Every adventurer at the Lahti branch is abuzz with excitement over the discovery of a new cavern. Roland, the former legendary assassin, is chosen to lead the investigation of the underground area. The hollow turns out to be far more than just some natural formation where questers can pick up rare materials and treasures, however. A passage within leads to an arena where the elite gamble on brutal death matches. What’s more, one of Roland’s former companions is a fighter! Saving a friend and dismantling a secret gambling den sounds like something a perfectly normal guild employee would do...right?
The main character is like the spy 007, even uses eye glasses like Clark Kent (to magically/miraculously) deceive the people that knew him before he retired to "live a normal life". Even though in his previous life he lived the life of a terrible assassin, it seems that in this life he's trying to right all the wrongs, and defend all of the weak and vulnerable, in a such a way, that he never forgets to bed all of the beauties he sees in his way. There is something good about a positive story, and all of Roland's, main character, sexual prowess, is at least hinted, so that this does not become a Kamasutra manual for dorks and neets. This third volume is probably half the size of the previous 2 volumes. The first one had more than 20 chapters, the second had more than 11 chapters, while this third volume has about six chapters, broken up into several parts. The pages are almost the same (over 200+ pages) so it stands to reason that Roland's adventures are much less in number and much more detailed than before. The stories the different volumes tell, are short and to the point, to stress the over powered capacity and talent of the main character, and his never ending sexual appetite when encountering beautiful women. This third volume starts with a vacation promoted by the adventurer's guild, for its workers.
