magical as if I too wanted one.
How Beautifully the whole story is narrated , I was in to a different world while I was reading this book. Read fantasy thrillers after so long and felt so good. With the struggles of Lily for survival without wings to little romantic pinch and the war terror everything was blended properly. Loved the book, you should give this book a try, waiting for the second part🤌

We have heard many stories about Fairy tale in our childhood and the stories were used to be very interesting.
But what if the stories of fairy tale can more be exciting enough and having everything in it like , a good story, good literary work and entertainment.
So The Outcast book is really a different book and the story has been penned in such a way that a reader can get so much excited after reading it.
So the story starts describing about a kingdom of fairies and then Lily is born but here the twist is that she hasn't got the wings with her .
Then we move ahead with the story we see how Lily tries to match up things and the war which is shown in the story is really super awesome and amazing.
I really loved the book and enjoyed reading it and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

As soon as I started reading this book I was instantly drawn into Lily's wingless world.
I loved the idea of a fairy who has no wings. She is an outcast of her own kind. When she goes to the witches village, the suspense of whether she would be caught or not had me hanging off the edge of my seat.
My only problem with this book is that it was too short and has now made me want the next one already. :)
I would definitely recommend this book to all fantasy lovers!

Lily Rosales isn’t just a character. She is the book. Her voice, her pain, her strength, it all felt so real. As someone who’s always felt like an outsider, her journey hit home for me in a deeply personal way. The war backdrop is massive, but it never overshadows the emotional core. There were moments I had to stop reading just to breathe, especially when Lily begins questioning everything she's been taught. The ending? I’m still not over it. I need more. I need to know what becomes of her. I need to live in this world longer.

I didn’t expect this book to wreck me. But it did, in the best way. Lily’s journey through a world that fears and despises difference reminded me of why I fell in love with fantasy as a kid. There’s something timeless about her mission into the heart of enemy territory, but what truly stood out was how personal everything felt. I cried for her. I cheered for her. I became her. And that’s rare. The tension, the worldbuilding, the emotional depth, everything clicked. This is a story that matters.

This book gripped my heart from the first chapter. Lily Rosales is such a brilliantly written protagonist, torn, bitter, and brave in all the ways that make you root for her. The lore of the Fairies and Witches felt incredibly deep, like a myth passed down through generations. The moment Lily stepped into the Witch settlement, I was holding my breath. And her connection with the young Witch healer? Chef’s kiss. I cried. Twice. And I’m not a crier.

I loved the concept, a war that repeats every hundred years, and the fairies’ deep-rooted fear of witches harvesting their wings. Lily, born without wings, is such a compelling protagonist. I liked that she wasn’t your typical chosen one; she was vulnerable, full of doubt, and yet determined. The pacing dragged a little in the middle, but the buildup was worth it. I’m invested in this world now.

Blew me away with the twist.
Just when I thought I knew where this story was going, BAM, the truth behind the war’s origin hit like a thunderclap. I had to go back and reread early chapters to see the foreshadowing. Brilliant storytelling. I wasn’t too sold on the romance subplot, but it didn’t detract from the power of Lily’s personal journey.

The Outcast is totally spellbinding, enchanting, and a pleasantly absorbing book, and readers will absolutely fall in love with this adventurous and magical novel. If you have even the tiniest inclination toward fantasy, then you should definitely read

K.T. Luca has created a brilliant story. The book is well-written and has many unpredictable elements. What seemed like a simple enough spy mission turns into an adventure, resulting in friendship (and maybe a little more than friendship, if you know what I mean). The story completely casts a spell over the reader. The mysterious lore of the soul-eating “Macellavir” slowly pulls the reader in, knowing that the protagonists will surely come across the beast one way or another. And the reader constantly wonders what will happen to the little wingless fairy.

This is the first book in a trilogy based around the history of a war between witches and fairies. Lily who is the main character is a fae who was born without wings, which makes her an outcast who is chosen to find out at a witches school what the plans for war are. Brilliantly written.

I absolutely loved this book! The story managed to pull me into Lily’s world, following her journey. Though… a few times I did get frustrated that it’s only a story and I couldn’t shout my warnings to never trust a pretty eyed prick!!
